Hi @PedroPaddy
Thanks very much for that very helpful post. I have been talking to our Bournemouth researcher, who comments:
"Regarding Lorient, Bill Foley currently holds a minority stake in the club, and Loïc Féry is still the owner and president of the club. Therefore, I do think that at the moment any affiliation would be somewhat limited, Foley’s intentions are very publicised – he wants to build a multi-club model, with Bournemouth as the priority club, and I believe he is still interested in one day acquiring the majority share of Lorient. So far there have been a couple of transfers (Ouattara and Faivre, as mentioned), which make me believe there could be a possibility of players going out on loan and even Bournemouth having first option on transfers. Also a pre-season friendly was held between the clubs this year, that could very well continue into the future. I expect the clubs to grow closer in the future, but it is hard to tell this early on whether there is a definite affiliation to put into the game."
So, we will keep a close eye on this, with a view to adding in the affiliation(s) as and when we have a clearer view.
The Canford Arena is already in the game, with the youth and reserve teams set to play their matches there. We will set up a future move date for the first team's training, which will also involve an upgrading of the facilities, to mirror the development as it happens in real life.
We think that for the finances to be described as "Okay" in-game is fine, considering the financial power of competitor Premier League clubs such as Man City and Newcastle:
"Financially, I know that Foley has made it clear he will spend as much as is possible to make the improvements to the club both on and off the field, but I agree with you that this does not suddenly make Bournemouth a financial juggernaut – finances are definitely secure and stable and I’m happy for the game to reflect that and not much more."
Thanks again!

Its been like this for the last several fms and they probably should look to change it as its quite disrespectful
Thanks for that, @Matthew Whalley and @chickenTiki-TakaMasala, and apologies for this issue.
The choices from the database "skin tone indicator" do not always correspond as desired to the appearance of characters in the match engine. This has been exacerbated by match engine lighting improvements, made this year. We will make sure that there is improved liaison between the Art and Database teams to make sure researchers are able to better reflect reality with the tools available, as this disconnect is the most likely source of any issues we’re seeing in the game.

Declan Rice is suspended for my first 2 x UCL games - he hasn't had any kind of carry over ban from UEL with West Ham in real life... I haven't played a UCL game yet for him to pick up a card
Apologies @llama3 - this is an error involving legacy data from the previous season. It has been fixed in the database, and that fix will be evident in a future update.

I suggest Russel-Denny is kept as his Full Name with his short name altered to just Denny

Newcastle away kit socks should be green with black tops not white https://shop.nufc.co.uk/products/junior-23-24-away-socks?variant=43680915259546&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkfuN_M-ZggMVggcGAB0HfgBZEAQYAyABEgKfFvD_BwE
Thank you @magpie1892 - at the time of datalock the only evidence that we had for the away kit socks was the Brighton match at the Amex, and Newcastle wore white socks for that match. I had checked the online club shop, and the green socks that are evident, now, are recent additions.

Jarrad Branthwaite needs a big boost in attributes. He has been a stand out at Everton.
Thanks for your input @Baines - Branthwaite has certainly had a good start to the season. He was reviewed thoroughly following his season at PSV, and we will be undertaking another in-depth review in January. How is he performing in-game for you (I am guessing that you have been playing FM as Everton manager)?

As I wrote in response to other similar reports, we appreciate all the people who have taken the time to raise this issue from the Early Access and apologies you've come across it in your save. It's something the team are currently investigating, but unfortunately isn't something we can quickly fix with a data change. As it's a code based issue, realistically it will require both time to address, and further time to make sure there aren't any unforeseen knock-ons from those changes.
It is a high priority issue the team hope to resolve as soon as possible in a future update.

@Pete Sottrel Thanks for the response. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'soaking in full detail'
Hi @Jaggra - apologies, I assumed that you had run several "soak" tests in order to come to the conclusion that Liverpool are over-powered in FM. A soak test is where you set yourself as unemployed, select FM/Detail Level "Maximum" for the playable club and international competitions that you are running, and then let the game play for a season (or more).

Thank you for your opinions, @acceptz.
The Brighton researcher has responded to your post in a respectful way. You do not agree with him, which is fine. However, stating your opinions as fact, using terms such as "obviously", "believe me", "if you played the game", and, in large, red font, calling out the research as "rubbish" does not make your opinions more valid than somebody who watches the player, live, every week, and makes informed judgements upon what he sees. It also does not make it very inviting for him to wish to communicate further with you on these matters. Please do consider these things before posting.

I believe that to be considered as "homegrown" at a club, the player needs to have played for 3 entire seasons at that club between the ages of 15 and 21, with similar rules in place to be considered homegrown with a nation. Jamal Musiala left Chelsea to join FC Bayern when he was 16.

Thanks @gcable1991 and @stevehafc - this looks as though it has been set correctly in the database - we are currently investigating how this could have come about, in-game.

@Nick OGS20 hey nick, good job on the Manchester united data. Just a question on the debt. In game the debt is being paid off very quickly and my debt servicing is at 162m per year. In the recent annual accounts, we are not paying any of the debt off just servicing the debt interest at 21m p.a.
I know this was the same in previous FM's but is there not a case for, if the game is going to make you pay off the debt, to extend some of the service dates?
Thanks very much @jonnyfresh - I will look into this.
