  1. for someone who is into football coaching, I’m kinda dissapointed. it’s really getting boring and hard to watch. repetetive. that’s Football Manager 2019. no matter what style or what formation I try on FM19 outcome are pretty much the same. most goals are from set pieces (both sides) , throw ins and short free kicks from almost the centre are the worst for set pieces, what is that stupid animation where players are literally walking in my penalty box meanwhile opposition is getting ball to the other flank without any problem - during short free kicks. and why players can’t make pass into the space when there is the actual space for that(he send it way off) but can make that almost-spinning direct pass pinpoint accurate? it seems that if it’s logic it doesn’t work for ME then crosses, in every match where I’m the favorite to win or when I’m dominating the game the are like 70/80/90 crosses for me, its really boring to watch, tried playing without wingbacks , my poacher tried 14 crosses in that match. poacher??? tried playing pep guardiola style, guess what is the income? too much crosses.does city attempt that much crosses? does barcelona? does anybody actually. answer is the no. it’s sick to watch my full back crossing and getting blocked non stop is SI gonna fix clearance bug? player can easily recieve the ball or clear it into the opposition half but they decide to “clear the ball” to the opposition player. it’s also annoying that players seems to never let the ball go out ot the play but decide to clear it with his stupid head and when u concede goal like this, is it really to blame tactic? with all this problems, ME is unplayable, most of the highlights (comprehensive) are from set pieces, it’s impossible to create logic tactic. or maybe just play without any instructions, west ham can do it :)

Hello Everyone, Im starting up a new save as, of course, myself meaning i'll be selecting professional footballer local level and national b license as I have that license and i am a free agent now after being released by Millwall on the basis im too much of a loose cannon (which is utter bs I HAVE PERFECT CONTROL OF MY EMOTIONS) as is implied by the fact its a RTG i'll be starting unemployed so wish me luck as i climb the hall of fame to be the manager ever
  3. Well I edited 3 unplayable countries and their leagues and teams, verified all and it's ok. Then I load all of them separately (because you can't add rules all in one) in career game setup->database->editor data files I check the 3 files confirm and start game. But here comes the problem, the kits of all the teams from first country are fine but the other two are in black and white. Why does that happen? I tried everything I think, even Merge in the editor and still.

Its the build up to FM2020 and i got a little challenge for everyone its a twist on the pentagon challenge and here are the goals You must win 4 of the 5 continental competitions and then you must win the continental competition of a continent with a national side and then if you really want the challenge you must win the continental competition you didnt win and the World Cup Rules: You must start with no qualifications Sunday league rep NO IN GAME EDITOR USAGE start unemployed Practice as much as u want on FM19 and come November 8th i wish you good luck
  5. FM 202x Universal Multi Cross X Platform CLOUD Save Support. I would love to see this feature feature implemented in FM. Imagine your at home playing FM on your PC Windows or Linux or Mac OS then you have to leave your home to travel to work or college. Whilst your on the train or tube or bus you pull out your Tablet or Phone Android/iOS and continue to play FM from where you left off to play that important cup game your so eager to play or finish off your last few games to end the season. I'm sure most of us have used other cloud based streaming services like Prime, NF, HU, Kys Go, etc. So we have experienced that luxury feature of watching something on your TV then continue where you left off and watch the rest of it on your phone or tablet or vice versa. Another game such as MC and Realms boasts this feature and other similar features as described above where as you can play on your PC then Continue on your Tablet or Mobile or Console as well as all playing together in the same world regardless of whatever device you are playing on pc, tablet, mobile, console etc. We are soon approaching the year 2020 and it is already evidently possible in the online world of gaming, we just have to implement it. Good things come to those who wait, I guess. Fingers crossed we see this implemented in a near soon release! I would love to know what you guys n gals think about having Universal Cloud Support on ALL devices. Please do Let us know your comments below. Cheers

