  1. Staff in 'charge of hiring staff' is not hiring anyone! Please fix this, this has been going on for one month.
  2. Looking to start an online game, hopefully we can get enough interest
  3. Hi all, I signed a 19 year old through a deal my Head of Youth Development put together and when everything was finalised the player was automatically added to the Under 23s squad, however, I am completely unable to find where this squad is?! I have an U18s squad which is readily available, but the U23s is nowhere to be found! Has anyone else come across this same situation or have any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated!
  4. I’m attempting to create a club using the full editor in FM19 and I am 90% complete but have a few nagging issues I can’t seem to solve. Any help would be much appreciated! 1. Data Analyst facilities. I can’t find where I can give my club data analyst facilities. When I start the game my club has no data facilites which obviously isn’t ideal. I can ask the board to improve but I would simply prefer to start with something. 2. U23/U18 competition. I entered my club in sky bet league 2 by replacing a current team. This worked fine for the senior team but my junior teams only have friendlies scheduled. Do I also need to use the full game editor to assign my junior teams a competition as well? 3. Club badge. I am happy to use a generic club badge but would like at least minaml input (like when using the in game create a club feature). Where can I do this in the editor? Thanks in advance!
  5. I'm playing on a Huewai p10. Everytime I play my game will crash. Most of the time it is mid-way through a game simulation, although not always. Some times it crashes just on the game interface after I have loaded my game. After the inevitable first crash (within 10 mins) the second time I load it usually plays for a few minutes longer, but will definitely happen again. I have no idea what to do to solve this, but it has made my game unplayable. The game will just exit without warning, no pop up saying app closed or anything, it just closes and I end up on my app screen.
  6. US Granville I recently started a save game with US Granville. The choice of the club is quite simple: during my holiday last summer, I fell in love with the region Normandy. We were on a campsite near Granville, so I saw their stadium almost every day. That’s were the idea started to start a savegame with them in Football Manager. First some background information about the club, thanks to Wikipedia. History Union Sportive Granville, commonly referred to as US Granville or simply Granville, is a French football club based in Granville in the Lower Normandy region. The club was founded in 1918 and currently plays in the Championnat National 2. This is the fourth tier of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and the Championnat National. Granville share a partnership with nearby professional club SM Caen.[2] In season 2015–16 they had a fantastic run in the Coupe de France, eventually losing in the quarter finals against Olympique Marseille (0-1). In 2018, Granville beat Girondins de Bordeaux 2-1 in extra time, on 32e of Coupe de France. Youth only This will be a Youth Only based save. I allow myself to buy back academy players who I’ve sold. But I won’t buy any other players. Although I’m inspired by the likes of @optimusprimal82, @Jimbokav1971 and @_Ben_,I will not post very detailed posts as them. I would really like to, but as English is not my native language, it’ll take too much time to write them. So I’ll just stick to short updates with a lot of screenshots. My mail goal: win the Champions League with US Granville. I know it is possible, as I won the CL in FM17 with IR (Iceland). I’m currently managing in the second season. In the next post I’ll show you how the first season went. From then I’ll regularly update during the season.
  7. Hi everyone, I am currently in my 7th season at Liverpool and I believe I have quite a strong squad at the moment. However, with most teams starting to park the bus against us, I am beginning to struggle with getting free flowing attacking moves going as I'm sure most others are as well. The problem I have is that play seems a bit too rushed but when I drop the tempo or mentality, I lose the penetration. It ends up with pointless and one dimensional crossing and shots from outside the box. I am winning consistently but the chances created are often not clear cut and the play is getting stale. I have tinkered around with various formations and trying to fit my best players but would now like to reach out to the community for ideas on how you would set up a tactic with all my best players (Mostly regens at this point). I definitely want to build the team around both Berard and Fernandes. Along with a peak Joe Gomez, TAA and Geubbels, I have quite a strong spine but just having trouble getting them to click. Any tips are appreciated!
  8. Hey everyone! My name is Sam and I've started a Football Manager YouTube channel called LinnetFM in recent months. I've been logging my progress on FM19 with a challenge entitled... Non-League To Premier League. As you can guess from the title, the point of the challenge is to take a team from the lowest playable league without touching the editor so National League North or South to the Premier League. For this challenge I've chosen Boston United as Boston as a town has a close affiliation to me and my family and as a kid I visited York Street quite a few times to watch games. As I write this post I am already 14 episodes into the series itself. Please check out the playlist link below and have a watch of the series. Would love it if you dropped comments on the videos as I'm still learning being a content creator and want to improve to produce as good a content as I possibly can. I post 3 videos a week, I post on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 5pm EVERY WEEK. Thank you for letting me waffle on! Hope to hear from you over on the channel. I will now keep the series updated on here and post the latest videos so you don't have to miss anything. Thanks everyone! Sam (LinnetFM) Channel - LinnetFM Playlist Link -

  10. Good Evening Everyone - I'm looking for a skin, that doesn't show attributes, something that would make the game a lot more challenging. You would have to look towards dynamics, training, and coach reports a lot more. I've been looking for a skin for a while now, however I haven't been able to find anything anywhere. I asked @Cleon on Twitter however I'm still very much searching. - Here's what I'm looking for https://teaandbusquets.com/blog/no-attributes-no-problem If anyone can link me a download link I would be over the moon. Thank you, rob.
