  1. First stop. Third team to call me up for interview but first one to ring me back. So here we go... There's much room for improvements here. Currently in the black though even my grandma and her cats know this will get ugly really fast. Not that dire of a situation but board are ambitious. They're asking midtable position of me. When i saw this, i kinda understood why The Beavers under-performed. They've got two whole squads in preseason. Yikes. Few familiar names but not much to get excited about. This team is old, defense is slower than a snail but i can work with this. Few players worthy of mentioning: A fine goalie for this level. As slow as a tortoise but it'll have to do... Vanarama's Pirlo. Poor man's Nani. I like him. Old as the Bible but best striker we have. Random beaver in holiday mood for the end of the opening post
  2. Introduction: The sole purpose of this fie is to expand the US/Canadian experience for Football Manager as close to real life as reasonably possible. And if I do say so myself, I believe this file is the most realistic USA expansion for any version of Football Manager. There are a lot of different ways to enjoy this DB file. Take over your local NPSL or USL2 club (like my Emerald Force SC). Start with at the youth level, including the MLS academy teams. Do a Caleb Porter and build a college powerhouse before taking on the professional game. You can even make like Marc Dos Santos and start in one of the Canadian leagues (including the new Canadian Premier League). Or, just start in MLS while the pyramid below helps develop players for your dynasty. Here are the specifics: UNITED STATES Major League Soccer: All default rules are still in place (salary cap, allocation money, contract types, All-Star Game, Drafts, etc). In 2019, as by default, FC Cincinnati joins the league (as is the case in real life). Expansion draft still occurs. The big addition here is the 2020 expansion where Beckham's Inter Miami franchise joins the league along with Nashville, as is happening in real life. Some liberty was taken with the Nashville franchise, as they have not announced their branding yet. I simply "promoted" Nashville SC from USL Championship. The teams join the league as normal, however the expansion draft for 2020 does not seem to take place. FM obviously realizes that expansion is happening because it shows on the calendar, however it never actually occurs as it does for the 2019 expansion. It's apparently a hard-coding issue. Also included is the recently announced changes to the playoffs, starting in 2019. Seven teams from each conference now qualify for a chance to win the MLS Cup, up from six. (*3.17 CHANGE NOTE - I have now included a version of the file that sets all playable clubs in the USA to "Professional". This is not entirely accurate, but it does seem to help overcome the hard-coding issues that make it difficult to sign players at the lower levels). United Soccer League Championship: The league plays in 2018 with the same 33 teams from real life. In 2019, FC Cincinnati leaves the league to join MLS. Penn FC, Richmond Kickers, and Toronto FC II "relegate" to USL One. Austin Bold FC, Birmingham Legion FC, El Paso Locomotive, Hartford Athletic, Loudoun United FC, Memphis 901 FC, and New Mexico United all join the league for the 36 real life teams for 2019. In 2020, Chicago and Oakland join for 38. The 7 expansion clubs can be chose from USL League One at the beginning of the game. United Soccer League One: The league does not schedule any matches in 2018, however you can choose the clubs which do not play in other leagues at the beginning of the game (Chattanooga Red Wolves, Forward Madison, Greenville Triumph, Lansing Ignite, North Texas SC, Orlando City B, and the Rochester Rhinos) It also starts with the 7 expansion teams that join USL in 2019 so you can start with one of them and build the squad. League begins play in 2019. NPSL Pro: Does not schedule any matches for 2018 or 2019 and begins play in 2020. You can pick Cal United, Cal FC, or Oakland Roots in the beginning. In 2019, the NPSL Founders Cup generates with the 11 teams set to play in the NPSL Pro Division competing in the same format as it is set to in real life. National Independent Soccer Association - This league begins play in 2019. In real life the NISA will run on a Fall-Spring calendar, but this cannot be done in the FM editor when the rest of the nation runs on a Spring-Fall calendar. NCAA: All 209 teams and 24 conferences are included. Set up to mimic real life as much as FM will allow. 