Football Manager 2019 - Match Screen Mods Welcome to my Match Screen Mods for Football Manager 2019 I have reworked them this year rolling them into one mod whilst offering more flexibility and some more user friendly customization. The mod this year incorporates the main Match In Between Highlights mod with the various Match Review Screens. The IBH panel and its Review panel have both been expanded out to eight panels this year, with each of them fully re-sizable in game by grabbing the divider between the panels and dragging it until you get the size you want, you can also drag the divider to the corner of the screen to fully hide a panel if you don't need all of them. For the Half-Time and Full-Time Review Panels these are largely the same as last year with one selectable panel on the left and two on the right. I have also added in some alternative views for the Overview, Match Stats and Formation which can now be selected like the other views via the drop-down menus in the top right corner, I've also re-worked the Player Rating panels these now use the Full Panel but with the Basic view added in and you can change the views by select the drop-down box on the left of those panels. And like last year there is only the need for one version of the mod regardless of which skin or even which mode of FM you are using, though some of the information or screens might not show up in the Touch Mode as it doesn't support the same data as the full mode. And as always outside of the match screen this mod make no changes, so it should be compatible with any skin that hasn't already altered these panels. Screenshots Installation Instructions For Full Mode Version: If you are using the default skins: - Place the panels folder into your User Data Location which by default is: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\ If you are using a custom skin: - Place the panels folder inside the folder for the skin you are using, by default this will be: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\skins\<skin_name>\ Then from the Preferences -> Interface Menu turn off the skin cache and reload your skin for the changes to be loaded. For Touch Mode Version: After unzipping place the panels folder inside the folder for the skin you are using, by default this will be: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019 Touch\skins\<skin_name>\ If you are using one of the default Touch Skins then you will need to download and switch to one of the Base Touch Skins. Then from the Preferences -> Interface Menu turn off the skin cache and reload your skin for the changes to be loaded. To change the item shown in each panel just select the drop down arrow in the top right hand corner of each panel and select the view you want. So if you want to change the Left Panel from the Overview to the Match Stats view, just select Match Stats in the dropdown menu. You can also adjust the width of the columns in game by dragging the dividing line left/right, unfortunately you cannot adjust the height split of the right panel as the game wouldn't store the status. If you want to change the appearance of the content that appears in the individual menus then you will need to follow the instructions in the Advanced Instructions section below. Any problems let me know I gave it a quick run through several games and didn't see any issues, also I haven't tested it on Touch Mode but it looks like Touch Mode uses the same files so it should work. Advanced Instructions These are largely the same as last year so if you used last years version you should know what to do. How to Enable Different Views How to Adjust the Size of the Panels How to Change Kit/Logo & Text Sizes on Overview View FM19 MATCH SCREEN MODS DOWNLOAD PAGE Change Log v1.1 14: 36 3rd November 2018 - Removed custom columns option from Player Ratings as left by mistake. - Switch IBH Both Team Stats to use the correct incidents file on top. ---Redistribution Terms You are free to post this content to your website provided: 1. Football Manager 2019 - How To Add a Manager Picture Like with the last few versions Football Manager 2019 no longer allows you to add a picture to your manager instead encouraging you to use the Facegen system. However last years mod still works so at the moment you can add a manager picture with a bit of work though it may be disabled again in a patch and still has the same limitations as last year. Thanks to some work from Cyrius50 at www.manager-online.fr it is now possible to add a Manager Picture when adding your Manager to the game, however it isn't possible to apply the picture to existing profiles nor to change the image so make sure you are happy with it before applying it. When you have installed the mod on the Add Manager panel select either Edit Profile or New Profile, then on the Profile screen you should see a new option above the Social Networks as in the below picture: Clicking on 'Choose Picture' should take you to the file select popup, from here browse to the location on your hard drive where your image is selected and select the image, in the below example I have selected an image of the FM19 logo imposed on a red version of the default face. Once that is done fill in the rest of your profile as normal and continue through the profile settings and once you are into the game your image should now be showing: Again this method has it's