  11. Hey guys. So for many years i have successfully installed skins for my fm games, also on this one. Updated for 19.3.0 Lower League Game Files for Hong Kong Editor Files Facepack & Logos Adboard XML Adboard Static Pictures Adboard Video Adboard Video Font File (if nameplates, shirt numbers disappear) Mirror Site on Google Drive (limited daily downloads, no preview) Mirror Editor Files Mirror Facepack & Logos Mirror Adboard XML Mirror Adboard Static Pictures Mirror Adboard Video Mirror Adboard Video Font File (if nameplates, shirt numbers disappear) The Hong Kong Database is a user-adjustable detail-rich lower league simulation. 10 separate editor files offer flexibility with the challenge level. Adboards plus club and competition logos are provided at each level of competition. The Hong Kong facepack contains 693 images of existing players and non-players, 443 images of club officers, coaches, players and officials, and 96 generic faces. Six tiers are provided for promotion within the HKFA pyramid. HK Tier 1 approximates English Tier 5, the National League. HK Tier 5 and 6 approximates English Tier 9 and 10, the County leagues. Cup competitions are tier appropriate with the FA Cup open to all clubs in the pyramid. Four international competitions allow Tier 1 clubs to grow beyond the stature of the domestic league. Hong Kong is slanted towards academics rather than athletics. The youth system will see a significant number of usable newgens coming from the included school leagues. In reality, some recent youth stars are of expat and/or mixed race origin, and there will be usable newgens coming from non-league and/or expat based local regions. Actual Hong Kong football is dominated by a small number of underwriter supported clubs. The provided databases flattens the revenue structure through a self-sustaining league position award system and opens transfer avenues to undervalued nations. The revamped youth system allows smaller teams the opportunity to grow talent and increase their stature, before being poached by larger clubs. Because Hong Kong football is weighted towards the elite few, my gameplay experience in FM16 and 17 saw an easy ride through the middle tiers. To increase the challenge, I balanced the league by adding new players and staff to all existing tiers of the pyramid. These additions are in separate files: one can play with only the league structure, only new officials and staff, or only new non-players and experienced players, or only new officials, non-players, experienced players and new players up to tier 4. Tier 5 introduces a new division made up entirely of expatriate clubs. Such leagues exist in HK at the amateur level. The new tier extends and enhances the actual situation. Tier 5 is optional, but adding it and the accompanying 860 youthful facepack images will extend enjoyment of this challenge without a proliferation of regen faces. Tier 6 represents the actual amateur leagues, of which I have included the most successful teams from The Legal, Union and Yau Yee Leagues. Hong Kong is the world's most expensive real estate market; land is at a premium. Where possible, 7-a-side fields are utilized as reserve stadiums and training grounds. This prevents existing pitches from turning into a soggy mess and delays the want of some clubs to build their own, which in reality, is an impossibility. 13. Arjen Robben retires as a football player "The injuries were too much for me. I'll be using the coming year to acquire badges up to the Continental B license. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) has allowed me to make use of their Fast Track programme, specially designed for former National Team players. If all goes well, I'll be done with my Continental B license on 1 May 2019. On that day, I'll assess the job market and see if there is a job that is right for me." Robben told Voetbal International.
