  2. I made these panels for my own use, but maybe someone other than me will appreciate them. Or not. I'll upload them in case you do. You may do whatever you want with these for all I care. Personally I've injected them into another skin. Main changes: - player ratings widget now shows all kinds of player stats as well. The same goes for stats landing page, which shows all the stats from both teams at the same time. - player performance widget now shows both motivation and performance comment. - opposition instruction screen now shows a small tactics pitch on the right side and all the actual instruction on the left. All of them can be seen at the same time (and modified of course). Scouts star rating and preferred foot fields are also visible. - There's now a set piece view in the main tactics screen (both in and out of match), where you can see and change any instructions. 3. As with FM2013 we are again stuck with a hydrid TV-Classic mode match screen that still doesn't switch to previous panels when there are no highlights, instead we get a small In Between Highlights Panel that shows a tiny amount of information, thankfully this panel can be edited. Which is what these skins do they maximize the amount of space given to the In Between Highlights Panel. To make things easier for Football Manager 2014 I have turned the mod into Skins, further the panel has been modified to use the Adaptive panels which means it automatically resizes itself to fit the screen resolution you are using and will display extra panels at larger resolutions. There are currently two versions available for each of the Default FM2014 skins aswell as the FMC Mode skin. Normal - Maximizes the size of the in-between match highlights panel positioned in the centre of the screen and leaving space for the match feed notifications down the right. (For the FMC version some of the match feed overlays the panel even in this mode as the feed takes up more room in FMC mode). Wide - Maximizes the size of the in-between match highlights panel, but this time uses up the full width of the screen, this allows for more information to be shown at smaller screen resolutions, but the match feed items when displayed will cover parts of the top right side of the panel. I also plan on releasing an adjustable version (like the FM13 version) once I get it working. Outside of the Match each skin is identical to the base version it is based upon. NOTE: The dark version of the mod requiries you to have installed the Official Dark Skin which can be obtained through the Steam Workshop Know problems: - I've again re-enabled the Player Ratings panel however it still doesn't always update (not something that can be fixed via skinning), however with the extra panels you shouldn't need to use it unless your screen will only show one panel. Installation Instructions: When you extract the file you have have downloaded you should have one folder (name depends on which verson you have downloaded but should start ibh_adaptive) and a readme.txt file. Now copy the folder into your skins folder within your Saving (what used to be called the User Data) Folder, by default this is: For the full game: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\skins\ When you load the game up if the skin cache is off the skin should appear in the skins menu (name will depend on version you downloaded but should start Match Highlights) NOTE That FMC skins will only appear when you are playing the FMC mode and normal skins will only appear when playing the normal mode. If the skin cache is on you'll need to turn it off, exit the Preferences menu and re-enter it and any new skins should appear, if not tick 'Always Reload Skin on Confirm' and change skins, click confirm and go back in and your skin should appear. For advanced instructions see the below posts: How to Apply the Mod to Other Skins How To Enable Different Views How to Adjust the Size of the Panels How to Change the size of the Kit and Text on the Overview view Screenshots show a sample of available views and the panel at different resolutions, each version has the same views and panels enabled Default Skin Screenshots Default Wide Skin Screenshots Dark Skin Screenshots Dark Wide Skin Screenshots FMC Mode Screenshots FMC Wide Mode Screenshots DOWNLOAD PAGE FOR Match in Between Highlights Adaptive SKINS Steam Workshop Page for Alternative Download Link Change Log: Version 2.0 (18th December 2013) - Fixed problem with panel IDs caused by patch 14.2 Version 1.4 (18th December 2013) - Uploaded files to Steam Workshop. - Checked compatibility with patch 14.1.4 - Added back coding to automatically pause the match when changing views in each panel. - Included default 'match incidents small.xml' and 'match incidents overview small.xml' files to allow people to adjust overview screen layout. (Download page includes links to each file - you only need to pick the one you want). You are free to do what you want with these Skins provided (though please don't upload them to Steam Workshop as I will over the weekend if there are no problems): 1. You don't advertise them as being exclusive to your website. 2. At least one of the download links is free to access and download.
  4. This match preview panel was created by "Flut" and is included in his skin and the "Champions League" skin. In the past weeks I have received many PM's and requests in posts requesting to make this screen available for use in other skins. I have decided to create this download that includes the panels and graphics so you can transform the match preview screen in your own skin to the "ticket" version. See screenshots of how it looks like in the "Champions League" skin and when it is transferred to the "Bergkamp transparent" skin as examples: Download link: http://depositfiles.com/files/bk90xvb62 Extract the 7z file in your skin folder, it will add the graphics and panels automatically, overwrite when asked to do so. As always reload the skin, and when needed clear skin cache.
  5. So, this is a replacement for the Attribute Bars which SI removed in FM 2014. This is what it looks like: gray = low attribute orange = normal attribute green = good attribute blue = excellent attribute dark gray = unknown attribute This is what you need: 1. YOU NEED A CUSTOM SKIN (if you want the default skin, you can use Base Skin from here) 2. Download panels and extract archive to C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\skins\<skin>\panels https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11637939/FM/attribute_masking.zip 3. Download graphics and extract archive to C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\skins\<skin>\graphics\boxes https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11637939/FM/attributes.zip 5. Edit the skins settings file C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\skins\<skin>\settings\<skin> settings.xml: Search for the comment saying <!-- profile attribute colours --> Insert the following line below that comment: <colour name="hidden" red="255" green="255" blue="255" alpha="0"/> You can define the background colours by editing the colour-Tags containing "* attribute background". The colours I used above are: You can edit the threshold ingame via Preferences - Interface - Skin Colours. 6. Go to settings, clear cache and reload skin. Enjoy! Notice: there's still a section ingame where you can see the attribute values. That is in player search list, when you select an attributes category from the dropdown. As I don't use that view, it's not a problem for me.
