  1. Puștii lui Hagi - The Viitorul is bright ! Introduction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Viitorul_Constanța FC Viitorul Constanța is a club founded and owned by legendary player Gheorghe Hagi since 2009 . Hagi wanted to take over his old and almost bankrupt club FC Farul Constanța but did not get permission . That's why Hagi started a soccer school in Constanța , Ovidiu .Hagi then bought the licence from CS Ovidiu in the League III . Usually the Romanians ignore the inconspicuous sleeping city Ovidiu and go to the fashionable seaside resort Mamaia. Since a few years the town is also an obligatory stop for the celebrities of Dinamo and Steaua Bucharest. Thanks to the local Viitorul Constanta , Ovidiu is on the map, now it has to get rid of its destitute view. The immediate vicinity of the four-lane road that divides Ovidiu into two looks like a war zone: the half-finished houses and hastily abandoned construction sites follow each other in rapid succession. Until the well-shaped contours of Stadionul Viitorul with its 4,500 covered pitches suddenly appear in no-man's-land. This is where the Academia houses the Fotbal Gheorghe Hagi and Viitorul Constanta, on a seven-hectare piece of land. With its eight football fields, it is by far the largest and most modern youth academy in Romania. The youth hotel that is on the scaffolding has to complete the picture. With his two instruments, the academy and the club, Hagi has long been preparing a putsj for the establishment. : Hagi breaking through Bucharest's power with his provincial club and other big cities like Timisoara, Cluj, Ploiesti, Arad and Craiova. With a budget of 4.5 million euros, Viitorul doesn't even come close to the six richest clubs in Romania, but the climb from third division to the top is unstoppable. In 2016-2017 FC Viitoral became champion with the youngest team ever and last season it won the Cupa României. Confirmation and European success should now follow. With Hagi as owner and Head of Youth Dev. (I changed this in the editor, Hagi was Manager and owner) and best friend Gheoghe Popescu as chairman this can't go wrong. Well-known players from the academy : Razvan Marin (Standard) , Ianis Hagi ( Genk - Rangers) , Florinel Coman ( FSCB), Cristian Ganea (Athletic - loaned back). Location: FC Viitorul is located in region Constanța , Constanța is part of Northern Dobruja: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Dobruja Stadium: Facilities : Great training and youth facilities , excellent academy coaching and exceptional youth recruitment. Why FC Viitorul ? : I was looking for a new challenge after my adventure with Icelandic club IR (only youth) . I am a big fan of Bilbao / only Basques. That's why I was looking for a team with a special background and preferably active in a nice special / beautiful region. I finally chose Romania as a tribute to my great-grandfather, who had roots in Romania. I want to emulate a Dobruja only policy. Thanks @Jimbokav1971 and @Muttley84 for the suggestions.
  2. The year is 2019 and after many many years of hurt in the UK the english FA has decided to take things into their own hands in order to increase the quality of the english national team and force every single team in england to only use 3 over 20 year old foreign players in their playing 11. this rule change surprised the whole world but everyone from the UK seems to be very supportive of it since people are tired of seeing south american wonderkids take over their continent. Every club in the Premier league and english championship have supported the decision and have added buy english players and develop players using the youth facilities to their club vision. ps. brexit has also been disabled since it is a disaster. 3. I would like to edit the English premier league to make it mandatory to field at least 6 English or home-grown players. I want to do this to see how the England football team would develop over the years with more English players getting the chance to play. does anybody know how to do this in the editor, I can figure it out.
  4. Anybody know if it is possible this year to apply transfer policies like Chivas and Athletic have? I know, that the Athletic Club policy with only players from one region will not be possible, in another country through the editor, as regional nationalities are unique for the basque club - as far as I know and understand. But what about making a policy more like Chivas, with only national players? I would love to make an edit for a club, to only be able to sign national players. I know you can set your scouts to only scout such players, and force yourself to do it in that way. But would be an interesting thing to make it in editor. Btw - I have not checked, since like a year ago, if Chivas still got this policy. But I guess they have.
