  1. It's back! The beautiful, sleek TCS skin returns to FM19 and this time, it comes with a version designed by the biggest FM content creator, WorkTheSpace! I worked closely with Jack to help sculpt and design the special edition of TCS, which doubles down on the purple scheme introduced in the base skins, as well as incorporating the key features of TCS, including a brand new Player and Club Overview Screen and sleek, dark UI! The WTS also features minor tweaks to a few panels to help model the skin to Jack's ambition! TCS'19 Highlights Sleek and Modern 'night-mode' skin Completely redesigned Player and Club Panels Brand new IBH and IBH Review Panels All panels darkened to make user experience more consistent Instant Result Button Three versions! Regular 'Night Mode', an Aero version akin to previous FMs and a brand new WorkTheSpace designed edition! V1.1 Overview: v1.1 in all essence is a massive bug bash, having not released a skin for a while I was bound to slip up and make a few mistakes, which i did, mainly leading to a poorer experience for players using the zoom function, hopefully that should be rectified with this new version. The main feature for v1.1 is the Aero skin has been completely overhauled, with new graphics for the entire skin being created and tweaked along with new graphics colours, the introduction of transparency (and reduction in some cases), to popups, and other panels should lead to a better user experience and offer a more consistent and higher quality skin. As well as this we've introduced a new background selector in the base + WorkTheSpace skin, along with a more advanced selector for the Aero skin, with big credits going to Bossland (YACS Skin) for letting me borrow code and concepts from his. v1.1 also sees the introduction of various panels for the selector panel. Changelist: Club: - Tweaked containers so the skin should resize better when Zoomed Inbox: - Changed slight insets on inbox panel - Zoomed graphics ammended for Inbox Panel when using Aero Skin. - Fixed 'inner' graphics on personal news when using Aero Skin. Player Overview: - Fixed Bug with translations on Player Overview. - Added two new comparison widgets to small selectors. - Added Player Status information to Personal Details widget (Contraced to X, On Loan at Y, etc) - Added Label to International Records on Personal Details widget. - Adjusted attributes container height on Player Overview Popup. - Adjusted container classes and heights on Player Training, and Dynamics page. - Added custom made Medical Report widget to the Attributes container. - Fixed bug when editing player attributes with the IGE, when using the attributes boxes mod. - Added custom made Transfer Status widget to small selector. General UI: - Complete overhaul with graphics for Aero Skin. - Added two Background Selectors - Base & WTS Skin, gives users the ability to choose between the default background and teams 'primary' background. -- Credit to Bossland (YACS Skin) for the code used for the Primary Background. --- Aero, functions like a regular background selector. - Increased size of bottom container for competition draws. - Skin should adapt better to zoom and/or smaller resolutions. - Changed appearance of menu dropdowns. - Added Background Selector to titlebar. - Fixed bug with picking buttons. - Fixed bug with text on manager home screen when unemployed - Added tcs-style container to medical centre to bring the panel inline with rest of skin. - Fixed bug on tactics screen with player instructions when using Aero Skin. - Fixed bug on tactics screen with image borders. - Fixed bug with font recolouring on the Main Menu when using teams who use white as their primary colour. - Fixed bug on the upcoming fixtures panel when using teams who use white as their primary colour. Match: - Fixed bunch of transparency bugs in Aero Skin - Added ticket to match preview. - Tweaks to in between highlights panel -- Graphics overhauled -- Added ability to compeletely hide formation or player stats on both sides More Screenshots: https://fmshots.com/album/5Auy I won't be providing any support for this skin apart from major issues, don't request features as they will not be considered. 2. Nexus Classic Skins for FM19 and FMT19 Details: New Dark Green Colour Scheme for FM & FMT New Fonts ("Lato" - SIL Open License Font) Removal of background fade effect and return to old style titlebar - this meant some minor changes to some panels. Should be relatively usable with other panel mods. Instructions in readme for FMT for how to change attribute box colours if you want to. Download: Football Manager Touch Football Manager Feedback Any feedback, suggestions let me know.
