  1. The IGE has been improving a few things I would like to see added asap to allow users to keep up with current events if they wish this are- the ability to set up future transfers as it is now a player is moved instantly, why not be able to stipulate the date when this transfer occurs so it can be set to occur later also the ability to add an injury/ban to a player the option to edit a competition (I know editing the advanced rules can cause issues but minor things can be done) such as changing the prize money/tv money as if you intend to play a long save this needs to be going up sub rules/overall squad rules would be a dream option in future for all comps

I was reading the other day that Olympiacos is using the APEX software from STATSports, which monitors and tracks a player's progress in training, matches, etc. This means that their Data Analysts are able to tell when a player is more likely to be injured. Same for jadedness. They are able to tell how jaded a player is, and advise the fitness coaches to give him lighter routines throughout the season, etc. It's 2017 and if a club like Olympiacos is using such software, I can't imagine what software do bigger clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona, Bayern, etc. use. That information is available to them and the software is very reliable. But, in FM, there is no injury indicator or something like that. Also, the jadedness attribute, although it has values between -500 and 500, it is a hidden one, and we only receive messages like "Player X is a little jaded and could do with a rest". What I am suggesting here is to include something like an injury indicator and more information regarding jadedness. And it's a nice way to make use of Data Analysts. Could something like the following be implemented into the game? A) For Injuries: With a stars rating (of course it doesn't have to be 1 star, 1.5 stars, etc., but can be divided like the current reputation system): =Very Low possibility of an injury =Very High possibility of an injury Or something with dots (like a player's proficiency at a certain position) : Green=Very Low possibility, Red=Very High possibility This means that, the better the Data Analyst's team, the more reliable the calculation is. B) For Jadedness: With a red(or whatever colour) circle like Condition/Match Sharpness and a percentage (%): This means that all clubs will get the same (standard) information, which is not 100% fair though, because small clubs don't have the resources for such software. But I can't think of something else for jadedness and it's definitely better than the way it is now. Now, the way the Data Analysts calculate the possibility of an injury, it's up to you SI. I would guess, Adaptability plays a part (how well they know the players) and Judging Player Ability (how well they can estimate a player's Injury Proneness attribute). And the message you receive in your inbox could be something like this: "Fitness Coach X has just had a chat with Data Analyst X who raised his concern following Player's X progress in training. Data Analyst X feels that Player X is very close to getting injured and it would be better if you considered giving him a lighter routine or play him for a maximum of 60' in matches for the next week". Rest is on you SI. Why should you consider something like that? Because the game is pretty random when it comes to injuries. It randomly selects players and give them an injury. It's like the code reads "X time has passed without injury, pick player X and give him a torn hamstring".... I want to be able to prevent an injury. Or at least, decrease the risk of someone getting injured. And it doesn't mean that I will be able to prevent all injuries, but many (depending on my staff, facilities, player, etc.). Because it happens IRL: (1st and 3rd interviews are in English, 2nd and 4th are in Greek) What do you think? P.S. I haven't played FM17 a lot and I don't know if there is an improvement regarding the information we receive for injuries or jaded players, so forgive me if there is.
  3. So did a restart of Swans, and am now losing a player every 2.5 days on average since the start of preseason. Two of them in a single game. This is two weeks of preseason with two friendlies. Last save I had two new injuries in the first two weeks with the same roster. Maybe that toggle got bumped the wrong way, or wrong side of the 0. At this rate I will not be able to field a team by the start of season.
  4. Hi, I hope not to post a silly question, but I'm using a beta version save (created before 2nd Nov): does it allow me the right patching of the game? I'm worried about the extremely high number of injuries I'm still having in my games, and I'm start wondering if it could be caused by the incorrect application of the first patch, wich should have resolved (or at least minimized) the problem. Anyway, do you think it is a better Idea to stop using the Beta saves and to start a new career after 2nd november, or it is exactely the same thing? thanks in advance F.
  5. 2 to 3 players injured PER GAME, and not little injuries, like 3 weeks away
  6. I'm having at least one major injury every single game, without fail. I've noticed other teams have similar numbers of injuries as well. I have highest rated physio and sport scientist in the Bundesliga overall. How do i reduce the amount of injuries i am getting, its roughly 2-3 every game with 1 major. My players are all 100% condition 100% match sharp at the beginning, but always get injured and now I have no wing backs or midfielders available... By the way, I'm on September 23rd so less than 2 months into the game and i have half a team.
  7. Good evening, Currently managing PSG and i'm lucky if I DON'T get at least one injury per game, most of the time it's two injuries per match and it's nearly always my wingers. No, i'm not using gegenpress... I'm in mid November and i'm on 40 injuries already and i'm a big believer in heavy rotation. I get it's bad luck and this is a beta but the injury frequency is a little ridiculous and is now becoming a hinderance on my enjoyment. Please please fix this soon.
  8. Last year on MeisterTrainerForum, I came across Swedish_Lenny's excellent work, added a few things, and loved it! Unfortunately, this year, he has retired from editing: So I'm continuing the work, but also modified it quite a bit. Realistic Injuries for FM18 Original Injury Count: 114 New Injuries(Lenny's + Mine): +86 Total: 200 Common Injuries: Career Threatening, Serious Injuries: Likely Goalkeeper Injuries: Contagious Injuries TESTERS NEEDED: The goal behind this is to make things more difficult, and realistic for the user. And primarily, create more day-to-day decisions. 1. It's no longer easy to get by with one keeper, you must have a backup, if not more than one. 2. Reducing national team time for a player is more necessary. 3. Adding injury clauses in contracts is more necessary. 4. Obviously, medical center, good physios, training balance, rest, and recovery management are all more important. 5. Minor, short injuries are more common, with the ability to play with protective equipment if appropriate. So now on a game-to-game basis, you will have to decide: Do you play your star this game, and let him recover/sit out the next game? Do you play him for only the first half? Or do you sit him out now, and save him for the big game? 6. Managing older players, who are more prone due to age, wear and tear, and injury history. Now, testing is needed, to see if the balance is right. For those who can manage injury prevention well: Are there too many/few injuries? Is one injury too common/rare?   9. I've looked everywhere and I can't find any answer. Does anybody know what kind of injuries are in the game? I trying to establish a list of all the injuries available and their duration, but I can't find it anywhere.
  10. Playing on the most recent update on ios11. Looking like there is no injury news in the news page, you only know a player is injured when you look at your squad. Is this being looked at to fix?
  11. The way players get injured is so unrealistic I had 8 players injured in a matter of 3 games my training is on average.
  12. I can't be fussed with training so I've handed responsibility over to my assistant. However every month I get a warning that a number of players are being overworked and are at risk of injury. Plus I'm getting loads of injuries. It looks like my assistant is still making injured players train. Is there a way to fix this without having to take full control of training?
  13. I have a player selected for Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations, who was then injured. He missed the first two games of the tournament, but then appeared despite still being listed as injured on my club screens
  14. I'm getting far too many serious injuries, 4 to 8 first team players per month, it happens every season. Has anyone else had this problem??