21 of 24 conferences have tournaments, with all 24 conference champions gaining automatic bids to the NCAA Championship Tournament. Players selected for the MLS Superdraft will come from the NCAA. US Soccer Development Academy: This is where newgens are generated in USA in FM. Activating the division means that the youngsters will get meaningful matches. This league matches real life as much as possible, but in reality the league runs on a fall-spring schedule and FM doesn't allow one division in a nation to run fall-spring if the rest of the leagues run spring-fall. Also now included is the Generation Adidas Cup, giving MLS Academy teams competition against each other and foreign youth squads. United Soccer League Two: Setup to reflect real life for all 2018-2019 changes. FC Tucson and South Georgia Tormenta play in USL2 in 2018 before joining USL1 in 2019. National Premier Soccer League: Also setup to function in 2018-19 as in real life. Chattanooga FC, Detroit City, Miami FC, Miami United, Milwaukee Torrent, New York Cosmos, FC Arizona, and ASC San Diego all play in NPSL in 2018 before moving to NPSL Pro in 2019. CANADA: Canadian Premier League: Now that I know all of the rules, I have been able to recreate the CPL as it will function in real life. The league plays a 10-match Spring Season, an 18-match Fall (Autumn) Season, with the winner of each plays for the overall championship. If one team wins both the Spring and the Fall, the team with the second best record overall plays in the two-legged league championship. My file will record the winners of each half of the season, and the overall champion. I have also gotten the squad rules as close as I could to the real life rules (23 players, 7 foreign player maximum, and at least three U21 domestic players in the squad). Second Division: League1 Ontario and the PLSQ are recreated as close as possible to real life, including league cups. Third Division: Pacific Coast Soccer League, Canadian Soccer League, and the CSL Second Division. Canadian Championship: Is set to function as in real life. The six teams that participated in the tournament in 2018, with the CPL teams joining the other six real life teams in the 2019 edition. Starting in 2020 the L1O and PLSQ champions join the 7 CPL teams, the Ottawa Fury, and the 3 Canadian teams from MLS in the correct format. ADDITIONAL FILES FOR THE CONCACAF CLUB COMPETITIONS: Apparently modifying MLS in the editor causes the default CONCACAF Champions League to go haywire, so I rebuilt it. It functions better with the CONCACAF League and CFU Club Championship competitions which I also rebuilt. If you do not include these files with my USA-Canada expansion, the Champions League will not select the proper teams. For the Concacaf League and the Concacaf Champions League to function properly, you will need to drop the Mexico and Costa Rica leagues files into the "editor files" folder. These competitions have been modified to ensure that the correct clubs qualify for continental play. -Competitions included: CONCACAF Champions League, CONCACAF League, Leagues Cup GRAPHICS FILE: Also included is a graphics file which contains logos for all American and Canadian teams. It also includes kits for all US teams and the CPL teams. Screenshots: KNOWN ISSUES: -For whatever reason, the expansion draft does not happen for the 2020 or 2021 expansions. As best as I can tell, this is a hard-coding issue pertaining to MLS expansion. The expansion draft does still occur for FC Cincinnati. -Some NPSL and USL2 clubs won't fill their squads. Some teams will always have only gray players. I've tried different things, but for now there seems to be no way around this. My guess as to why this is the case would be because in FM, clubs in the USA do not develop new players. All new domestic American players come through the Academy system whereas clubs in other countries' have a yearly youth intake. I can't say for sure why some semi-pro clubs don't just go sign free players, but I'd say it's related to the unique US youth system in FM. -NCAA teams will not function exactly as they should in real life. FM sees the teams as amatuer U23 clubs. Their squads are usually automatically populated which I would suppose is because the SuperDraft pulls from them. -Professional clubs from USL2, and the Division 3 competitions will sign players from the NCAA and Academy leagues. I have done what I can to minimize this phenomenon, but it is unfortunately unavoidable and unrealistic. The somewhat good news is that it will happen less frequently as the game progresses after the professional clubs have filled their squads. DISCLAIMER: I have NO idea how this file will mesh with other database files. If you have an issue, by all means report it and I will try to make it compatible but I can make no promises on that. DOWNLOADS: USA Expansion 3.24 - http://www.mediafire.com/file/zacf3690c3ie97w/USA_Expansion_3-24.rar/file -----There are now two options for the USA Expansion file: #1 Standard - The standard version of the file leaves all club status' and reputations "as is". #2 Pro - the pro version sets all clubs statuses to professional, which helps with the lower level clubs in signing players and acquiring loans. DO NOT PUT BOTH FILES IN THE EDITOR DATA FOLDER. The file will not load up if both are included. Canada Expansion 1.9 - http://www.mediafire.com/file/x3zx188b6e2q5qq/Canada_Expansion_1.9.rar/file Concacaf Competitions 3.23 - http://www.mediafire.com/file/pfk6bksc2338k95/Concacaf_Comps_3-23.rar/file (IMPORTANT NOTE - You will NEED these files or the correct teams will not qualify for the Concacaf Champions League. It also includes files for Costa Rica and Mexico, which you will also need to sort out