I'm planning on doing a fairly in-depth recap of what has gone on in England/the Rest of the World at the end of next season which is the 10th year. I only have the UK leagues loaded at the moment though, as I removed a fair few of the bigger European ones early on to make the game run quicker, especially since I don't think I'll be moving abroad any time soon given the speed of progress I'm making up the leagues haha

Would be interested to see if Barrow have continued their great run you were telling us about earlier in the game

In a bit of interesting news further up the English pyramid, Barrow, who started the save in the Conference, have just won promotion to League 1. This was masterminded by their manager of the last year, 32 year old Corry Evans. It's pretty interesting to see a player retire at such a young age in the save and then go on to be a reasonably successful manager. Fingers crossed both Barrow and Corry Evans can keep up their rise in reputation.

Maldon & Tiptree, everyone's favorite non-league Tycoon owned side, still just about find themselves lingering in League 2. They finished 20th in their first season and last season they narrowly avoided relegation by finishing in 22nd place. Their current manager is none other than ex-England international Goalkeeper, Paul Robinson, who will surely be hoping he can get a bit of money and improve on their recent performances.

Good to see a Cumbrian side doing well, all that successor money for trident must be getting siphoned off into the football club ;)

Hard to tell, as the amazon link doesn't tell me what type of I7 it includes... other than that, both are similar specs so not a lot between them.

Motorsport manager may require a graphics card, I've never played it, so couldn't tell you.. although a google search will tell you whether it does or not.

So you think they are both good enough for footabll manager then? with the leagues i specified aove. I currently have this, http://www.tesco.com/direct/acer-es1-531-156-celeron-4gb-ram-1tb-hdd-laptop-black/769-9783.prd, are the above a significant improvement, i on't know much about computers

I'm hoping my public dismissal will be enough to put them off. Would be very frustrating to go from a title chasing side to a relegation fighting one :D  Although they're in Blackpool which is a step up from Basildon at least, although you can commute in from Southend to Basildon so it's all good :brock:

With that rush hour traffic london bound traffic on the 127 in the  morning? No thankyou

I did try to negotiate a wage increase but they weren't very accommodating :D

I've managed to go back and compile a list of the various wages I've been on at each club so far:

I'm currently on the most money I've been paid by any other side at this level, which is at least a bit encouraging. As of June, it would cost a club £2,500 to buy me out. So hopefully nobody else in the 9th tier is willing to fork up that kind of money, or if they are, they should hopefully also be in contention for promotion.

Thats fantastic, really useful to see, thankyou. Will be interesting to track wages as you rise through the levels (if you ever get out of level 9)

Is it wrong that I'm hoping squires gate offer you the job? North West counties would be another 9th tier league to tick off :)

What sort of run do you reckon I'd need from the 9th tier to raise my reputation up enough? The furthest I've got so far was this year to the 3rd Qualifying Round. You reckon I'd need to get to the 1st Round proper to get some of the 7th/8th tier sides interested?

Just guessing to be honest but i suspect there is a significant jump for first round proper. Winning the other cups probably carries little if anything in terms of rep boost I would imagine
