  1. Things like the 1989 league would be hard to do properly and very time consuming, they would have to get accurate data for every team and player. It really wouldn't be worth it for SI to do. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> 1989 would be too hard I agree, but they can do just about any year they've got data for already. They can make an awful lot of the youth teams simply from data extraction from future FM's cross referencing with any extra data they can get from other people. Remember, every year the data would be improved from past years as more people reveal accurate information about the previous players. The databases can and will improve, all it requires is the initial attempt. The same way as the actual database grew, once people are given the chance they'll add to it.