qualification for the Champions League and Concacaf League) Graphics files 3.23 (place in "Football Manager 2019>graphics" folder): http://www.mediafire.com/file/9evhxci35mrbj41/USA-CAN_Expansion_Graphics_3-24.rar/file MLS in FM19 Video Guides Part One (League Format): Part Two (Squad Breakdown): Part Three (Player Acquisition): ADDITIONAL FILES ----------MLS Club Continental Competitions CONCACAF in the Copa Sudamericana - CONMEBOL used to invite teams from North America to compete in the Copa Sudamericana. That deal ended when CONCACAF changed the format of the Champions League and started scheduling matches in the fall when the Sudamericana was played. Now that the Champions League has returned to playing all of their matches in the spring, there has been some discussion of allowing North American teams in the Sudamericana again. I remember playing in Sudamericana with the older versions of FM and it was a lot of fun, so I built this file that sends the CONCACAF Champions League winners and runner-up to the Sudamericana. Pan-Pacific Championship - This revives a now-defunct preseason friendly competition that used to pit the champions of MLS Cup against the champions of Australia, Japan, and South Korea in a one-leg knockout competition. There is a third place match so two matches are guaranteed. International Champions Cup - This recreates the summer friendly competition that is played mostly in the United States in real life. This version plays the entire competition in the US and adds the MLS Supporters Shield champion as well as the Libertadores champion, who has been invited in the past. DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/file/yqfd92sdc1tm3ui/MLS_Continental_Comps_3-23.rar/file ----------Central American & Caribbean Leagues This file adds the national leagues for Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico. These are actually updates on claasen's files from the past (so I will remove them if he so wishes but he has apparently taken a break from the scene and did not update these himself so I went ahead and did it). I added these to increase the MLS playing experience by adding some continental leagues and expand the player pool for acquisitions. Also included is the Central American Club championship competition. There are also files for the Champions League and CONCACAF league that adjust how teams are drawn from Costa Rica. The CCL and CL in this file are different from the versions included with the MLS download so you will need to remove those and add these files if you intend on running Costa Rica DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/file/45s787pifb26nwz/Central_American_Leagues_3-23.rar/file ----------International Competitions These files add some international competitions to enhance the North American experience. Like all of the others, you can pick and choose which ones you want. USA January Camp - When I managed the US national team it always bugged me that I couldn't schedule friendlies in January because in real life they hold a camp for the domestic players (and guys who play in Spring-Fall leagues like Scandinavia). So I created this file to add the camp. The US will play two matches against nations chosen randomly from a list of countries that have played against in January in the past. Pan American Games - This is a real life youth competition for U22 teams from North and South America. It helps to prepare the national team programs for Olympic Qualifying. Central American & Caribbean Games - Real life U21 competition for Latin American national teams (No USA or Canada) Central American Games - U20 Championship for the 7 Central American Nations: Copa Nuevo Mundo - In 2016 the USA hosted the Copa America. After the tournament was a huge success, there was talk about creating a new competition held every four years for the top national teams from CONCACAF and CONMEBOL. This is is that competition. I call it the Copa Nuevo Mundo (Cup of the New World). It consists of 16 teams (8 from CONCACAF, 8 from CONMEBOL) held every four years in the United States. 3. I am back after a year long absence from these parts (and playing FM in general tbf). This save will be played on the recent update of FM19. Inspired somewhat by ManUtd1's big journeyman I've had this idea for a save planned for a while. The aim of it is to win the Champions League with a team that hasn't won it before from "every" country in Europe. I say every with brackets as I won't be using any extra files on this save so I will "only" be doing it for the 34 countries available on the game. I guess I could do 35 if you include the Liechtenstein side, but I won't have to worry about making a decision on that for a very long time. As I often like to do on saves on FM I will start off with Arsenal and then work my way around the rest of Europe from there. I'll be starting the game with the top leagues from England, Spain, Germany and France all loaded, then will take one away and add another as I complete one. So when I win the CL with Arsenal I will take England off and add Italy, then take the next off and add Portugal, Turkey, Russia, etc and so on.
