Yet another thread? Yes. I'm sorry. I seem to have recently developed the attention span of a goldfish and had another computer virus decided to start a new career again. Don't worry I'm not sure Uzbekistan and the Hexagon are over just yet. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Let's go with the flow and see where it takes us. We're revisiting a old idea here - "How to cheat at a youth challenge" was a career I had back in my FM17 days in which I allowed myself one signing per season. This is almost a youth challenge but not quite, in theory you could eventually build a full starting 11 of 11 signings over 11 years, but you would still rely very heavily in youth players. It also places an extra level of pressure on getting your single signing exactly right; and the very low turnover of players means you get attached to players long term just like in a real youth challenge. My last attempt was in Croatia. This time we're heading to the Netherlands to meet some Sneeky Bastards. I love the picture on the top left corner. Horny football indeed. OSN Sneek are a Dutch 4th tier side (Claassen leagues activated). Semi-pro. Let's do this. Just one more little note: as if hiring players in a youth challenge wasn't bad enough, I'm also using a downloaded tactic (though I think I'll soon tweak that more to my liking). So that's double cheating this time. Mostly because I'm already on my 2nd attempt at this, as the first ended like this: ... and because I found a tactic that I love for the FM version I'm playing here FM18, from the depths of like page 7 in the tactics forums. Credit @sab77 Raumdeuter? Shadow Striker? Mezzala? Double attacking invertedwingbacks? Music to my ears. Love it. And now that there's no turning back let's go down this rabbit hole.