limitations: - You cannot assign a picture to an existing manager, if you want an existing manager to have a picture you would need to retire that manager and create a new one to take over but you won't be able to keep any of your in-game progress. - It isn't possible to change the image after the profile has been created so make sure you are happy with the image before you get too far into your game. Whilst you can now edit your manager in game this feature doesn't allow you to change the profile picture nor will editing the face here override the set picture. - Also be aware this feature is unsupported and might be removed in a patch, also I have only tested to see if the image will appear I have no idea if it will cause any issues further into the game, so it is used at your own risk. Installation Instructions - After extracting the zip file you should have a panels folder and a readme. - If you are using the default skins then you can just place the panels folder directly into your User Data Location which by default will be: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\ If done right the contents of your panels\human folder which is located in the above location should look like this: - If you are using a custom skin then it is best placed inside the folder for the skin you are using, which by default should be: Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\skins\<skin_name>\ Where <skin_name> is the name of the folder for the skin you are using. If it wants to overwrite any files then you are best checking the manual instructions in the below post / linked pages below as it means the skin you are using has already customized the file used so you'll need to modify the file yourself. - Next load up the game and if the skin cache is on turn it off and reload your skin, then follow the above steps to add your picture. (Once you have confirmed the Add Picture box has appeared you can turn the skin cache back on). Also note that I haven't had chance to test it on the Touch Mode, however the coding doesn't really look much different so this file should work with Touch Mode, however with that you will need to install it within the files for a custom skin. Football Manager 2019 - Background Support Mod Whilst the Football Manager 2019 Dark and Light Skins support background images out of the box this year, the default graphics aren't transparent and there is no overlay so you either get none of the background image or the full thing. Whilst the Default Skin has an overlay that completely blocks backgrounds. This is a simple mod that increases the transparency of most of the boxes (to the same level as Touch Mode which you can see the backgrounds through them) and also adds an overlay to soften the background images so the game content stays readable. I have also included several files of different transparency levels so you can adjust the strength of the overlay yourself as a suitable level comes down to personal preference and also depends on the skin you are using and the backgrounds. It should also be compatible with most custom skins, especially ones that haven't touched the default box graphics. Installation Instructions. 1. After you have downloaded and extracted the zip file you should have a readme and a folder called boxes. 2. Place the boxes folder inside the graphics folder for the skin you are using, so if you are using the Base19 Skin then your graphics folder should look something like this: NOTE: If you are using the default skins you will need to download and switch to the relevant Base Skin for this mod to work. 3. After you have done that load up FM19 switch to the Skin you installed the mod inside and make sure the Skin Cache is off and press the Reload/Confirm button. To Adjust the Overlay Strength After installing the mod if you browse to the boxes\custom\background folder inside the graphics folder for the skin you added the mod to you'll notice several graphic files these are numbered by the level of opacity - 0 is fully transparent and 100 is fully solid. Whilst I have set the default level to 75 (same as the box graphics). To adjust this first rename the existing paper file to 75 then rename the file you want to use to paper, next make a copy of this file and delete the existing paper@2x file and then rename your copy to paper@2x. The @2x file is used for the zoom in mode. To get the game to read your changes make sure the skin cache is off and reload your skin and the changes should apply, it is then just a case of picking a level that suits you. To Change the Overlay Colour Inside the boxes\custom\background folder you'll also notice an xml file called !paper, this file controls the colour of the overlay however I have disabled it by default as the Default skin uses a different colour to the Dark/Light Ones. To recolour the overlay rename the xml file to paper then open it and locate this line: <colour id="red_replacement" name="ui_background"/> The name bit determines the colour of the overlay, in the default skin it is set to primary which gives it the same colour as the header for the screen you are on, however I have let it set to ui_background which is the value used by the other skins. To change the colour you can either change this value to a different colour name or you can open the settings file for the skin you are using and change the RGB value of the ui_background.