  4. Intro Hi . My name is Chris. I decided to go back to FM19 because I am simply not enjoying FM20's ME right now. I have been wanting to do a Sunderland save but never got around to it. My plan is doing a story about it will keep me interested in the save because usually I lose interest a couple of seasons in. Goals for this save are very simple. Win the Premier League and win the Champions League. The plan is to end the save when those two targets are achieved. I am using an edited database with promotions and relagations as well as transfers updated . The only difference to fm 20 should be the start date .
  5. Hey. I've just got the game and am trying to use a transfer update database from FmScout. Downloaded the database and put the files in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\editor data, but cannot see them when choosing a database for a new save. Ive tried different databases and none will work. What am I doing wrong??
  6. Andrea Pirlo, one of the best and smartest playmakers in history, returns to San Siro to start a new era for Rossoneri. Beautiful legend, isn`t it? Big history, big ambitions, big expectations... let`s see where we go. Global aim - is predictably become №1 in the world. But on the way for this glory we should achieve a lot of short- and long-term goals. Some of them: 1) Champions league every season. This is what the fans want and this is crucial for many aspects such as finances, marketing, reputation etc. 2) Build strong verticale u18--u20--main squad. What i mean. Strong coaching team, unified tactical system for all levels. And i`m a fan of "manageriable" rosters. No more then 25 players in u18 and u20 squads and no more then 23 players in senior squad. 3) Attractive football (of course with DLP in the system ) . I`m not a fan of gegenpressing, "all in attack" or something like this but i prefer the rule "best defending is attacking". When you are with ball it`s reduces chances for opponents. But at the same time plug and play tactics are not for me too. I have nothing against parking the bus if its really needed and will help us to win the match. 4) Preference to Italian players. It`s not a rule but ideal picture for me is strong Italian core alongside with quality players abroad. 5) Very long term i think - become CL most times winner (now Real - 13 times). So let`s start: Season 2018-2019 "Transitional" Why transitional? Cause this season is time for everyone in the club including players and the staff to show their skills and abilities. No transfers, no loans, no staff moves. And i will decide who suits our high standarts and who will leave the club. to be continued...
