nfhockeyfan, I'm looking to swap a nation from CONCACAF and putting them in CONMEBOL, how did you swap Canada and San Marino? Thank you for any help.

Don't use any external scouting systems to check CA/PA or anything else under the hood.

Give the newgens a bit more character.

I think this is considered a general discussion.
Does the AI develop a counter to your tactics and formations over time so that way the user doesn't build a superteam so easily? I know in each season the AI will play you more competitively at the closing end of the season than at the beginning but what I mean is, does the AI or can it, over time adapt and evolve their own playstyle to either alter the way they play to mould your own or just develop a counter to your ”super-tactic?”
I could possibly give an example like SAF adapting over time to be able to stay at the top for 26 years comes to mind. When Pep Guardiola came onto the scene everyone assumed he’d dominate football forever with his tactic and players at Barcelona, but even though he left and changed and evolved his tactics over time so has world football been able to adapt and catch up to his playstyle.

Besides - it's all relative.
Thank you for your response.

I'm currently running 4 nations and 6 leagues with an estimated game speed of 5 stars; adding another league drops that down to 2 and a half stars.
Managing Inter and Gremio and adding Liga NOS would be fun too, is it worth it?

I still play 2D classic mode, I just love it and can see my tactic better, but yes I do have goals in 3D mode.

Nicolo Zaniolo is a great playmaking and goalscoring mezzela, Roberto Gagliardini is a good shout too.

Orginally posted in the tactics and training form but I think this is a better for this. I was wondering about a few things in regards to the DOF.
Does he sign players according to his tendencies?
Does he sign players and staff according to his tactical side ie pressing style etc.
If he has for talking sake say 20 and 20 for Jpa and Jpp will he sign really good players or is it still the same players if he had 10 and 10
Any ideas of responses would be welcome
This is an excellent question becuz I wonder if it's just a cosmetic role in game.

What about losing Copa Libertadores finals?
I took over Gremio middle of the season and guided them to the Copa Lib final against a dominant Santos team who already won the league the current season and last season and was also in the Final of the Copa Lib last season too.
I expected them to dominate the match and I was just happy to get the team to the Final overcoming a 3 goal deficit in the semi-final against Palmeiras winning 4-3 on aggregate. We took the lead in the ’56 but it was short-lived becuz they equalized after 10 mins. We then got an early goal in extra time and was waiting for the final whistle when Santos picked off a bad pass back to the keeper and scored in the ’120. The last-minute of extra time they equalised! It goes to penalties and we miss 2 kicks to lose the Final.

I gave up the save in the end but might have another go with them soon.
I’ll be interested if and when you do an update. 🤙🏿

Yes, I'm using a similar tactic albeit a bit different than yours.
F9 P/AF F9
AP-a B2B
RG
WBL-s CB-c BPD-d WBR-s
SK-d
Shorter passing, slower tempo, dribble less, wide, play through the middle, standard line, pass out the back, high pressing.

Try turning your wingbacks to support duty to help supplement the attack and provide width.
I'm using the same tactic but with F9s instead of DLF and a triangle midfield with a regista instead of a flat midfield. Also playing wide and slower tempo to keep possession. I have my defensive line playing standard instead of a high line to somewhat combat long balls over the top.
I'm interested in how your team is defensively.

hello I'm looking advice on playing with three strikers I'd like to play a quick short passing game
either using the wide defensive players to provide attackig width or with wingers/wide midefilders providing the attacking width Ideally i like to try and combine one of these with the option to mix it up and play through the middle depending on the opposition
I'm playing a 4-3-3 atm with slower tempo, shorter passing, play through the middle, high pressing tactic.
Back four:
WBL-s CB-c BPD-d WBR-s
My midfield consisting of a triangle:
AP-a B2B
RG
And my strikers:
F9 P/AF F9

I'll definitely be following this story/challenge.

I'm in the 4th season of my Inter save and still finding it tough.
Finished 3rd, 6th, and 3rd again but so far holding on to the 4th spot with some streaky results. I think my biggest problem is finding a striker that can score consistently or at the very least not waste so many chances.
I'm playing a 4-3-3 possession style, my team is good at defending but awful on defending corners, great at creating chances but get the occasional counter goal scored against me.

How are you doing now?

I would have to Goran Slavkoski(spelling?) an Inter youth player who was regarded as a younger version on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, if you tutored him with Zlatan or even if you didn't he would still bang them in, unfortunetly he didn't live up to the media hype and I cannot find this guy anywhere now.

I see no problems with the regens, everyone is always complaining about the faces but they look cartoonish to me. I think its pretty cool they way the regen faces alters as they get older.

4-1-4-1 help please
in Tactics, Training & Strategies Discussion

Nobody uses a true 4-1-4-1 any more. A flat midfield with your triangle in the middle and the lone striker up top.
