FK Gariunai Vilnius is a football team from Vilnius, Graiunia district. And in the little info I could find, they state that "FK Gariunai is the protector of the Gariunai market". The market is the biggest in Lithuania. I wanted another go at a nation people rarely manage in, and this time I decided to go with Lithuania. I have started my save in the Sunday Football League Ergo C Division, the seventh tier of Lithuanian football! There is no particular reason I went with FK Gariunai Vilnius, other than that I like their kit! My aim for this save is to go all the way to the top of the Lithuanian football, and develop a lot of good players along the way. Hopefully boosting the national team, so that they hopefully can make it to a Euro Championship or a World Cup! I will not be signing any players that has not come through our youth system. I may sign players that has left the club. Facilities We share our home ground with a lot of other teams, 21 to be exact! Not much to see here. Hopefully in a few years there will be a lot of names added. Manager Here is the leagues I have loaded. I have also added every single league in Europe as "view only". Thanks to Weiry for the DB! You can get it HERE. Just forget the Honningsvåg save, it never happened. Turns out we could not get promoted from the league we were in. My mistake.
I chipped away once in Lithuania, I can chip twice They said it cannot be done, they said it shouldn't be done. But here we are, double Lithuanian/Baltic save on this forum. With Gariunai in full swing, I thought it could be fun to do a journeyman on FM19 that I didn't really play all that much. Add in, three custom made nations in Lithuania (very unfaithful to the real life pyramid for lols), Latvia (somewhat better but still relaxed) and Estonia (now this was actually realistic) and this is a recipe for a disaster! I am not quite sure what's the overall aim of this other than try win everything in every country, ideally with a smallish club. I'd love to lead one of these nations internationally one day too, so let's hope that happens at some point. Without further ado, this is the set up I will be running for this save, baltics playable, all neighbours view-only with continental teams filled out. I will also simulate 5 years in order to shuffle things just a bit. I will try play this somewhat LLM by not actively looking for players beyond the scouting page, same goes for staff. Alonsi!
Hi (again) guys after my first FM18 save with VADUZ and LIECHTENSTEIN i decide to get a brake from it and start something new,for first time i will not manage from the start national team too but i will wait and try to get the job when it become available,if U21 or U19 job become available too i will apply for it....So welcome to TAURAGE!! From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Tauragė ( pronunciation (help·info); see other names) is an industrial city in Lithuania, and the capital of Tauragė County. In 2011, its population was 26,444. Tauragė is situated on the Jūra River, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast, and not far from the Baltic Sea coast. Although first mentioned in 1507, Tauragė received its city charter only in 1924 and its coat of arms (a silver hunting horn in a red field) in 1997. Notable buildings in the city include the castle (19th c. Russian Empire Customs) (currently housing Tauragė Region Museum, Tourism Information Centre), 19th c. FK Lokomotyvas Radviliškis Why Lithuania? Another day, another youth only challenge. Always wanted to start my own, so I decided that the Faroe Islands would be a good choice. Decided on a team when I realized someone was doing a youth challenge with the exact same team. So I dthought Malta might be a good country when I saw someone was doing one there too. So I ended up going with Lithuania seemed like a very interesting country and would suit one of these challenges well. Goal Win the Champions League with a squad of academy graduates. No transfers are allowed in to the club in terms of players, only backroom staff. Potentially lead the country to success too if possible. Process I simulated a year and chose the team predicted by the media to finish bottom of the 1 League (Second Division), FK Lokomotyvas Radviliškis. They play at the Radviliškio miesto centrinis stadionas, or Radviliškis Central Stadium, which is an all-seater stadium with a grand capacity of precisely 482. Here it is in all it's glory. . Looks like a really nice place, just might need a few more seats once we start tasting success. Manager Meet Antso Rakotondrandria, the new manager of FK Lokomotyvas Radviliškis (My copy and paste buttons are being abused). The 29-year old Malagasy manager played soccer some in his youth for fun, but has no coaching badges. Chose to make the manager from Madagascar to see if we can get any regens from there. The team already has some regens from the first season, but barely any real players, so the first season will be very hard. Anyway, it should be an interesting challenge. P.S.: Never done a thread like this before, so I may change up the way I portray information from time to time. Also I have no idea how often I'll be able to update this, but hopefully pretty often from now to the new year, and then from time to time after that.
