So I have played FM for years now, and it only just occurred to me this morning while browsing my players favoured personnel tab that I realised, it's quite often that us the manager will become a favoured personnel of them but never have I seen a former or current team mate become one. The players have pre set favoured personnel as former team mates and friends but they never seem to add to that with current team mates or if you eventually sell them on, former team mates. I have strong partnerships on the field which doesn't really relate to off field relation for example Cole and Yorke, but

Hi All, I've created a custom squad for Newcastle to play in the Premier League and the Dynamics in the team is Abysmal at the start of the season. Tried to affect it with making all players english and changing their history to have played 2 years for the club (this is only visible in the editor), but no effect, the team has the worst Dynamics in the league. Any ideas how to change this?

I really like the dynamics feature and the links it has to other parts of the game such as tactics. Player partnerships are a really good thing, but unfortunately they start to build just at the start of the game - even though some players may be playing togeher for several years successfully. As posted in the FM18 beta bugs forum by @ralfinho1234, Ribery and Alaba (for example) are playing on the left for Bayern for years now and still start as an untested partnership, whereas the newly signed James is regarded to be bonded more closely to Alaba. It would add massively to the depth of th

Ok can anyone shed some light on this as its starting to drive me a little insane! I started a new game as an American Born Coach, I started unemployed and managed to get the job of Barcelona B Coach after their previous coach had basically been sacked leaving them to 19th place and from 19th I've won 15, lost 7 drawn zero - scored 30 for and 18 against jumping all the way up to 5th. The conditions of my contract were - battle bravely against relegation which so far I have done. From the Dynamics side of things my Manager is advising that: Dressing Room Atmosphere is Very Good

Not sure if this is mentioned elsewhere, I did look. It would add to the immersion if you could build closer relationships with staff. It's very common these days for a manager to have an assistant, coaches etc that generally work together as a unit. The ability to form these groups would be a great improvement. Potentially you might have a coach or two at your club that you've agreed in advance will follow you should you move, it could be a larger group including an Assistant that you worked with once before at another club etc. Also, the ability to speak with staff once you've

Can't keep squad happy with training
StormenDK posted a topic in Football Manager General Discussion
Ok, so I am a little frustrated with my players, and I am unsure of whether my lack of understanding of new changes is affecting my players too much. They seem to quietly complain constantly about especially training as well as squad composition. So I start a game as Bath City (as always). The club is part time, so I get between 1 and 2 training passes per week, depending on how many games I have. So I am quite limited in my ability to make everyone happy with training. It is now end of August, and I already have 11 players unhappy about training, and 15 dissatisfied with management. -
Can anyone advice me on how to sell a team leader without causing a dressing room meltdown? I'm into the fourth year of my real Madrid save and I want to get rid of marcelo. At the moment nobody wants him and I'm wary of transfer listing him or offering him to other clubs. I already bought in a replacement and with the strict registration rules in Spain, I have no space left for him. Any suggestions?