So I have played FM for years now, and it only just occurred to me this morning while browsing my players favoured personnel tab that I realised, it's quite often that us the manager will become a favoured personnel of them but never have I seen a former or current team mate become one. The players have pre set favoured personnel as former team mates and friends but they never seem to add to that with current team mates or if you eventually sell them on, former team mates. I have strong partnerships on the field which doesn't really relate to off field relation for example Cole and Yorke, but the fact I have never seen this happen in my game between my players who have played together for years really does raise my eyebrow. Has anyone seen this happen? Or is this a potential over sight from SI? Or even perhaps a bug? Let me know. I'm really curious how this integrates with regens too, I have never done more than 5 seasons with 1 club since I like to change it up so maybe this does happen for regens?
  7. Hi all, I used the pre-game editor to create a team which I placed in English League Two. In my first season I won League Two and was promoted to League One, I was then promoted again to the Championship. I have since won the Championship but rather than being promoted 2nd and 3rd are being promoted, with the playoffs between 4-7. I've had no message to explain why I wasn't promoted. The game has worked perfectly up until this point. What could have gone wrong? Any idea how to fix it? Will buying the in game editor help? My stadium is 18,000 but I don't have undersoil heating- but I also can't ask the board to install it. I have passed FFP. Thanks!
  8. I am currently managing Harrogate Town in FM19 in the Vanarama National League. I have tried multiple tactics which includes my own 'Wings Of The Pheonix' tactic which had great results with Barcelona and even with Harrogate in Pre-Season but as soon as the season started, the team stopped scoring goals and the match went like there was no goal in the first half and then in the second half my team scores a goal and then either the opponents score a goal or my team doesn't score any more goal and it is never certain if my team will win the match or not. Now I know that it can happen in 2 to 3 matches but it has happened in each and every of the 16 games played so far irrespective of the opponent be it the worst team (York) or the best (Crewe). After this happened for a couple of matches, I decided to use a downloaded tactic by Total Football Fan (TFF) which was the 'TFF Conqueror' and still got the same results. I don't know if it some bug or is it my team. I must tell you that my team dominates every game as it takes 17 shots on avg. Per match and most of them being on target with my own tactic and even with the downloaded tactic however the strikers just don't seem to be hitting the shots towards goal or something. Any Hints or help will be appreciated. Thanks.

  10. Every time I open up FM 18 my cursor starts veering upwards and to the left when I am not even touching it. It is only when Fm18 is on. thanks for you help.

Adboards plus club and competition logos are provided at each level of competition. The Hong Kong facepack contains 693 images of existing players and non-players, 443 images of club officers, coaches, players and officials, and 96 generic faces. Six tiers are provided for promotion within the HKFA pyramid. HK Tier 1 approximates English Tier 5, the National League. HK Tier 5 and 6 approximates English Tier 9 and 10, the County leagues. Cup competitions are tier appropriate with the FA Cup open to all clubs in the pyramid. Four international competitions allow Tier 1 clubs to grow beyond the stature of the domestic league. Hong Kong is slanted towards academics rather than athletics. The youth system will see a significant number of usable newgens coming from the included school leagues. In reality, some recent youth stars are of expat and/or mixed race origin, and there will be usable newgens coming from non-league and/or expat based local regions. Actual Hong Kong football is dominated by a small number of underwriter supported clubs. The provided databases flattens the revenue structure through a self-sustaining league position award system and opens transfer avenues to undervalued nations. The revamped youth system allows smaller teams the opportunity to grow talent and increase their stature, before being poached by larger clubs. Because Hong Kong football is weighted towards the elite few, my gameplay experience in FM16 and 17 saw an easy ride through the middle tiers. To increase the challenge, I balanced the league by adding new players and staff to all existing tiers of the pyramid. These additions are in separate files: one can play with only the league structure, only new officials and staff, or only new non-players and experienced players, or only new officials, non-players, experienced players and new players up to tier 4. Tier 5 introduces a new division made up entirely of expatriate clubs. Such leagues exist in HK at the amateur level. The new tier extends and enhances the actual situation. Tier 5 is optional, but adding it and the accompanying 860 youthful facepack images will extend enjoyment of this challenge without a proliferation of regen faces. Tier 6 represents the actual amateur leagues, of which I have included the most successful teams from The Legal, Union and Yau Yee Leagues. Hong Kong is the world's most expensive real estate market; land is at a premium. Where possible, 7-a-side fields are utilized as reserve stadiums and training grounds.   13. Good afternoon. I played online against 2 colleagues in fm 2019, the owner of save decided to get my coach to download my tactics and use it ... How was it possible for him to take over my coach while I had my password? He did not know my password. I think it's unfair for the owner of save to be able to take control of the other coaches so that he can see tactics, training of others ... and so others are at a disadvantage. Best regards
  14. In the footballing world, Pre Season is one of the most important & chaotic periods in a clubs season …. Training camps, enduring transfer saga’s, board meetings and of course the lucrative friendlies to please the commercial partners. In Football Manager, I cant help but feel that Pre Season is no more than a few clicks of the "Continue" button, with the odd player transfer thrown in (should you have enough money) and maybe a week long training camp to Spain which has no real effect on the game itself. Would it be at all possible for the Pre Season madness of the real world to be simulated in the Pre Season world of Football Manager?? Below are some of the ideas I feel would help blend the two worlds together. 1) MID SEASON BOARD MEETINGS TO DISCUSS UPCOMING SUMMER: Board suggest friendlies based on commercial requirements. (We would like to play against either Club A, Club B or Club C in the USA as part of our commercial obligations) Board suggest Training Camp locations based on commercial requirements. (Please select which two weeks you would like to spend in China as a result of our commercial obligations) Pre Season tournaments with added income (We have been invited to play in the X Cup in Australia) *The results of these meetings to be kept in place even if the manager is removed from their position. (a similar situation happened when LVG was unhappy with Man United's pre seasons plans that were put in place by the previous manager/commercial requirements) 2) PRE SEASON INTERVIEWS: Interviews whilst on Training Camps or Pre Season Tours – reflect on upcoming season or latest in-game transfer/football news. 3) TRANSFER IMPROVEMENTS: Clubs transfer activity is often impacted by other clubs Pre Season plans. (Club A has to wait for Club B to return from tour in China before continuing negotiations) Players arriving for medicals! In today's world, players jetting off around the world for a Pre Season/Mid Season medical is big news. (Player X arrives for Club A medical) or (Player X jets in for Club A medical) Would love to hear your thoughts, responses and/or feedback on these suggestions. Regards.
  15. I think the game should have an oppurtunity to be an assistant manager. It would be a great way to the newer players to learn the game and make a step up to the managerial position when they full that the time is right

