  1. Would be nice to see an option to automatically reject all transfer offers with selling team wage contribution. AI teams are really abusing this clause in FM19. Now it's needed to manually check every offer and it makes pointless any automated responses. Probably the same can be said about non-negotiable offers. Annoying abuse. I'd like the possibility to reject them all automatically. Edit: reducing the number of non-negotiable offers by AI teams (to zero?) is probably the easiest and fastest solution for both problems.
  2. Hi all, I think that they should add, in the upcoming versions of FM a pre-season player talk, that would occur after pre-season team talk. Like you would do in a regular company and in some football clubs, you first decline your objectives to the squad and then you set individual goals. You should be able to have several meetings with players that you chose to tell them individually what you think of their previous season, what do you expect from them for the upcoming season and be able to bond with them, along with increasing their thrive to success. Cheers from France for this truly amazing game you come up with every year (eventhough i won't beat the 2900+ hours of game on FM 12), and keep up the good work.
  3. [Suggestion] Hi, I’ve been playing as TNS in Wales in my save and TNS are by far the top club in the Welsh system. On next year’s version, I think it would be a good idea to incorporate the biggest clubs from minnow nations being able to transfer to a higher profile neighbour’s league system. For example: A top Welsh premier side joining the English league system; a top Andorran team joining the Spanish league system etc.
  4. My two suggestions. Firstly an auto save AFTER every game option. We all know how awful it is to lose a good win because your game freezing. The other suggestion is for the game to remember the leagues that I select when setting up a new game. Pre selected game start settings.... So when I start a career I always have 15 nations or so active but as 'view only'. It would be good if the game remembered this so that I don't have to fill it out every time. Or an option so that I can save a set up configuration to make it quicker to start a game?
  5. I think it would be a great idea if there's an option to change tactical shape in the game. Like for example our formation is 3-4-3. The shape will change when we're on defending, like from 3-4-3 to 4-4-2 for some reason, or 5-3-2. It really could be a game changer.
  6. Hi! Summay: Specify, or draw in some way, how to pressure the opponent team in detail. Most of the times I do not want to press a certain player, one of the CBs or a FB. I know I can achieve this by setting opponent instructions on the specific player (close down -> never) but the way my attacker handles this instruction is not effective at all. They just sit and wait whereas I would like to see the player taking distance, but covering the passing line to another player close to him. E.g. Do not close down the opponent LCB. My RW would pressure the opponent LB, my LW would pressure the opponent RB and my ST would cover the passing line to the opponent RCB and the midfielders would take care of the midfielders in a similar way. I feel a pressure system in greater detail could really show the greatness of a football manager. What do you folks think?
  7. Hi! Summary: Play a different formation when attacking than when defending. Say you manage a team and you fancy a 5-3-2. For the sake of this example you implemented this 5-3-2 with two wing backs who want to go forward. The problem with this, in my opinion, is that I do no want both wing backs to go forward at the same time. In order to create a dynamic play style I want to see one of the wing backs go forward and the other one to sit, depending on on which side the ball is or in the case of a counter attack which wing back will most likely be involved. The players are now lined up as a 4-4-2, but the entire formation is out of shape. I want the midfield to properly line up as a 4 men midfield, so the rcm goes more wide. I want the defense to properly line up as a 4 men defense, so all go a bit to the left. When the opposition has the ball again, the players line up as a 5-3-2. What do you folks think?
  8. Are there any editors, either pre-game or in-game; official, free or paid, for Football Manager Touch 16 or 17 on a Windows PC? I want to get into FMT as I don't have time for FM. The pre-game editor is one of my favourite features but (correct me if I'm wrong) this isn't available for Touch. As FMT17 is only just out, I know there isn't likely to be anything yet so what about FMT16?
  9. It seems bizarre to me that SI waits until just weeks before release to reveal any sort of information about the upcoming game. I don't think I've ever seen another studio market their game in such a deliberately obscure way. It's frustrating to not have any idea of what a game is until it's on your doorstep. Why do this SI? The only reason I can think of is that they want people to just blindly pre-order so that they are already on the hook in the event that their is an underwhelming response to the new features and gameplay. What do you guys think? Is there some marketing principle I am missing here? It just seems so absurd to me. Surely they have a pretty clear idea of what the upcoming game is going to be a few months in advance.
  10. I ran into a problem. So I like to manage things every so often and just let the game sim while I'm doing something else on my computer. When I would go to the menu I would go to the profile tab and underneath "Go on Vacation" was "Relinquish Control on Client". Each time you would hit space bar, after around a minute the game would go forward around a week. Once I ended up deleting that save, when I went to use that feature with the next game I didn't find it. It simply disappeared. I don't know what happened to it. Does anyone know how I can access it again? Thanks if you help!
