  1. Hey everybody It is every year the same. I wish the official winter database update would be a real life update, that means transfers which happen during the January transfer window would be implemented in the database as future transfers. For example let's assume player xx plays at AC Milan and is transferred on 15th of January to Juventus. When I start with AC Milan a new save in June 2019 the player would be marked as a future transfer to Juventus on the 15th of January. I think it is a big lost of reality if players are immediately transferred (as it happens on the winter database update). In addition to a real life update there should be added an option 'don't allow transfers in summer and winter', so I could play the first season exactly as it was (will be). It should not be a big deal for the researchers > it would just mean that for example every transfer happend after a pre-defined date (let's say 1st of october) is a future transfer in the database. For the lovers of immediately transfers: SI could provide two databases, through mass mutation it should be possible to change in the Master DB all future transfers to immediately transfers. I think a game which claims to be the most real life football manager simulation should also consider to simulate the database the same way. Every year SI is working on bringing trainings, transfer negotiations, personalities etc. closer to real life, it should be time to implement a small feature to the database, as it defenitely isn't the biggest feature request. Additionally it would allow to enjoy also people like me the winter transfer update, all the new added talents and players during this update including future transfers. Because somebody who likes real life databases, for them the winter update isn't that cool ...
  2. I have a question, if it could be answered would be much appreciated... The database update with 20.1 patch is the final or there is going to be another one on full release? Thank you in advance.
  3. Former Ipswich player Grant Ward injured his ACL last December, he is continuing his rehab with the club but is out of contract. However when viewing him on FM he is approaching the end of his rehab in June. (Quoted from https://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/37009/rotherham-boss-wouldnt-be-surprised-if-ward-rejoined-town which is dated 18th October 2019)
  4. So this began out as me looking to create a 22 Tier database, but it was brought to my attention that one was already in the making, therefore I am looking to create the logos for the teams, competitions and possibly also the cities and stadiums if possible that will accompany this database created by @Dan BHTFC (Link to his page) Make sure you check out his content as it has been high quality for many seasons now! Peace. Instructions for installation: Download File Extract File Move logos folder to where your graphics folder is, for me it will be Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2019 > Graphics (You may have to create a graphics folder) Boot up Football Manager 2019 Go to Preferences > Interface Click Clear Cache Return to Preferences and click Reload Skin You have to Clear Cache every time you add a new logo and then go back and Reload the skin! 5. As some of you guys know from my previous thread I was interested in releasing a database in FM18 which was based on the teams/stats from FM09 (08/09 season). None of you guys knew this but shortly after coming up with this idea fortunately for the database but unfortunately for myself i lost my job and suddenly had A LOT more spare time. Due to this I have done this database and due to the reception i received would like to release this to the forum so others can enjoy this . As you can see from the pictures the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A has been completed, with updates squads, stats, ages etc. Some of the powerhouses at the time have also been completed such as Lyon, OM, Sporting, SLB and Porto. I have also edited PSG and Monaco due to their presence in modern day football.Due to the main leagues only being completed I wouldnt recommend picking any other team outside of these league for a full experience. As of this release there has been over 500,000 individual changes due to this there may be some errors however with other eyes hopefully you guys can find any errors and these can be adjusted for future releases.Hope you guys like it, please enjoy https://mega.nz/#!vCgRwIYb!VfOrHiW6k3I9-Do6sKLZiqiPPaPQeE9tGplGBl42hWY
  6. The 1966/67 season database for FM19 is your unique chance to try and manage some of the most legendary players of all time. We've all heard about Pele and Eusebio, now we have the opportunity to see these footballing legends in action in Football Manager. This season, in particular, has a soft spot in football's history forever, as England have just won the World Cup, and the Scottish team Celtic won the European Cup (today's Champions League). Some of the players from this era are still regarded as the best ones of all time in their respective countries. I've researched for years to make this Football Manager database, looking through old archives for stats, watching video material, talking to football historians to make it correct in terms of player attributes as much as humanly possible. So jump into the Football Manager time-machine and travel back to 1966 when The Beatles and Elvis Presley were on top of the Hit-lists and Pele, and Eusebio were the poster boys for one of the most iconic periods in football history. 7. So, I decided to create a North Korean database with 3 working leagues, a national cup, and a supercup. While creating the database, I had to set the season update day like any normal custom database. The DPRK Premier League begins in December 1, and ends October 28. I put a break for all 3 leagues on the week of 4.25 (April 25, basically a North Korean sacred day). Buuuuuuuuuuuuut, the early preseason begins on October 15 and the start of the season is November 26. But like I said before, the season update is November 5. I feel like there is something wrong with this formatting, so I need somebody, or just anyone who is reading this to check all aspects of North Korea database. If you want to edit this database, you can mess around with it, but remember to actually test it and fix the database. If you actually fix the database, please keep these 4 things: Keep the season update day on November 5 Keep the break week for all 3 leagues on the week of 4.25 Keep the start of the season December 1 and the end of the season October 28 Leave the cups as they are Those are small things, but keep them the same. I'm only looking at how to fix the season update, and preseason thing. I have never actually made a database before, so you could expect some rookie vibes. North Korea.fmf