  7. Don't worry, if you've made it this far with your decoder ring, the whole thread isn't going to be written like that! So my Valencia "Nemesis" died a death, this might seem stupid but when I reread my previous Chelsea thread (where I had first come up with the idea) I noticed that I should have taken over Sevilla not Valencia and getting it wrong bugged me... I lost all interest in the save and just couldn't motivate myself to continue, thus back to the drawing board! After at least 10 minutes consideration and a trawl through the forums I have decided upon 2 saves, running concurrently to try keep my interest and variety up. Yes I hear you cry, I struggled to keep my teeth into 1 save, how will I manage with 2, well, you may well be right but lets see what happens shall we. You can all shout "I told you so" at the end of the thread :P So thread 2, this is inspired by some of the wonderful career threads I have read during my short time here, I'm looking at @Makoto Nakamura and @andychar who will work anywhere and win anything and who I enjoy reading and following very much. Thus I will be attempting an around the world thread to offset just how vanilla my latest Chelsea save actually is. However my personal twist is that I will be starting at Z, as I am in no illusion that I may not finish this :P and I am sure many other people have been in this position, and that means that the countries at the back end of the alphabet are well and truly neglected. But no more! I will champion these countries, my global journey begins in Zimbabwe. I would like to thank Michael Itner for his leagues megapack which has allowed me to embark on this mammoth task! Basic ground rules: I will move on in reverse alphabetical order (which might be a challenge all on it's own) I will have 3 leagues loaded at a time I will start in the bottom tier of every nation I will win everything there is to win in my current nation before moving on to the next I will start as myself, with zero managerial badges (for the first time ever) and Sunday league football reputation (which is still more than my real life self!) Finally I will not be rushing through as I am in no position to emulate the immense pace of @Makoto Nakamura so this could end up being my life's work!! (Also anyone who can offer any help on how and when is best to add and remove leagues would be hugely appreciated! as I am very much a journeyman virgin) The face might be randomized, but I would so wear that outfit! I randomly selected a team to start with, I am in the Flame Lily hot seat! was meant to be!! This save is being run concurrently alongside Back to the Future because I'm cheap As always thanks for reading
  8. Hello guys, this is my time writing about a save and didn't know if I wanted to post this one. But I have just started my fourth season, having alot of fun (and agony) with this save and wanted to share it. Ashton United were founded in 1878 in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester as Hurst Football Club. The Robins play their home matches at Hurst Cross and have just been promoted from the Northern Premier League Premier Division to the National League North, which is the highest in the pyramid Ashton have ever been. As you can see Ashton have never won a single competition in their history, something we look to change, and have the worst facilities a club can have on the game. The next post will detail our first season and once I get caught up I will post updates every two months of game time. Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy!
  9. Why FM19 isn't on Steam? Have any idea guys?
  10. I've been doing my Parma updates in 'The Italian Job! Italian league thread is here!' thread on the GP&TG Forum, decided to transfer my previous updates into one topic instead. Will be making new updates here from now on as well. I might use this thread for my FM20 save as well in the future, will see how it goes. As of writing, I'm currently in my 7th season with Parma. New updates will be for April 2025 onwards.
  11. Hey. I want to do small changes in advanced rules for Italy, but there seems to be something wrong with it to begin with. I load 19.3.0 database - Add nation rules Italy add lower divisions etc - convert to advanced rules. At this point i tried making changes that ive done in fm18 and before to make my game more enjoyable - Test rules All - Then I get this error at the date 5/5/2018 "Error in nation rules: Wrong number of qualified teams (57) found for competition (59 required)." I couldnt figure out why I would get that error so I tried to repeat my steps on new save except I didnt make any of the changes I did before; I just converted to advanced rules right away. I got the same error even though I made NO changes. I tried the same for England and there were no errors. How come I get that error with Italy? Thanks for any help!
