U like buy FM09, install it and - here comes science fiction - it works almost perfectly, and doesn't get on your tits. Or even more. U buy it and u don't have to wait another 4 months for a patch that makes it work (more or less). That would be an amazing scene in the future. cheers </div></BLOCKQUOTE> How about you just don;t buy the game. If it annoys you so much why bother. Believe it or not some of us like and enjoy thegame and realise and a game that is so complex as this wrong things are going to go wrong. I'm sure SI could do without the constant complaining of some of the people on this forum. Just let them get on with it. Rant over. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> You're not ranting, you're the only one in this thread who makes any sense.
  2. Well, if 100% would fill your stadium, you can easily have a percentage above 100%, the others are simply the fans that can't visite a game
  3. It should really be doable, seeing the fact that the game does simulate (bits) of unplayable leagues. I don't know how it's done exactly, but as an international manager I can see the number of matches a player played, a player who is from my international team and a club outside the playable leagues. Next to that, it's just a great idea
  4. Next to that, it's a question to ask in the Good Players and Team Guide-forum.
  5. Well, I'm playing as Ajax, and I get lots of players with Turkish, Maroccan or Antillian as 1st or 2nd nationality, so I'd say the way SI has implemented the regen-system is realistic.
  6. Getting back on the grammar question, in Dutch it's Ruud van Nistelrooy, or Van Nistelrooy if there isn't a first name or initial in front of the surname. Pretty sure of that. On the whole introduction thing, I'm a prototype lurker, been reading in this section for about three years with the occasional try-out for my own, none of them developed properly. I'm the youngster in here, looking at the others, with a mere 19 years of experience in this world. I'm from The Netherlands and I study Dutch language and culture at the University of Nijmegen, just started my second year. I support Ajax since being a kid, the arrogance that comes with this included To get some money I have a part-time job at a Field Marketing company, that's about all I have to say.
  7. I'll excuse in advance for not posting in the next three weeks, as I'll be on holiday and I'm not sure if I can get a hold on a pc. But don't worry, it'll continue after the 28th of July
  8. Certainly hope this boost will continue, it would be nice to get some life in the most beautiful forum
  9. Well, I've finally got the time on my hands to write a story again. Coming back on this forums I noticed a lot of former regulars left this place. Luckily Faramir is still posting his quality stories
  10. Is it just me, or is the forum indeed becoming lively
  11. <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by BobBev: Interesting. How about actually managing the U19s or U21s? I know it's an option to take over those in FM2006 - assume it's the same in FM2007 but not sure about earlier versions though. You do need to manage the seniors as well but that could be ignored for story purposes. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> That's a solution, but we should have a goal, and of course our goal needs to be the World Cup, which can't be won with U21 of U19 sides. U21 sides and U19 sides are also ineligible for the "oldies" side of the challenge I proposed.
  12. Just a thought, but seeing the popularity of the Ages challenge, wouldn't it be a good idea doing the same thing with international management? Might be a suggestion changing the ages a bit, like under 24 for the youth, and 30 or older for the oldies-way?
  13. Well, I'm not having problems with the game, I asked for a parent team twice and got one both times. I have to say, I'm not far enough in-game to tell about the newgens.
  14. I'm not a gloryhunter, don't get me wrong. I was planning to write a story, as all the little features giving us more options, writing about a hard-fought relegation battle is good, but I'm fired three times in 4 tries keeping Lancaster up in the Conference north.