  8. Hello folks new user here to the forums first of all.. Not been a member of the forums at any point so decided to take the plunge and share my experiences with you all whilst enjoying playing the game as well.Ive noticed a good few saves with teams in Scotland and in particular the lower scottish teams which i always find a good realistic challenge given my level of playing as i would consider myself not the greatest at the game But anyway,in this save ive decided to start off with my local team Larkhall Thistle and see where we go from there. Heres what i've setup gamewise.. Leagues Loaded in Norway,Sweden,Finland,Denmark,Iceland (All lowest league possible,View only settings) England (Vanarama N/S and above) Scotland (Junior + Senior pyramid - Mozza's Full Scottish Pyramid file from this forum) Ireland (First Division),Northern Ireland (Bluefin Sport Intermediate League),Wales(Premier League) Also added players form top european countries in the advanced section as well as African players (Mainly for regen purposes) Player count of about 75,000 Here goes
  9. Hey y'all , i have been working on this captain tsubasa database for a long time , it seems that most captain tsubasa databases i have come across only contains the main characters e.g. tsubasa and wakabayashi at their respective clubs in the future such as tsubasa playing for barcelona and wakabayashi for hamburg so i created a database to bring all of them together in one league. With my database i lowered their age to 16 and created a league which i call "japanese high school all star league" which contains the classic teams such as Nankatsu , Musashi , toho academy and Meiwa and others that appeared in the manga , with the logos and kits created and right locations of where they are based. And with the cherry on top , i also created two new teams europe stars which contains the most prominent players from europe such as karl heinz and louis napoleon and world stars which contains players from other places such as argentina with diaz from argentina and carlos santana from brazil and others that appeared in manga such as vulcan from saudi arabia and others from thailand , mexico , south korea and so on. i tried to include all players in the manga and even some from animated tv show characters who don't appear in manga such as sandy luke who plays for USA I am about 85 percent done with this database , i need to tweak some info here and there , add managers and scouts and coaches in all the teams which i hope to finish by this upcoming friday , keep in mind that this database wont be percent as this is my first one as a 17 year old but i am confident that this is the best one yet. a
  10. Hey. I've just got the game and am trying to use a transfer update database from FmScout. Downloaded the database and put the files in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\editor data, but cannot see them when choosing a database for a new save. Ive tried different databases and none will work. What am I doing wrong??
  11. Hello. I'd like to know what would be the optimal db settings for having a realistically working and active transfer market in FM 2019. Mind you I'm playing on a pretty low end laptop ( Intel HD 5500, 4 gb ram and a 2 GHz CPU). I'm planning to start in Juventus but i also want to be able to buy/sign some of the young wonderkids like from this list for example : https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/football-manager-2019-wonderkids-fm19-13435992 Is it better for me to run a small DB + lets say 12 playable leagues? ( Like Spain, France, Germany, Italy, UK, NL) or is it better to have fewer playable leagues but a larger DB for the wonderkids from obscure places to appear? I don't really know how this works and I haven't played FM in years. I don't want to have an exceedingly large DB, what I want is access to really good youngsters and a vibrant, competetive transfer market. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.. Cheers
  12. The last two years I have found this YouTube channel which helped me create my own league structure etc.. But over the years I have been editing my own database last year I did Norway from scratch created 6 strong team like in the epl with unique chairman who was in charge of transfers and the sign some amazing players from Norway and South America... But am wonder if there is anything you guys might know that no one else knows... In the community. I leave the link to that YouTube channel here
  13. Hi All, Regarding every year winter transfer DB update. It should consist of 1. current DB fine tuning (player attribute changes) 2. Error Fix (really sth wrong) 3. January transfer Is it a good idea of saperate January transfer DB changes from the error/fine tunning? Since I think many ppl like me would enjoy playing with Summer transfer but with the error fixed. Banana from HK
  14. Hi all Basically I've made a mistake. I always use larger database but in my excitement I have selected small database for my first save and don't want to lose the progress I've made by having to start again. Is there anyway of increasing the database size? Thanks for your help. Chris the Plonker
  15. So is a database of around 340K players (basically all loadable players) too big for a: i7 4770K GTX1060 8GB RAM ? I noticed in other FM's when i wanted to search for players it would get veeeeery slow to sort them and filter them. Same with staff. But that was it, it wasn't slow anyware else. I fully load (all leages from): England Germany Italy Portugal France Holland Belgium Spain Argentina Brazil (That's 32 leagues from 10 Contries) Thank you!
