Edit: I'm wrong, Connah's Quay are also Semi-Pro.  I had it in my head they were fully Professional when I played in Wales on FM22, but that could be me misremembering perhaps.

You're not wrong; they were for a period 'full-time' but even then had several players still playing for them part-time.

Just chiming in again to say that the number of corners is ABSURDLY higher than in real life. It's making games a real slog at times, which is a shame because the rest is mostly great.

Also there's a bug with player search on the scouting screen. If i filter by nationality it works, but when i try to add in a position filter it shows players from all nationalities as if the nationality filter wasn't checked. The other four players in my network save report the same.

Chime in at the bugs forum if something doesn't feel right, especially the player search bug you mention.

Ngl these are the least helpfull comments... how is stating something obvious is gonna do anything but annoy people.. everytime someone tells me to be patient in a speculation thread i lose even more patience.

I'm sure you're not as self-entitled as this reads, but the situation isn't complex: it's not ready but as soon as it is, it'll be released. It really is that straightforward.

  4. I think, and I don't know this, the decision not to make the stadiums look too similar to their real-life counterparts is to avoid any legal issues that may arise around licencing and bearing an accurate likeness.

My guess is the stadiums are randomly generated created and are deliberately pretty vague for this reason, rather than SI just not being bothered or interested about stadium appearance.

I checked out being manager of an English Premier League club. There's a Numbers tab for changing squad numbers in the Squad view. So I know where one should be able to change numbers now.

My game doesn't have this Numbers tab. I checked out being a manager of another club in my league (Brazilian 3rd division) and it also did not have a Numbers tab. Then I checked out being a manager of a top-division club in the country and it did have a Numbers tab.

So maybe I'll get the squad numbers option if/when I get promoted. I don't see why one can't assign squad numbers, anyway.

    Yeah, it's this.

  6. without going too off topic, I discovered OOTP and baseball much later than FM, I find OOTP incredibly difficult to get into as there's so many games in the MLB season and so many different contract and roster requirements. I've read tons of stuff but never seem to retain enough info to get into.

Good luck with FM though, MLS is a notoriously unique league to play in, in FM terms, and starting unemployed with no coaching badges etc is pretty hard core.

FWIW I wouldn't worry about huge databases for now and simply start with the main leagues loaded and play a season or two as a big top division club to familiarise yourself. 👍