  12. The Graham Taylor Career Journey Hello and welcome, as I try to emulate the managerial career and footballing philosophy of the former England Manager, Graham Taylor. Taylor at the age of twenty-eight, became the youngest manager ever to be appointed by a club in the Football League, when he took over Lincoln City halfway through the 72/73 season, saved them from relegation, whilst finishing a credible tenth in the old Fourth Division. The previous summer, at twenty-seven, he became the youngest man to become a qualified FA coach, after his own professional football career in the Fourth Division had been cut short prematurely by a hip injury. Graham Taylor had a very clear vision for how his teams should play. It should be a direct, fast paced style of play combined with the high pressing and counter pressing game, combined with lots of shots on the opposition's goal. His vision worked and by the 1975/76 season he had led Lincoln City to the title, setting records along the way for games won (32) and goals scored (111) in a single season. He spent the following season in the Third Division with Lincoln City, finishing 9th, before he got a call from Watford's chairman Elton John offering him to drop down a division and take over the club. After accepting the position, Taylor propelled Watford up the table with three promotions in four seasons and getting them to a F.A cup final at Wembley. He also went on to manage Aston Villa, leading them to second place in the 1st Division, before taking the England job, which ended in failure to qualify for the 94 World Cup in the U.S. So for this save I’ll start unemployed with a National A coaching badge, and a past playing experience of regional level professional footballer. After reading his self-penned autobiography, I also intend to use the high intensity tactics he used throughout his career, and see where it takes me. I also want to get a job in League Two, since this was the division where he started his managerial career. The aim of the save is to get my first team promoted and secured in League One within four seasons. Then try start all over again with a League Two side, achieving three promotions in four seasons with them, and if I can, getting them to a cup final along the way. Another aim is to be offered the England job. In the next post I'll update you on whatever League Two club is willing to hire an inexperienced 29 year old Taylor.
  13. A second game I have going is with Utd. As with my other thread I'm looking for opinions where I could upgrade on positions, who I could buy etc. 1. I have De Light coming in for next season 2. Left back as I plan to sell Rojo, Young and Darmian so would be short but I do have Grimaldo coming but could still do with another option. 3. Planning on selling Valencia so again I would be short 4. Am considering selling Matic and Mata, not sure who I can get to replace these 2. 5. Not sure about selling Sanchez, I feel he played well but he is 30 and his value isn't going to increase is it, if I do sell who could I get to replace him, would like to go for youth. Just finished the 2018/2019 season.
  14. I am currently 18 seasons into my FM19 save in Hong Kong. I took charge of Dreams FC at the start of the save and have remained there ever since. In this save my aim is to either have Hong Kong win a world cup or make the Hong Kong league into the most reputable league in the world. In terms of domestic success we are the best team in Hong Kong by a country mile. We have done well in the continental competitions as well we have reached the Asian Champions League final 3 times, winning 2 and have been knocked out in the Semis 2 two times as well. I came third in the Club World Cup once too. The Hong Kong international team currently sit 69th in the world rankings and the league has the 14th highest reputation in Asia. I will not be managing Hong Kong yet but I will post how they do as when they qualify for a World Cup. When I have made my team as good as they can be I may move around the league improving each team. For those wondering I am using the unedited default FM 19 database.

  16. Im looking for some second opinions on where I could reinforce my team. Just won the Bundesliga and would like to reinforce certain areas. 1. A new right back to replace Hakimi as no guarantee I could get him back on loan 2. Not sure if Ortega is decent enough so a new left back 3. Possibly a new striker, a backup to the 2 in the screenshot and Dejan Loveljic 4. Maybe a new keeper, even as a backup to Burki. Just finished the 2018/2019 season. Thanks in advance for your advice. 1
  17. https://binged.it/2rHHyUo EDIT: Check the link out above if you need the title explaining. Cracking tune, but I've seen both lyrics posted all over the internet!) Afternoon all. It's been a while, I hope all is good here on FMCU. After a bit of a break from FM as part of my efforts to deal with the black dog, I'm back in a position to enjoy the game once again. In order to ensure the pesky mutt doesn't keep turning up at my door, I've had to make a few changes in my lifestyle, the most important of those (at least for me) is to sort my sleep pattern out. Considering my main FM time used to be between 10pm and 1am, that means I need to change the way I play the game to help me get a good night's sleep each night. As a result, I'm embracing technology and the iPad, so I can find time here and there during the day for a game or two, without having to get out the way of the family to play on my usual system. It therefore looks like my days of playing full-fat FM have come to an end, at least until the kids are a bit older! I've been stuck on FM13 for a long time, and despite starting saves on FM15 & 16 I never really got into them, mostly because my computer found the games a