Hey everybody, I'm pretty new to fm and just finished my 3rd season with Roma. I've completely scrapped my tactic because I keep underperforming. I would appreciate it if someone could give me a good base to start with. I'd prefer having Florenzi attack down the right flank with Cengiz Under as an inside forward on the right. I have a transfer window to work with and its looking like I'll need a true winger to cross to Schick, but starting El Shaarawy and paling with 2 wingback is also an option. I've mostly been playing a 4123 with a wide variety of roles in the middle and Cristante can't seem to break past a 6.9 rating despite being my highest valued midfielder. A huge inspiration for me is Klopp's Gegenpressing, being a Dortmund fan but I don't think I have the right squad for that. Any help is appreciated!
Hi, I’m having some issue in my 433 setup. Still having also the same doubts so I’ve got to understand 2 or 3 things, keep in mind that I want necessarily use 2 inside forwards on the flanks. And now, straight to the questions: - Does this formation suits an attacking mentality ? - Can IF be both on attack? - Better use FB or WB behind IF ? In other words, there’s necessarily a relationship between a formation and a mentality? (For example, 433 suits control and not attacking...) Tnx in advance for your help!
Hi all, I'm playing 4-2-3-1. What I'd like to do is to have two-footed players in the AML and AMR positions who run at the defence but are agnostic about cutting inside or going wide. The winger role has to run wide, and the inside forward role and advanced playmaker role have to cut inside. Is it possible to do what I wnat? Thanks, Wilkes
I always play with wingers. A right-footed on the right wing, a left-footed on the left wing. Sometimes, according to the requirements of a match, i swap them and change their roles to "Inside Forwards" (I only do this while in a match and not for the whole match). I have 4 in my squad and they perform great. My (not exactly) problem is that Espinoza and Zivkovic have "Cuts Inside from Both Wings". What i want from my wingers is: -60% provide assists -40% score goals. What would your advice be? Should i tell them to stop "Cuts Inside from Both Wings" and then train them to cut inside from the opposite wing (Espinoza->Cuts Inside from the Left Wing and Zivkovic->Cuts Inside from the Right Wing)? Should i leave it as it is because the results are not bad? P.S. This is from FM16.
