Now I was always led to believe that when someone was on here complains about losing a match and their team had had 30 shots to 5 it was because their own team was shooting from distance and not actually creating good chances. Well this version of FM seems to go completely against that as I create more CCC's than the opposition nearly every match yet still manage to lose as much as I win. Now it cannot be my tactic as when watching the highlights the chances my strikers are missing are very clear and open one on one's where 9/10 they shoot extremely tamely at the keeper. It's now genuinely starting to make playing the game extremely unenjoyable, below is some stats from my last months games and it is the same for every month. Really does feel as if the AI just cheats against you now as they constantly blast the ball in from all angles every match. CCC's 1st game - Me 3 B'mouth 0 2nd game - Man City 1 Me 1 3rd game - Me 5 Burnley 0 4th game - Me 3 Stoke 0 5th game - Me 4 Newcastle 0 6th game - Me 6 Man Utd 3 7th game - Me 6 Norwich 3 (I'm Notts Forest)
Into my 5th season with Young Boys and each season a reoccurring issue is that I’ve had the issue of not converting enough touches into goals (see the picture attached) - 195 touches and only 4 goals seems crazy! I play a 4-2-3-1 tika taka style where I dominate possession (see picture attached) Can anyone help in addressing this issue? I have changed training in the past in terms of adding in more chance creation and conversion but doesn’t seem to have that much effect Thanks!
So I decided to give cleon's 3-5-2 a go with Blackburn, as I struggle to come up with ideas on my own - and the tactic suited my players really well. However, from scoring lots of goals the first few games - my strikers are now refusing to score goals. Even though I have won all 9 games in the league so far. Headers from 2ft out, 1 on 1 with the gk etc. I just can't understand what's wrong. If they never got any chances, I would understand - but it's several chances per game. And the finishes aren't even close. Dunno where to start to analyze what's wrong!? Is it confidence, do I need to talk to them? They are usually nervous in-game, and telling them to calm down or "no pressure" doesn't seem to help at all. Or is it most likely tactical, and me not spotting something wrong in-game? I mean, even I could've scored some of these chances...