  14. I’d been looking forward to my retirement. After twenty years as a professional footballer, I was more than ready to ride off into the sunset and run a pub in the age-old tradition of ex-players. As it happened, my retirement lasted all of two weeks before I was approached with an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down: the chance to go home. It still felt strange referring to Gibraltar as “home.” Although I was born here and, in the latter stages of my career, had made twenty-eight appearances for the national side, I had grown up in England. As a navy brat, it was mere luck that led to my being born on the Rock. My father was stationed here and my mother – ever the loyal wife – had followed him during his posting. We moved to Portsmouth when I was three, and nobody ever thought that I would return. I wouldn’t if it hadn’t been for football. I had barely come around from the post-retirement party hangover when the news that would change my plans broke: Hemel Hempstead Town had hit financial troubles. It popped up in the crawl bar on Sky Sports News and, for whatever reason, was the only thing on the screen my eyes could focus on. It was entirely useless information, but it stuck with me longer than it should have. I threw back a couple of painkillers and go back to bed for round two with whatever her name was. A couple of days later – I think – I was rudely awoken by the sound of my phone ringing. She was gone. I couldn’t remember her name. Probably didn’t ask for it – I rarely did. Or needed to. “What?” I grunted into the phone, a mixture of confusion, anger, and feeling like I’d been hit by a car. “Matty,” after a moment of processing, I figured out that it was my agent, Rick, “I’ve got an offer for you.” “I retired, remember? We had a talk, put out a press release, threw a party… Pretty sure you were there, mate.” “I was. They’re not asking you to play. They want you to manage.” “Who?” “Inter.” “Milan?” My mind instantly filled with plans of chasing models and gorging myself into retirement shape on the local cuisine. “Not quite.” A few days later, I was sitting in a fancy restaurant waiting to be interviewed. I don’t know how they even talked me into that, under the circumstances. The news had been bigger than I expected; the demise of Hemel had led to a takeover by a group of ambitious businessmen. In the space of a week – allegedly – deals had been done and the club now known as “Franchise 2” by a large segment of football fans was joining the Vanarama South: Inter Gibraltar were the newest members of the English footballing pyramid. The tiny footballing nation – the place where I was born – now had a representative in the English game. And here I was – Matty Walker, Gibraltar’s favourite footballing son – waiting to be interviewed to lead the project.
  15. I know, horrible pun, but basically, this is a really good fictional team from Richmond, Kentucky called "Richmond Wild" that I had a random dream about, and they were really good. So yeah. In the dream, they were an op Barcelona styled academy youth team located in Richmond (the best we have here is Javanon, Lexington FC, Chivas Lexington, and Kings Hammer). So that's really it. They have really good youth stats (20 to be exact) and the only reason I'm doing this is in FM19, there aren't any players that usually come from the state of Kentucky, so it would be nice for a change. The game generates wonderkids for the team, but the catch is you have to win the MLS or U.S. Cup in your first season (I think, there might be a lot of problems, so please tell me if there are any problems. Have not tested as of yet, so you will be the tester of the game, please comment and suggest and problems or recommended fixes for the challenge. GOOD LUCK MY FELLOW MANAGERS AND HAVE FUN!! The Kentucky Kompetetor.fmf What new things were created? I had to also create the city of Richmond and created 2 new stadiums (one is the college/university stadium located there and a high school stadium) For the university stadium, it never stated on their website its capacity, so I made a guess of 2000 (its really small anyway) Also, to all you pro graphics people out there, how would you implant this logo into the game for the new team? (I am a noob at skinning and stuff). (Also, yes, I know, it is an Arizona Coyotes logo, but that was the same logo that was on the club's kits in the dream).
  16. Okay, here I am, a basic, rookie, amateur editor for FM19, wanting to take on one of the biggest challenges (for me especially) to make an international super league. Now I have seen @krlenjushka make his FIFA Nations League for FM18. No one has attemped this for FM19. So let me be the one to take on this great challenge. One thing I might ask for is help along the way. A bit more of guidance honestly because I want to hone my editing skills to be up there in the ranks. Enough about me, here is how it will be set up IT WILL BE SET UP ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE FM18 COMPETITION, SO PLEASE DO NOT GO ON SAYING I COPIED @krlenjushka SETUP! 227 nations are arranged in leagues using latest FIFA rankings. 212 FIFA members + 15 non-FIFA nations. Games are played from January to December. FIFA Gold League - 13 nations - 1 relegated, 4 in relegation playoff FIFA Silver League - 12 nations - 1 promoted, 4 in promotion playoff ,1 relegated , 4 in relegation playoff FIFA Bronze League - 12 nations - 1 promoted, 4 in promotion playoff, 1 relegated , 4 in relegation playoff FIFA League 1 - 20 nations in 2 groups - 1 promoted, 1 relegated , 4 in relegation playoff FIFA League 2 - 40 nations in 4 groups - 1 promoted, 1 relegated , 4 in relegation playoff FIFA League 3 - 80 nations in 8 groups - 1 promoted, 1 relegated , 4 in relegation playoff FIFA League 4 - 50 nations in 5 groups - 3 promoted + 1 best ranked 4th team FIFA Cup of Nations - 227 nations in cup stage - single elimination - Final on neutral stadium U-21 leagues are arranged same as senior leagues There is only one itsy-bitsy difference, and that is Kosovo being a FIFA Member. So, in order to accommodate that, I will make the FIFA Gold League hold 13 teams so the lower divisions don't have to change in format. The cup may be a problem for me, but I will strive to make sure that it will work. Instead of me uploading on the spot, I will update you guys with screenshots as I go along. When I am finished, I hope the product is how everyone has imagined it to be!