real struggle. That means FM19 is brand new to me, so this will be a real learning experience. I shall however be using the cross save function on Touch, and so far on the technical side, things seem to be moving along just nicely. OK Withnail, so what is the plan with the save? Simple enough. While I normally find myself playing in a smaller football country, the restriction of only being able to use three nations has made we think I need to play in more mainstream leagues, and with Germany now being officially recognised on the game, it seems the ideal place to play. The goal is simple enough - to remove Bayern from their position of dominance, and then grind them into the muck. I shall be starting in the third tier, but I am happy to move on when it is the right time to do so, and I'll even cross borders into France or Holland for a while in order to attract the attention of bigger German clubs if required. While I have no intention of managing other German sides with a recent tradition of success in order to beat Bayern, I won't rule it out if they are in a weak position or if I'm getting to the end of the 30 year period (which is the career limit on the iPad) without having achieved my goal. EDIT: My career took a different path than originally intended, so I added taking down PSG to the save's goals. Game details: FMT19 Leagues loaded from Germany (3.Liga and above) Holland (Keuken Kampioen Divisie and above) and France (French National and above) The manager As ever in my saves, it's Johan Andersen. This time, the Norwegian is 38 years of age, and with German heritage. He spent most of his playing career with Celtic, who are his favourite club, and he can also speak Dutch and French if he is required in future. Andersen was a solid holding midfield player, and he likes his sides to play at a high tempo and on the front foot, without having possession for the sake of possession.

  20. I’ve decided what my main save is going to be once the FM19 Winter Update is available. I’m going to do a Director of Football Challenge with Derby County. I’ve never done the Director of Football challenge before so I’m excited as it’s going to be something different for me. Derby County owner Mel Morris is going to bring back Rams legend Igor Stimac as Director of Football and Igor will have responsibility for all transfers in (senior and youth), all transfers out (senior and youth), as well as contract renewals. That worries me a little. Igor was an amazing player for the Rams, an inspirational captain and leader, but his non-playing career hasn’t been that impressive. I’ve not looked what his attributes are in FM but imagine they’ll reflect his non-playing career so far. With a lot of senior players out of contract in June 2019 that could be very interesting. The only change I’m going to make to Igor in the pre-game editor will be to mirror the owner’s non-player tendencies that relate to club philosophies so that owner and Director of Football are looking to achieve the same thing. On the other hand, the Rams do have some exciting young players coming through so I’m looking forward to that as youth development is one of the club philosophies. Wish me luck, I think I may need it...
  21. I’ve by mistake selected a different layout from what I want. I want an action bar rather than the traditional style screen. I’m attaching photos from FM 18 ( of what I want it to look like) and FM 19 ( of what I’ve mistakenly chosen). Please help
  22. I've put together version of my Neloxia file before, and after learning how to import into FM19, I've started testing a version of it. I don't have any logos or anything for it (though if someone wanted to work to do that, I'd be up for putting stuff together) Neloxia is in Europe, replaced Gibraltar and is meant to become a world power nation in short order. You read more about Neloxia from the past in these posts or last year's file, the FM16 version I released just before FM17 was released and so it did really well on the Steam Workshop since people wanted something to play. Neloxian football is weird, here are some of the quirks. Neloxia file: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1760235375 LigaPremier features 5 point wins (I've been doing this for years and I prefer it.) Top 8 teams in the LigaPremier compete for a $100m Championship Playoffs at the end of the season. Top 3 teams in LigaPremier are relegated to the LigaExcel. The next 4 worst teams compete in a relegation playoff. Top 3 teams in the LigaExcel get promoted. Top 4 teams in the LE play in a promotion playoff. Lots of TV money at the top, so good incentives to make it. There are a few lower division teams with sugar daddy owners who are yearning to take their clubs to the top, so check them out! 23. Football Manager 2019 time! And I'm going for Pentagon Challenge (again). People have done it in the past, same old rules, credit to whoever first came up with this hardcore challenge. I'm not sure when I last did it (like in 2015 or something), but I don't have it saved, so here goes a new version in 2019. Aim Win the 5 continental trophies (European Champions League, South American Champions League, Asian Champions League, African Champions League, North American Champions League) in one save. I'm also going to make this even harder by adding the World Cup. Rules No adding new managers. No in game editors. Attribute masking to ensure you actually scout people. Start unemployed, Sunday-League experience, no coaching badges. The bars are up to you. Database, I'm going large and adding as many leagues as possible. I do suggest that you add the lower divisions, Asian, African and North American leagues first and add the top divisions, European leagues, and so on later. *Custom Database for adding more leagues is allowed Have fun!
