Hi. I am trying to change the purple(?) background of the sidebar and I cannot identify how it's controlled. It looks a little bit different this year.. I think there is another background behind the panels. I don't know. I've tried changing some values in the skin settings, I've tried adding red_replacement to some containers in client_object_browser with no result.

Football Manager 2022 Base Skin As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2022 you need to create a new skin. Thankfully over the last few years some more stuff has been moved out of the skins folder so you only really need the Base skin if you are wanting to edit the skin graphics, fonts or colours. If you want to edit the match graphics or the most of the panel xml files you no longer really need the base skins. So to make things easier for people I've put up a base skin that is identical to the default skin that comes with the game, so you can add new files/graphics to these without messing up the original skin, and anything that isn't located in these new skin folders will be taken from the default locations within the game. For Football Manager 2022 there is just the one Base Skin based on the Default Skin which is the Dark version this year, it is also possible that I may release a couple of alternative versions with different accent colours after the full release if I get a chance. A Light Skin will follow (with it's own thread) but again with no default light skin this year it requires more work, but should be quicker than last year. Base22 Skin This skin is based on the Default Football Manager 2022 Skin, and is identical in appearance to that skin. Though I have made two tweaks to the Player Profile screen, increasing the size of the badge and face on the attributes panel and re-enabling the Reports option in the Small Selector panels. Install Instructions When you extract the file you have downloaded you should have one folder named base22 and a readme text file. Now copy the folder into your skins folder within your User Data Location, by default this is: For Windows:C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2022\ For Mac: Users\[Your Mac Username]\Library\Application Support\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2022 If done right your skins folder should look something like this: And inside for example the base22 folder you should have the following folders: To select the skin in game you will need to load the game, and go into the Preferences Menu, then in the middle you should have a section called Interface and in that is an option called Skin with a drop-down menu under it. If you select the drop-down menu it should list all of the skins you have installed, if the skin you want is listed then just select it and press the Confirm button to load it. If the skin you want isn't showing. Then you can either select the Advanced option on the left and on the top right drop down select Interface, then scroll down the Skin section and untick Use caching to decrease loading times and tick Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences. Or in the search bar at the top type in Skin and in the listed results untick Use caching to decrease loading times and tick Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences. Then click Confirm at the bottom, this should then take you out of the Preferences menu but if you re-enter, it should have refreshed the list of skins and your skin should now be in the list. Once the skin is loaded you can turn the skin cache back on and untick the Always Reload button. For Advanced Instructions please see these below posts: How To Stop the Blurring Effect When Processing How To Enable Background Changes How To Edit The Fonts & Colours How To Edit the Font or Game Colours Football Manager 2022 Base Skin Download Page --- You are free to do what you want with these Base Skins provided: 1. Hi guys, As the title says, how do I increase player face size on profile overview? I know there's an XML file you can change for FM21 but I've copied across that FM21 XML for my FM22 skin and it isn't working.... Presume that's due to different coding? Anyone have an .XML file to do this for FM22? Or know which code I need to put in an .XML to do this on FM22? Just to clarify, this is on the "attribute" page on a player profile - to increase the size of their face picture. Thank you @michaeltmurrayuk not sure if this can be done on the beta?

Hi Everyone, I would love to know the name of this specific panel, not the Club Overview Panel, but the General Overview, can Someone help me to find it out so I can adjust it?

I am hoping that somebody can point me in the right direction. I want to change the colour of the bars that display how much knowledge you have of a specific Nation/Region. Obviously I want to change that on the Scouting Knowledge page but I would also like to change it on the Manager Profile page. Assuming that it is relatively easy to change, I would also like to change the colour of the Characteristic bars on the Manager Profile page. Would they change colour immediately if the Scouting Knowledge bars colour gets changed?

As you may know last year I've gathered all scatter graphs and polygons which we couldn't see many of them in game. Well I've tried my chance at that. this year too. So far I've found the ids for new momentum, pass map, and xg match story but unfortunately I guess they've changed the ids and classes for polygons. Does anyone know correct classes, categories and data_types for these?