  16. Wait is over. Database is finally ready for release. In "last minute" I've decided to add another cup competition - Indoor championship for clubs of Croatian First League which was last played in 2009... Now, you can take control of every club in Croatia from 1st to 7th level. Except this "pyramid" database I've added pdf file with competition names on Croatian and English and database with legendary Croatian footballers. Some defunct clubs have been activated again, you'll see change in 2nd league or some lower levels... Also, you can take control of B teams when you find them... Only issue this database has, are regional divisions. Regional divisions are set for all clubs. However, number of clubs in each is league is "fixed" - maximum and minimum number of clubs is same. I had to do this because, unfortunately, when changing maximum and minimum number of clubs in league, after couple of seasons competitions stopped scheduling. So, it's possible that clubs change their county league in next season. It's not often but it's not rare either... Anyway, while playing county cup, you'll play against clubs that are in your county. For conclusion, I can say this is real Croatian football pyramid with custom tweaks and additions (custom promotions and relegations, added defunct clubs with squads etc.)... Around Christmas I'll add another update...Current version is 6.9. You can download this on link below: 20162017v69.7z Original post from October 12th Hi people! To mark my 10 year anniversary of playing FM I've decieded to create Croatian Football System - real pyramid with some custom tweaks for Football Manager 2017. I am working on this project for several months now and there is more than 100 000 changes... I was trying to do this for long time, but this year I took a serious approach... Currently, I'm working in FM2016 Editor and hopefully I will import this database in FM2017 Editor and game too. So what can you expect? 1. All league competitions in Croatia from 1st to 7th level with custom promotions/regulations, but close to "real life". 2. Real league rules such as number of foreign players, number of U21/U22 players in first 11, etc. 3. National and county cups with some my tweaks to make things more simple. 4. Real squads in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th level. (Sadly, for most lower leagues players I dont know playing positions, but in future updates I'll try to improve that and I'll add players for 6th and 7th level too.) 5. Text file containing English names for Croatian competitions, because competitions will carry Croatian names. 6. Real team colours, stadiums, managers. (However, when starting new game you'll need to tick option "Add key staff" because lower league clubs in Croatia rarely have assistant manager, scout, or even physio.) 7. Special database containing legendary footballers from Croatia and Croatian First Division. (They will be 18-year old players and they'll start career whete they started in real life. CA and PA will be used from older versions of FM. 8. Real media sources. 9. For now I'm not sure, but I could activate some defunct clubs with historic squads to play in Croatian Second Division, so it could be expanded from 12 to 18 clubs. 10. Some lower league clubs will be "sugar daddy" to make game more interesting. 11. Clubs will be added to some leagues to avoid odd number of clubs in legaues. If you have any questions feel free to ask...I'll add screens in following days, so you can see progress. I expexct to release database soon after release of FM2017.
  17. I fully understand why moving the start date forward would never be an option (eliminates need to buy new versions of the game if you can keep moving the start date in an old game forward) but I would love to be able to move the starting year BACK. This would allow for the creation of historic databases, which would be a lot of fun. I’d love to take over Man Utd when Fergie did, or the Ajax team of the early-mid 90s, etc. If the editor could do a lot of the ‘dirty work’ when changing dates (removing competition/player records) that would be even better. And setting ‘entry’ dates for players so modern players could appear at 15, for example, would also be great. Cherry on top would be SI releasing official historic databases but that feels like an impossibility with all the factors of licensing etc. Hopefully the FM fanbase are keen enough to pull together to create at least a small database (and leave the rest to newgens).
  18. We've implemented a totally new database system for Football Manager Mobile 2018, and we look forward to hearing what you think of it! Any surprises you've found, any missing players noticed, any suggestions for improvement. And, of course, how are you enjoying having up to twice the number of players? Let us know here.

  22. Hi Currently playing FM17 and just tried to start a new game, a few times, and each time I select the original database 17.1 rather than 17.3. When it all loads up the new game, I have checked the game status and it says the current database is 17.3. Am I missing something on getting the original database used for a game or is it not possible? Thanks J
