  1. as a professional, i'd judge your guess spot on. mr sarri also agrees
  2. without intention, but it does. occasionally the agent will offer a player to foreign clubs and he will end up in a foreign country way before the age he'd be allowed. at least it worked tthat way back in fm16 days.
  3. you'd surely win some worker medal if USSR was still around, but then you'r work would be unnecessary. an ugly paradox. that being said, Zrinjski was banned in Yugoslavia.
  4. I am sure you wanted to say Lokomotive Leipzig, right? Or was it Varwarts, or BSSKGMG Leipzig?
  5. Won't speculate about the most brilliant defence in the histrory of modern football. I'll just point out that Mr. Padovani had to be disappointed conceding that lone goal against - Padova.
  6. wow, this really made me chukle at this point, you can only change club. maybe, and it depends when the game decides the stadium, you can try an older save and sim through the stadium completion date to see if you get different seed for the stadium. this may be decided under the hub the day before new stadium was made, or announced.
  7. not sure how it works in the m.e. but logically - right footed player on the left flank - if he puts the ball to the right foot before cutting inside - he will potentially have more space to use as he gets away from the opponent (assuming the opponent is in front and not behind him). however, if he does it when running down the flank, he will actually go closer to the opponent so he better have very good technique, dribbling, agility, acceleration because it is quite risky move. in short, it is contextual and not necessary good or bad. in general, most of player prefered moves are quite inadequate as they are frequently more of tactical instruction than player prefered move. at least in my opinion.
  8. You've won million dollars from an Arab prince, it just doesn't show in your account.
  9. it is just a start date. you can select a start date in aus, but then you can look for jobs in any fully loaded league. doesn't need to be australia. also, i am not sure how deep is the australian pyramid, so if you start without badges you will have hard time finding a job if, i.e. you loaded only the top aus league.
  10. it will also be easier as you don't need to manage huge number of coaches, analysts and other staff. just find players on loan and stick to the basics with tactics.
  11. i feel this is quite arguable design. if you've set three players to zonally mark the six yard box, two to mark the edge of the box- remaining players should automatically be man marking. what else is there to do?
  12. i don't know what you do for living but i can tell you have no idea about defensive positioning.
  13. https://spielverlagerung.com/2014/07/06/examples-of-pressing-traps-in-the-4-1-4-1/
  14. you are reading it wrong. a wide pressing trap - the opposition is invited to pass the ball wide which triggers the pressing trap. a central pressing trap - the opposition is invited to pass into the central corridor which triggers the pressing trap.
  15. It means your team will block passing lanes into the central corridor inviting the opposition to play wide. A wide pass triggers a pressing trap on the flank and your players will move aggressively to close down anyone on that flank. central pressing trap is less conventional since you invite the opposition into the central corridor which is more dangerous place (the opposition has 360 degrees of passing options compared to 180 on the flank). it is usually used when you have more players in the center of the pitch (i.e. any combination of at least 3 cm/dm/am players)
  16. of course not, they use FM23 editor and check the attributes directly. like all professional teams do!
  17. imagine if they improved the graphics. they would have to make ice rink obvious and then it would be clear all the games are actually not played in a stadium.
  18. in a way you already play it Current game lacks phisicality, pushing, pulling... and it very much looks like a proper ladies top level football.
  19. I've finally caught up with the thread after a week or so Haven't played any new FM since FM16 (still, I did buy 21). Partly because of a great database i use, partly because I didn't see enough advancement in the ME. I have no idea how is the ME nowadays, however, if the bulk of the discussion here is about the graphical presentation of the ME, we have sort of first world problem. It means SI has resolved the biggest issue (well, for me) - the ME and can look towards more cosmetic side of the game. That being said, there's no denial the game needs to keep with the time and it is inexcusable how the 3d presentation looks in 2022. Real stab in the back - it obviously looked better 5 years ago.
  20. take your time, soviet union wasn't built in a day but in the revolution!
  21. I still didn't buy fm 22 and don't plan on buying the 23. I was wondering will fm22 be available for purchase once the 23 is out?