  17. It would be really great if the Editor had support for saving filters. I find that I reuse a lot of the same filters (same as the game... go figure) and so it would save some time and effort if we could have those templates handy to pull up from previous sessions.
  18. Hi guys, I was wondering if anybody else has been frustrated with this years individual training, I've been. You can't make a player work on the majority of his attributes, and some of them are important like heading, jump, etc. I like how you can work on various attributes but at the same time most of them are left out. I don't know if they'll change that in a next patch but it's really frustrating me at the moment.

  20. So, a week ago I was playing fm16 as Bharat FC (Indian National Football League). In my team, there was one thing I noticed most was that stats didn't really matter! For example- A ball playing defender with defend duty has stats like - Tackling-8, Marking-6 Anticipation-10 and other attributes even worse plays better than another defender with same role and duty and attributes like Tackling-11 Marking-13 Anticipation-15 and other attrubutes also better than the above. Similarly, in Forward, two deep lying forwards play together, one has stats like Finishing-4 Dribbling-5 Acceleration-11 Stamina-10 Pace-14 and the other has stats like Finishing-9 Dribbling-6 Acceleration-10 Pace-12 and former has scored around 30 goals this season whereas the latterhas scored just 8. Notice that in both the cases the age of the players are same
  21. So basically love the game. But half way through the first season. Can't buy loan, get free agents. Can't do contacts either. I have redownloaded and downloaded it again about 3 times.
  22. Just watched the Alpha play through on YouTube. Thanks to the team for sharing it with us, was great to see. Thought it would be good to put my thoughts/observations in a thread for people to comment on and critique. Brief summary of things I noticed: Positives The new tactics system is an easy "guide". The styles of football could be replicated in previous versions, if the right instructions were used. Having said that, I do like it more now. I did not see any of the transitions in play - maybe I will be proved wrong when I see more comprehensive highlights of the match engine. Perfect for the new player, but has lots of depth for those FM old-timers. Training looks interesting - more emphasis now on dynamics and specific attribute growth etc. Probably the biggest and best change. VAR - its fun, and will be good to see where it applies. Induction - not relevant to me, but good for new players. Bundesliga licence - don't usually play Bundesliga, but I may do it this time around. Licensing is always good for FM. Constructive Criticisms UI - I wish they would focus less on things like colours and just make it easier to navigate. I have never had an issue with the new UI (since the sidebar) or colours. This version will have far too many hidden pages/too much info. I think the game needs a big cull of unnecessary pages, graphs, etc. I don't care for features like different colours for ratings in game. In my opinion, it just seems like wasted time where SI labour could be used on bigger and more landmark features. Match Engine - I play on 2D Classic, but the 3D looks virtually the same. I would rather have fixed goalkeepers and player animations etc than ball physics. Stadium upgrades are welcomed. I would love to one day play with the 3D engine all the time, but it does not feel real enough for me at the moment. Dynamics - I really did not feel a difference between '17 and '18 when it came to squad dynamics. Everything that affected dynamics did not change (conferences, feedback, mentoring), so the experience was not translated to the player. All I do in FM 18 is see it on a new screen and use the same responses/team talks when there is an issue. Are player promises fixed? Press conferences - all the same except for faces and background, people will get bored and leave to the assistant. Before match plans - I think many players will leave to the assistant. No real changes except a reskin, although it does look simpler in parts. Pre-match/half time talks - they all generate the same responses as FM 18. Players will learn what and when to say something. Transfers - no mention whatsoever of AI transfer dealings and fees etc. has the finances section been changed in anyway? All in all, with the exception of tactics and training, SI seem to be re-skinning and fixing issues that were created by the previous iterations of FM, rather than revolutionising the match engine, which has to be the next focus IMO. They listened, and have fixed the glaring gaps that FM 18 has. It may seem as though I listed more negatives, but I will be buying the game nevertheless. Let me know your thoughts.
  23. When you continue the game, you get stats and results from fixtures while waiting for the game to process, which is a great feature. However, I get stats and results from leagues I don’t care about. Is there a way to personalise the stats and results shown to me on that screen? (FM17). Thanks.