  18. 19. Hey. I've just got the game and am trying to use a transfer update database from FmScout. Downloaded the database and put the files in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\editor data, but cannot see them when choosing a database for a new save. Ive tried different databases and none will work. What am I doing wrong??
  20. So, I decided to create a North Korean database with 3 working leagues, a national cup, and a supercup. While creating the database, I had to set the season update day like any normal custom database. The DPRK Premier League begins in December 1, and ends October 28. I put a break for all 3 leagues on the week of 4.25 (April 25, basically a North Korean sacred day). Buuuuuuuuuuuuut, the early preseason begins on October 15 and the start of the season is November 26. But like I said before, the season update is November 5. I feel like there is something wrong with this formatting, so I need somebody, or just anyone who is reading this to check all aspects of North Korea database. If you want to edit this database, you can mess around with it, but remember to actually test it and fix the database. If you actually fix the database, please keep these 4 things: Keep the season update day on November 5 Keep the break week for all 3 leagues on the week of 4.25 Keep the start of the season December 1 and the end of the season October 28 Leave the cups as they are Those are small things, but keep them the same. I'm only looking at how to fix the season update, and preseason thing. I have never actually made a database before, so you could expect some rookie vibes. North Korea.fmf
  21. I was wondering just now, what if there was a way to make a team based in, say America, but the team's regens are Mexicans. So basically, Team A is located and based in Country A, but Regens are from Country B. If that is possible, could someone teach me how to do it?
  22. Introduction (this can also be found on my blog at https://wordpress.com/view/fmmightyred.home.blog and I'll be posting updates via Twitter @FMMightyRed1) I’m not the best FM player by a long stretch, but I’ve been doing well with Liverpool and am starting to get bored. I don’t have enough time to do a long grind like dragging a club up from non-league so have been casting around for inspiration for something a little more challenging. I come up with the idea of holidaying until Christmas day and taking over at the club most rooted to the bottom of the league. I’m going to create a profile of an international footballer to avoid the dynamics penalties of being an unknown manager – mentally, I’m setting this up as an ex-international looking for a job and a relegation team being desperate enough to take a punt. My self-imposed rules are to take over at the club furthers from safety in the top league for whatever nations I’m running, I can only stay at the club for the length of my initial contract (I want this to be a serial challenge – can I become a ‘fixer’ for relegation threatened teams). I use a holiday manager and wait for the English, Scottish, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese leagues to get to 25thDecember. I’m only interested in taking a job in the top tier of any of these nations – and I’ve got to take a job at the team that is most adrift. Looking around it’s SPAL in Serie A – 8 points from safety with just two wins in 17 games (all 15 other games are losses!). SPAL were promoted from Serie C at the end of the 15/16 season and then promoted straight to Serie A the season after – last season they very creditably managed to stay up finishing in 17th. After being founded in 1907, SPAL have competed in Serie A 23 times in their history with their best place being 5thin 1959-60 – also reaching Coppa Italia in 1962. More recently, the club went bankrupt in 2005 and 2012 – so has had a very turbulent time. I last played in Serie A in FM17 I think, and that was with AC Milan – so I’m not sure what has changed other than Juventus dominating and with the way the TV rights work in Italy and a stadium of just over 16,000, I don’t think the club will be generating lots of cash for me to buy my way to success. So, if we’re assuming 40 points is the magic number to stay up – I need 34 points from 21 games (average of 1.62 points per game). I take over and assess the situation.
  23. With my other thread Blue is the Colour as my starting point i am branching out slowly towards adventures worthy of @Makoto Nakamura and his inspirational whole of Europe or A-Z of the world saves. One day I might leave England, one day I might be youth only, one day I might even attempt to be Alex Ferguson or any of the other delightful challenges on the challenge thread. But for my 1st none Chelsea foray, they say the first step of any journey is the hardest so I am making my first step a baby one. This time I will be....

Anyway I'm off to get Woking a treble wish me luck lol. Hope you guys are have a successful managerial careers in your respective clubs.
  25. Hi people of Football Manager. So, I have this save with Micronesia. Of course, many people haven't heard of this nation and probably haven't played with them either. So simple background info, it is and island, micronation in Oceania. I have this database I created called the "ConIFA World Cup" In real life, it is totally different than the way I made it. All the Non-FIFA nations in FM19 are in this new cup. I made a save with the very small, tiny, and obscure nation of Micronesia. When the tournament started, I won my group with many suspecting that we would make it out, but later, we were drawn against. So I did the save before you play method, and kept losing. So I went looking for unbeatable tactics for small nations like Micronesia, or San Marino and the like, but to no avail. Could someone find, or make a tactic for small, unskilled national teams?