  24. Hi guys..One last trip with fm19 who will help me-us run faster weeks-days before fm20 release..I love this national team since my childhood (actually i used to take them in first versions of Pro Evolution ) and managed them in fm too(fm 15 if i remember correct).Anyway let's start! NATION Jamaica (/dʒəˈmeɪkə/ (listen)) is an island country situated in the Caribbean Sea. Spanning 10,990 square kilometres (4,240 sq mi) in area, it is the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles and the Caribbean (after Cuba and Hispaniola).[9] Jamaica lies about 145 kilometres (90 mi) south of Cuba, and 191 kilometres (119 mi) west of Hispaniola (the island containing the countries of Haiti and the Dominican Republic); the British Overseas Territory of the Cayman Islands lies some 215 kilometres (134 mi) to the north-west. Originally inhabited by the indigenous Arawak and Taíno peoples, the island came under Spanish rule following the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1494. Many of the indigenous people were either killed or died of diseases to which they had no immunity, and the Spanish thus forcibly transplanted large numbers of African slaves to Jamaica as labourers.[9] The island remained a possession of Spain until 1655, when England (later Great Britain) conquered it, renaming it Jamaica. Under British colonial rule Jamaica became a leading sugar exporter, with a plantation economy dependent on the African slaves and later their descendants. The British fully emancipated all slaves in 1838, and many freedmen chose to have subsistence farms rather than to work on plantations. Beginning in the 1840s, the British began utilising Chinese and Indian indentured labour to work on plantations. The island achieved independence from the United Kingdom on 6 August 1962.[9] With 2.9 million people,[10] Jamaica is the third-most populous Anglophone country in the Americas (after the United States and Canada), and the fourth-most populous country in the Caribbean. Kingston is the country's capital and largest city. The majority of Jamaicans are of African ancestry, with significant European, Chinese, Indian, Lebanese, and mixed-race minorities.[9] Due to a high rate of emigration for work since the 1960s, there is a large Jamaican diaspora, particularly in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The country has a global influence that belies its small size; it was the birthplace of the Rastafari religion, reggae music (and associated genres such as dub, ska and dancehall), and it is internationally prominent in sports, most notably cricket, sprinting and athletics.[11][12][13] Jamaica is an upper-middle income country[14] with an economy heavily dependent on tourism, with an average of 4.3 million tourists a year.[15] Politically it is a Commonwealth realm, with Elizabeth II as its queen.[9] Her appointed representative in the country is the Governor-General of Jamaica, an office held by Sir Patrick Allen since 2009. Andrew Holness has served as Prime Minister of Jamaica since March 2016. Jamaica is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy with legislative power vested in the bicameral Parliament of Jamaica, consisting of an appointed Senate and a directly elected House of Representatives.[9] NATIONAL TEAM The Jamaica national football team, nicknamed the "Reggae Boyz", represent Jamaica in international football. The team's first match was against Haiti in 1925. The squad is under the supervising body of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), which is a member of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), and the global jurisdiction of FIFA. Jamaica's home matches have been played at Independence Park since its opening in 1962. The national team has participated in three major football competitions. Their sole appearance in the FIFA World Cup was in 1998, where the team finished third in its group and failed to advance. The team also competed in the Caribbean Cup winning six times. Jamaica also competes in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, appearing thirteen times and finishing twice as runners-up to Mexico in 2015 and the United States in 2017. They also have been invited to the Copa América in 2015 and 2016 with both times being eliminated in the group stage.
