Hey everyone, Apologies in advance, I couldn't find the correct area to put this post but I thought this would be the best suited place. I'm having difficulty installing Football Manager 2007 on my iMac 2009 running Snow Leopard (10.6.8). I've tried using the terminal installer, but it states that there's no Java Runtime Environment, which there is. And I've used the java installer file with more success, but once the installation is complete it warns me around the affect of file storage space (can't remember the exact words for this) and the app then won't load. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, I just want to play FM07 for nostalgic purposes (that, and I'm fiending for a Sherman Cardenas & Nicolas Millan attacking combination!). Failing this, does anyone know if FM08 would maybe work better under these conditions?
Hi all, Apologies for the absolute step 1 question. Promise I am a seasoned FM player, but first purchase while owning a laptop without a disc drive! I have received FM2017 as a boxed CD version gift. I haven't opened yet though as I'm not sure whether I'm able to open the box (and remove my right to return!) and install the game with the code contained inside for Steam WITHOUT needing to insert the CD at any point into my Macbook Pro (which has no disc drive). Could someone please confirm that I don't need the disc at all, just the code for Steam, then I can get cracking! Thanks.
Hi, I received Football Manager 2017 as a gift and I cannot launch the game. I completed the installation process but when I click to play the game it only says 'running' then nothing. I turned off syncing, but that did not change matters. I tried various techniques listed elsewhere on drivers, directx, net framework, verifying cache multiple times, installing windows updates etc... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Marty DxDiag.txt
