One of our youth prospects is currently playing for Bristol City on Football Manager 2017 despite playing for Stourport (on loan from Kidderminster Harriers) in real life. A bit annoying as he's probably the best prospect we currently have at the club.
So the way the database works if you load a Solo League it should load all the players from each team? But if you add other leagues it will only load the "top players"....... So loading up England Only I see the newly called up Oliver Burke in the Nottingham Forrest squad valued at 1.7m loading up England with Scotland as a second league........... No Oliver Burke but 10 other players in the Nottingham Forrest squad valued UNDER 1.7m therefore 10 worst rated players than him..... Why would that be? I thought the game loaded the "top" players from each team...... Obviously not.....
Back in the day (through FM11, I think?) England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland would call up naturalized players. I once had Nacho Novo captaining Scotland. By FM14, they had changed it to reflect the real world, and only players who qualify for those nations before they turn 18 can be called up. (This is a part of the Home Nations agreement; FIFA doesn't care.) BUT, as near as I can tell, SI did not make this editable in the database. If you'd like to set up your game so that naturalized players can be called up, can you set that in the database these days? If not, it would make a great addition to the editor.