Football Manager 2021 - Skinning, Modding and Graphics Knowledge Base Welcome to the latest version of the Skinning, Modding & Graphics Knowledge Base. This thread should over time contain links to the most important and useful threads in this sub-forum, however what I have also been doing over the last few years is tagging any interesting or informative threads with a skinning tag, so whilst I try and build up the content in this thread if you cannot see the answer to your question here or you are just starting out skinning then have a browse through the forum and open up any of the threads with a skinning tag which should give you some useful if random bits of skinning knowledge, whilst clicking on a tag should take you to any other threads that have the same tag so that should give you a starting set of threads to have a look through. Like in the past this thread will be split into several parts; How To Create Graphics Skinning Guides Links To Useful Threads Links To Useful Threads from Previous Versions Troubleshooting If you want the FM2021 thread then see this thread

With the FM22 Early Access Beta now out this thread will contain important information regarding Skinning and Graphics in FM2022. This thread will mainly cover any changes or issues that may arise from the Beta and will be slowly updated as information arises. Though for the most part it looks like most of the information from previous versions will still apply to FM22 unless otherwise stated so in the meantime you can still check out the older threads. Whilst if you need technical help then first check out the dedicated FAQ's provided by Sega and SI, if you have encountered a bug then please raise the issue for the new Bugs Tracker so it can be looked it and if you have any comments or suggestions about the changes made in FM21 then the best place to discuss them is in the General Discussion Forum as these are the most likely places that someone from Sports Interactive will see your comment.

Hello, does anyone know how to change the Teal colour of the selection of the players in this panel? Thanks in advance!
-
The new staff meeting panel - early days I know - but has anyone had a look at it or can tell me what it's linked to for transparency? It clearly shares colour/transparency with something else as when I'm using my skin it is probably 50% transparent - any idea what it's looking at in the settings? Seem to have the same problem with the Highlight/camera settings panel in match, so if anyone knows that one perhaps they're the same setting elsewhere in the skin?

See below Does anyone know how to fix this head to head section . Its ok in some skins and works in original but in Wannachup and Dark Polish skins it cuts the bottom team out .

Hi all, Does anyone know what controls/how I can change the colours here: In an ideal world, I'd like the bar to be the secondary team colour as I've made this panel quite visible on the player profile. Thanks!

Player name and pop-up button widget xml in Squad View List
BuzzR posted a topic in Skinning Hideout
If anybody knows, what is the widget xml that defines the player name and pop-up button in Squad View ? I've seen some skins adding a small player picture the the item, but I cannot find the right xml. Thank you. -
Hi folks. I'm trying to develop my own skin, based on what I got through the BaseDark skin available here for FM21. So far it has been possible to reuse much of the previous work, however, when editing some things, I noticed that I messed up the new price tag option that appears in the players attribute profile. If anyone knows, I would like to clarify two points, please: 1- Which file and which part of it should I work to recover the original layout (in gray)? 2- Is it possible to change the price tag color? Here's an image to illustrate my question a little better. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm sure this was an actual issue a couple of years ago but everyone found a workaround... You will notice the four panels on the right (2 small at the top and 2 big at the bottom) change whenever I move to another player: Thanks!

Hi, I am trying to set up Transfer Status and Loan Status labels on player personal details panel.xml and the widgets from player transfer information.xml do not work as intended. Version 1 doesn't show something on value label, and Version 2 show Not Set on value label but the player has the status Listed on transfer panel. I've also attached the player personal details panel.xml if necessary. Any help appreciated. Thanks. <!-- Version 1 --> <!-- Transfer Status --> <container class="vertical_label_value_pair" value_widget="TStaV" label_widget="TsL" gap="2"> <widget class="label" id="TsL"> <translation id="text" translation_id="227953" type="use" value="Transfer Status" /> </widget> <widget class="client_object_label" id="TStaV" font="value" size="small"> <record id="object_property" get_property="TSta" /> </widget> </container> <!-- Loan Status --> <container class="vertical_label_value_pair" value_widget="LStaV" label_widget="LsL" gap="2"> <widget class="label" id="LsL"> <translation id="text" translation_id="247489" type="use" value="Loan Status" /> </widget> <widget class="client_object_label" id="LStaV" font="value" size="small"> <record id="object_property" get_property="LSta" /> </widget> </container> Or <!-- Version 2 --> <!-- Transfer Status --> <container class="vertical_label_value_pair" value_widget="TStaV" label_widget="TsL" gap="2"> <widget class="label" id="TsL"> <translation id="text" translation_id="227953" type="use" value="Transfer Status" /> </widget> <widget class="transfer_status_label" id="TStaV" font="value" size="small"> <record id="object_property" get_property="TSta" /> </widget> </container> <!-- Loan Status --> <container class="vertical_label_value_pair" value_widget="LStaV" label_widget="LsL" gap="2"> <widget class="label" id="LsL"> <translation id="text" translation_id="247489" type="use" value="Loan Status" /> </widget> <widget class="loan_status_label" id="LStaV" font="value" size="small"> <record id="object_property" get_property="LSta" /> </widget> </container> player personal details panel.xml