  5. Introduction: I’ve been playing football manager since 2014 version and long-time following this forum. I finally decided to dip my feet in writing a series following my first long-term save in FM 2019. I plan to start a somewhat open discussion of Dynamo Kiev club and my tactics. I intend to post regular updates on my squad and results as well as welcome feedback on how to improve my tactics and training. You can follow the story at the site to which I contribute: https://dictatethegame.com/ I decided to start this save while still in beta for two main reasons. The tactic I intend to try out is not one relying on breaking the current game engine to overachieve but rather on tried and true concepts that would hopefully be applicable to any version of the game. So no 3 strikers nor strikerless tactics. Secondly, I intend to do it with a club that is not from the top 5 leagues. I noticed in the last couple of FMs that the attribute changes between beta and the first patch could be drastic in players in Premiership, Bundesliga or the other “big” leagues. For obvious reason those leagues are more thoroughly scouted. For that reason I reserve those kinds of big saves for later in the year, once I tested out my tactic with a less known side. This year I chose Dynamo Kiev. What attracted me to this club can also be viewed as the 3 Pillars of my 5 Year Plan: 1) Youth Development, 2) Domestic and Continental Success and 3) Implementing Hard Pressing Tactical System inspired by Valeriy Lobanovsky I hail from Ukraine myself so naturally I always followed clubs from this nation. My all-time favourite player growing up was Andriy Shevchenko. One of my earliest footballing memories was watching Dynamo Kiev’s systematic dismantling of Barcelona’s defense in Nov 1998 Champion’s league. Sheva scored 3 goals in that match. Dynamo went on to beat Barcelona 7 to 0 in aggregate. He was part of an elite class, all nurtured at same time by the club. Players such as Oleh Luzhny (later won the Premier League with Arsenal), Serhiy Rebrov (totaling 75 appearances for Ukraine) are just a few examples of the “Dynamo effect” – taking local youngsters and molding them into superstars through hard work and intense fitness conditioning. So to reflect this objective will be to develop a class of homegrown players over the first 5 intakes and then to integrate them into my first team over the following 5 seasons. So by 2028-2029 to have only youth academy products in the 22 player squad. On my way there I’m hoping to also have a positive effect on Ukraine’s National Team and become the foremost farm team for the National Team squads. Success in 1998 Champion’s League marked the revival of the club’s fortunes in late 90s when the manager Valeriy Lobanovsky took over for the second time. In total, he spent 3 decades with the club and its best years were undeniably with him. Becoming the fixture in Champions League and winning numerous domestic trophies were all part of this success. Lobanovsky relied on his signature hard pressing, direct style of play (what some might think of as Geggenpressing today). After dominating Ukrainian League from late 90s to early 2000s, Dynamo has had a bit of a decline due to the meteoric rise of its main rival Shakhtar Donetsk in late 2000s. In the last decade, Shakhtar has won 7 domestic titles in comparison to Dynamo’s 3. This is something that I intend to change, aiming for getting at least 4 titles in 5 seasons. Also Dynamo has not won a major continental trophy since 1985 (UEFA Cup Winner’s Cup) which I also intend to change by winning at least one continental trophy during my first 5 seasons with the club My final objective is developing a Lobanovsky style Pressing Tactic that is built around the player’s hard work, relentless physicality, stamina and disciplined selfless teamwork. By hitting my domestic and continental goals on time, I will know whether this tactical goal was achieved. As you might guess the mold of my ideal player will also be defined by this system (but more on this in future posts) Next: A little context on the Lobanovsky system
  6. Just looking at my squad registration and wondered what the attached highlighted means. I haven't got 10 future transfers going out. Only have a couple out on loan.
  7. Hi, I am in the season 2024-2025 as manager of fc united. I have had a payer on loan from manchester united for 2 years and purchased him outright in the 3rd year. As he has been in the country for 3 years before 21 (21 now). However he is actually Serbian (United purchased him 1 year before I loaned him. Now I am in the post brexit rules scenario where the squad is allowed a maximum of 17 foreign players and a minimum of 8 players trained in england for 3 years. However when I add the player into the squad both the foreign count and english count goes up by 1. Surely it should be 1 or the other or would the player need an english passport? Thanks
  8. Hi Everyone. I'm currently having a tough time with the editor and was wondering if some of you veterans could help me. I'm attempting to create a custom team with a bunch of fictional players and no matter what I do, I just can't seem to get the engine to recognise any of them as home-grown, except those that are under the age of 21. I've pretty much made them all the same way, initially giving them 2000 days at my club, between the ages of 15 and 21. When that didn't work, I upped the number of days to 11,111, figuring that ought to ensure they had all been trained at my English club. But they still don't come out as home grown. Here are a few screenshots for one of my players. He's 25, born in England and has only ever played for my club. His main page, showing his basic information. His club contract. Days at Club/In Nation. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated as I'm absolutely tearing my hair out over this.
  9. Currently in my third season at Liverpool and just generally need help building a more English/British squad. I play a 3-4-3 possession based style. Had alot of success so there's some I just don't want to sell marked with *. Gk - Donna (Danny Ward bk) Rwb - Clyne* (TAA) Ball playing centerbacks - Matip, Gomez, Keane, Can* Lwb - Benat, Robertson Central midfield - Alli* Henderson*, Naby Keita, Wijnaldum* Attacking Midfield - Coutinho* Salah* Asensio* Siguurdson Chamberlain Strikers- Lacazette, Firimino, Origi Bought this summer: Donna, Robertson, Sold this summer: van Dijk(£60m), Karius(£30), Markovic(£9m) Open to selling Firimino as he hasn't been there great. Mainly looking for a center back due to being forced to Sell van Dijk who was amazing for me. This is generally to get more home grown players in but also with a view to taking the England job in a few years so would many of them to be Liverpool players as possible.
  10. In this game save I will try and win the Club World Cup with FC Vaduz (a club from Liechtenstein that plays in the Switzerland leagues) using only youth players. I will also try to win the International World Cup with Liechtenstein.
  11. i bought Donnaruma in my first season and I wanted to know how long is left for him to count as a homegrown player. It's my third season but he was loaned out in the first one so he spent two years at the club till now. Is there a way to know how many days he spent at the the club or how many days are left for him to be considered as homegrown?
