Right, forgive me if I'm wrong but this is not something I've seen brought up or even rumoured but it is a feature that is basically already in the game. When you create a club, you are able to design your kits for that team. Now how good would it be if at the end of every season, every team changed their kits. Only slightly for home kits but the designs for the away and alternate kits could be anything really. The team you were managing, you could either select from a group of generated kits, or even create your own. This really would work wonders with the immersion that football manager goes for. Please give me any opinions on this but I think it would be a great addition.
I'm managing Cobh Ramblers in the League of Ireland and my club debt is at about -£220,000, and it is projected to get worse and worse, and I'm confused as to how I can help the situation. I'm in my third season with the club and each year the debt has gotten worse, apart from my middle season when a little run of good results in the early qualifying stages of the Europa League brought in about £130,000 to the club, putting us briefly in profit. The wage budget for the club is £8,100 p/w (up from £2,200 p/w when I first arrived, due to a promotion to the premier division and two smaller cup wins), but I'm only using £5,500 p/w of it; partly because I'm trying to improve the club finances, but I have also assembled a squad which is surpassing all expectations this season (board expectation was to "fight bravely to avoid relegation", but at the halfway point of our first season in the premier division we're on course for a very comfortable mid table finish) and I literally don't need to spend anymore of it! The board is delighted with my management of the wage budget, with a 97% rating on the board confidence screen. When I've looked more into the details of the finances, our biggest expenditure is wages even though it's at a completely normal level in comparison with the rest of the division, with one £33,000 transfer fee, which was pretty much the entirety of my transfer budget. If the wages are way too high for a club like this, then how come the board are allowing such a big budget? Is there anything else I can do to help the situation?
