Thanks @ttvbtw
There was an error in the database where a 'date departed' was added in both 2022/23 and the 2023/24 player history for this player, resulting in what is a cosmetic issue.
Thank you for identifying it. That errant extra entry will be deleted for the next official data update. We'll put a query in place in the database to check where this may have happened elsewhere and look to fix those too.0 -
Thanks very much @DCastle - we will definitely look into this.

Thanks @awatson7 - well spotted. I have amended the database and the change will be in a future update.

Yes, thanks @ttvbtw and @Nick OGS20 - these duplicate clauses are a known issue and it is being looked into.

Thanks @mrtayloralex - the database shows that we had that clause in the old contract, but it is not set in the one that he signed in July; I will look into it.

Thanks @FourFiveOne - I have amended Palmer's height in the database (Chelsea official site concurs with your Transfermarkt link). Szoboszlai is more ambiguous - Liverpool website has no height info, and Premier League official site and Whoscored both have him at 1.86m (the height that is already in the database).
I have also amended Lavia's international data, thanks! All amendments will be for a future update.

Thanks for your thoughts @FourFiveOne - I have passed this on to our Chelsea researcher for his consideration.

Thanks for this report, @Jaggra. Following investigation, the coding team tell me that the game should be implementing payments based upon the fulfilment of "reach group stage" clauses as if they were "reach league phase" clauses.

Thanks for the report @Jaggra.
We are not getting an over-performance by Liverpool in our full detail soaks. Are you soaking in full detail? Brighton and Man City are both performing as expected, as are Arsenal and Tottenham.

Thanks very much @madmanmadson and @mgodz9 - it appears that this is a known (non-data) issue, and is being investigated by the coding team.

Thanks @sam171189 and @shaunfletcher - have made the required amendments, and the changes will be evident in a future upate.

Thanks very much @tansey and @trickyrikki - the new contract details for both Mings and McGinn have been amended in the database, for a future update.

Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention, @MertenMaXx - we will amend the database so that this will be fixed for a future update.

Thanks @madmanmadson - that is strange. Both have a 10% yearly wage increase set, but it is not duplicated. Which game mode are you using, please?

Thanks @CraigPodevin - I do not know what is happening to cause that; we have season ticket holders numbering 55,000 in the database. I am looking into it.

Thanks @marcMCFC1986.
We have two recent injuries set for KDB - the first running from June 23 to July 23, and the second from a little later in July 23 to mid-November 23. The game can only work with one of those - the game-start injury, which is the first one. So, the second one will not come into play. A workaround could have been to merge those two injuries into one, but the decision was to go with the accuracy of the real-world situation, and let the game do the rest.

Playing real world.
his salary did go up. What fooled me was that the contract already was until 2028… also he wasn’t on 110k/w before. Thanks @Nick OGS20 and @Stevmon.
The game is estimating Rashford's contract prior to the renewal in July this year. At the time of the renewal, the database was not yet set up to store historical contracts, so the contractual data that we had set (including expiry date and estimated wages) prior to the renewal was lost.

Thanks @Anguscl - this was something that was discussed with the match team, and we decided to go with the 4-3-3:
"I think you could argue both for Ange, I'd personally say it's a 433 with Maddison playing as an Advanced Playmaker in CM, with our rotations he'd become an AMC in possession and that saves having to make Sarr or Bissouma play as a roaming playmaker to get them higher for the Inverted Wing-Backs to come into midfield."

Not sure if this is worth starting a new thread over but when testing early access with Arsenal Declan Rice was the existing captain on my save as I could not choose to have Martin Ødegaard as ‘he doesn’t want to take on the role again’.
If this is across all saves, it is not correct as Ødegaard has not been replaced as captain.
Thanks @kipper - I am not sure what is happening, there, as Ødegaard is set as captain in the database.

Aug 31st is the cut off rather than the first game of the season.
Thanks @wesleymcuk and @llama3
@Brentford Alan is correct; we set the actual date injured in the database, and the rest is up to the game. We also set an estimated date of return to full training (if the player is yet to return irl), and sometime in April 2024 would seem reasonable for an injury such as Timber has sustained, wouldn't it?

Jack Hadley (2000247168) currently in game as GK Coach at Aldershot Town has joined Chelsea as U14 GK Coach
I suggest he is moved, and then marked NFE
Thanks @tv_capper - he's now at Charlton, GK Coach (U21 Team).