  3. UPDATE 1.1 RELEASED: Update 1.1 includes: - Improved look of titlebar - Improved manager “home” screen with rotating images (kits/logo’s/fixtures) - Lots of bigger faces in screens - Attributes selectors on player overview panels (show attributes with/without boxes) - Bug fixes and tweaks for a better overall experience - Compatible with 19.2.1 And lots of other improvements/enhancements! IMPORTANT: make sure you completely delete any earlier version and clean install the skin the skins folder. Overwriting the earlier skin versions can cause issues. This skin is optimized for HD resolutions (resolution of 1920x1080 windowed and full screen), other resolutions are not supported though some testers found "zoom" 90-95% to work well with lower resolutions. This skin wouldn't have been possible without the work of: Dasz8, Pikawa (CFM Skin), FLUT skin makers, Emil Debski (Vitrex skin (2016/2017), SirWill (Clinched Skin, 2017), OPZ, D_LO_, Wannachupbrew, Gunzo/FM Nation, Jovovich (Milla skin 2018), TheBantams/Rick Thorne (Andromeda skin). Recommended (not included) for use with this skin are: Facepack of your choice, Logo and kits packs, Cities megapack (showing city pictures in club screens), Stadium background packs. There is a "README" included (text and more detailed word document) that will answer most of your questions, as the name says, please read the file prior to answering questions, your answer might be in there. Please note that I will not be responding to requests for "technical support" if not bug related. Every year I get messages/PM's asking how to change the look of some panels or asking for help on taking some of the panels out and plugging it into another skin. Of course I will resolve bugs and other issues with the skin. FAQ: Q: How can I change the look of the player attributes (boxes around) or can you help with some changes I would like to make to panels? A: Please understand that it is impossible to follow up on every single request for "help". This forum is a great place to look for solutions or personal preferences. Q: Why are some of the screenshots different than the previous (BETA) screenshots? A: Some screens were adjusted/improved and some of the screenshots shown earlier are from my personal version of the Champions League 2019 skin. I edited this skin for personal use and I’m willing to share that version one-on-one with people who support my work (PM me for more info or click on one of the banners in the "start screen" or "preferences" screen). Q: Will there be future updates to this skin? A: Yes, SI usually makes changes to their coding when releasing updates to the game and as a result issues will need to be resolved. This skin was tested by a team of BETA testers but it is impossible to create a skin that is 100% bug free, I will release updates when needed. 4. Football Manager 2019 Base Skins NOTE: If you are using Football Manager Touch 2019 then please see the second post. As with most recent Football Managers for you to make certain changes in Football Manager 2019 you need to create a new skin. Thankfully over the last few years some more stuff has been moved out of the skins folder so you only really need the Base skin if you are wanting to edit the skin graphics, fonts or colours. If you want to edit the match graphics or the most of the panel xml files you no longer need really need the base skins. So to make things easier for people I've put up some base skins that are identical to the default skins that come with the game, so you can add new files/graphics to these without messing up the original skins, and anything that isn't located in these new skin folders will be taken from the default locations within the game. For Football Manager 2019 you have three skins to choose from the Default skin, the Light skin and the Dark skin. Base2019 Skin - This is the Default skin and is based on the Default Football Manager Skin. Base2019 Dark Skin - This is the Dark Base Skin and is based on the Football Manager Dark Skin. Base2019 Light Skin - This is the Light Base Skin and is based on the Football Manager Light Skin. Change Log v1.1 21:56 GMT 1st November 2018 - Updated all three to the release version. Includes changes to various colours across each of the skins and updates to the font files for the Dark and Default Skins. Install Instructions: When you extract the file you have downloaded you should have one folder (with a name starting base19...) and a readme.txt file. Now copy the folder into your skins folder within your User Data Location, by default this is: For Windows:C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\ For Mac: /Users/[Your Mac Username]/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019/ For Linux: /home/documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019/ If done right your skins folder should look something like this: And inside for example the base19_light folder you should have the following folders: When you load the game up if the skin cache is off any skins in the skins folder should appear in the skins menu like the below image: NOTE: FMT skins will only appear when you are playing the FMT mode and normal skins will only appear when playing the normal mode. If the skin cache is on you'll need to turn it off, exit the Preferences menu and re-enter it and any new skins should appear, if not tick 'Always Reload Skin on Confirm' and change skins, click confirm and go back in and your skin should appear. How To Stop the Blurring Effect when Processing FM2016 introduced a new feature where when the main screen isn't the focus of the screen it blurs out, however if you don't like this effect it is simple enough to disable it, to do this simply browse to the following location within the Base Skin you are using: \graphics\boxes\dialog\background Inside will be a paper.xml file open that and locate this line: <boolean id="blurred" value="true"/> and change it to read: <boolean id="blurred" value="false"/> How To enable Background Changes Whilst FM19 directly supports background changes this year the default graphics aren't transparent enough to see the background in most places so you'll also need to download and apply this mod to the Base Skin you are using: To Edit the Fonts The font settings are now controlled by the various files located inside the fonts folder. For the base skins I have included all the default font files to save you having to go look for them. To edit the fonts its just a case of changing the various variables declared in the xml files, whilst to change the actual font you copy the font you want to use to the font folder and then update the font names in the xml files to match your new font. To Edit the Font Colours The colour settings for each skin are controlled by the settings.xml file located inside the settings folder. For the base skins I have copied in the relevant coding for you to change the various colours used by the skin – you just need to open the settings.xml file and locate the relevant line for the colour setting you wish to change – the colour names and comments should explain what the majority of the colours control. The colours are declared in RGB values, that range from 0-255 where Red=255 Green=255 Blue=255 is white and Red=0 Green=0 Blue=0 is black. To locate the RGB value of a colour you want to use you can either use a image editing program to obtain the RGB Value of the colour or type rgb values into google and it will bring up several websites that list the RGB Values for various colours. Note that whilst this file contains most of the text colour settings, some items are hard-coded, others are determined by the individual xml files and some others are set by the xml files in the fonts folder. Also if you have the Skin Cache on you can change some of the colours directly through the game from the Preferences -> Interface-> Skin Colours screen How to Recolour the Game Colours Like with the font colours these are now controlled via the files found in the settings folder, and are changed in the same way as the font colours. For the base skins I have copied in the relevant coding for you to change the various colours used by the skin – you just need to open the settings.xml file and locate the relevant line for the colour setting you wish to change – the colour names and comments should explain what the majority of the colours control. For your changes to take affect If you have made any changes to the base skins (colours, fonts, graphics) to get your changes to show you’ll need to go into the Preferences -> Interface Menu and untick ‘Use caching to decrease page loading times’ if it is ticked and then tick ‘Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences’ then click confirm and your changes should be applied, if you have previously ticked and unticked the required boxes a 'Reload Skin' button should appear in the bottom left corner, if this button appears you can click that if the Confirm Button is greyed out.
