  1. Thanks for the advice guys, would love one day for the tactical creator to be advanced enough for the user to dictate where and when the players move so replicate positional play.
  2. Hi guys, I don't often post on here, I just tend to lurk about looking at articles but I thought this time I'd post and ask a couple of questions. I've got an idea in mind for a tactic I'd like to create in FM16. Having read a lot of articles on positional play and the use of a third defender from midfield e.g. Busquets and Dier, I wanted to recreate something like this: Without the ball With the ball The questions I have are: 1. How effective is the half back role in football manager? I have never used it myself but would like to gather an opinion of the role from people who have previously used it. 2. Can positional play effectively be reproduced in the game? I understand it will be hard but surely there is some sort of concept within the ME that can allow this? 3. What combination of mentality/shape/TI's/PI's would be recommended for the use of positional play in the game? Thanks
  3. It's the year 2022 in my game and I'm in my third year with Schalke, having had numerous years of previous success with Arsenal. Throughout the save I have predominantly played with a 4-1-4-1 defensive system inspired by Cleons articles with great success. However, I decided in the last half of my previous system that I wanted to shift to a 4-4-1-1. Now, although I achieved my goal of winning the Bundesliga and German Cup, my team were producing less than inspiring performances and I only just won the league by a point. It seems that I can't really figure out what I want to do with this tactic and how to make it successful. The idea behind my previous tactic one was to have a solid defensive base whilst catching the opposition off guard and breaking fast, which is similar to what I want to achieve with this tactic, but with the inclusion of an attacking midfielder I'd like to maybe try a more possession based game reminiscent of a real life Arsenal for example. I'm not the type of manager who analyses the matches inside and out to find out the perfect tactic, which is probably something I should do but I'm not very good at spotting weaknesses at all, I tend to just go with the flow and hope for the best a lot of the time! If any of you could help me improve my tactic, or tell me where I've gone wrong it would be greatly appreciated, thanks . Here are the images of my tactic: http://s173.photobucket.com/user/Louis_England-Crowder/media/Screen%20Shot%202015-08-09%20at%2022.26.09_zpsctw6aw69.jpg.html
