Once FM24 comes out I think that will be that. He's just improved too much. He came back for a 2 game loan spell last season and was REALLY good. We were keen to sign him but he wanted to play in the EFL. Then when he joined Dundalk I was really surprised, but after a goal and a clean sheet on his debut in a demolition of.... someone good, can't remember now, he suffered an infection (sepsis), in his leg and nearly died, (yes, this year!!!) He was out for a while but is back playing again and playing well. I don't expect him to be playing in Ireland for long. He's just too good imo.
Of all the saves I've ever done, Iceland and Gibraltar are the 2 that always seem to be trying to call me back. I properly loved them (Youth Only of course). Maybe in FM24.....

I know you are an iceland and gibraltar fan, I have the same affinity. fast leagues, special story , nice location. Gibraltar and Iceland itches me every year . Your topic(s) in gibraltar and iceland are still an inspiration to me . I hope on FM24 you give it another shot though your current story is also worth following.

We sign 4 hot prospects and one first team player.Emrani could feature already in the first team.
Bartolo is a hot striker prospect and will first train and play for the U23.
Douah will start at the U23 squad.
High potential and good personalty/determination but Cruz will start at the U23 squad.
Our first big steal from Lincoln, for free. Not sure if I will use him as a wingback or winger.European football

Forward
After De Barr he is the best striker in Gibraltar. Morgan had a great first season with 18 goals in 25 games.
Borge is one of my favourite young GIB players, at the moment he is my backup striker.
Bartolo was the biggest prospect that was not in our squad but i signed him for free from Man 62 at the end of the first season.2 -
Inside Forwards / Wingers
Vinet is our best GIB winger and is in the Gibraltar first team, not capped yet. I could have picked Anthony Hernandez but he has a central role.
Caushaj is not available yet for Gibraltar yet , he is born in Albania. But i think he will ready to play for Gibraltar in one year. I'm planning on using him (he wants to be loaned out).Not many options in the gibraltar squad but De Barr, playing for Wycombe (league one) is the best option for the winger position.
Richards is a big talent but i doubt he will come and play in and for Gibraltar. Currently in the U21 at Derby2 -

Central Midfielder - Defensive
A. Hernandez is our best defensive minded midfielder. We don't have any young prospect yet for this position.
Yahaya is the best GIB DMC in the database, started in holland at Twente before joining Europa FC . In 19/20 he joined Lincoln and he is still best option in the midfield.Pozo is the Best DMC/MC prospect in Gibraltar , playing at Cádiz C.F. He is one of my main targets. In real life also playing for the senior Gibraltar team.
Central Midfielder - Box to box
The second Hernandez in my squad and he plays together with his brother in the central midfield.
Rafie Emrani joined us for 21K from Spanish Linense . He will get his chance in the pre-season.
Another legend from Gibraltar ! Walker is playing for Lincoln and played a few seasons for Europa FC in the past. He is not on my shortlist because of the age but i would be tempted if i could sign him for only one season.
Fitzpatrick is a potential wonderkid from the Liverpool academy. He will never play in and for Gibraltar but at the moment he is connected to the rock !0 -
Central Defender
Jolley is our best option for the DC spot. he is also capable of playing at the DR position.Yeo is a DC prospect, we will keep an eye on his development at the U23 squad.
Annesley born in Londen, from Barnet/Chelsea and was at Blackburn for 5 seasons. He is playing for Dundalk( Ireland) at the moment and is our number one target for the DC spot.Carrington is one of the best DC prospects in the game.

Full-back Left
Olivero is our main option for the DL position and our captain.
Britto is a Lincoln player but he will join us for free . He will be our best prospect and is the biggest DL prospect from Gibraltar.Chipolina is a Gib legend but he is not on my shortlist anymore because of his age. Respect!
Rush is playing for Burton and is a hot prospect.Full-back Right
Barnett is our first choice DR. We don't have a DR prospect yet in our squad(s).
Ronan is the best DR option in Gibraltar, he is on my shortlist . No real young prospects (beside him) in Gibraltar yet.2 -

I will show you the options i have in my squad for every position and what the best options are in Gibraltar . The best senior player and best prospect.
GK:
Banda is our number one at Europa FC.Lopez is our hot prospect and backup goalkeeper.
Tom King is born in Plymouth, available for Wales but his second nationality is Gibraltar. He never played for Gibraltar but he is on my shortlist. He seems to be the best Gib goalkeeper in the database.
Tommy Banks has the highest PA according to my scouts (don't know why the report is gone?) . He was in the first intake at Lincoln and is not interested to join us (yet). This won't be easy in the future because of our rivalry3 -
Getting ready for the second season but i found a podcast and youtube episode of the life of our and Gibraltar's captain Jayce Olivero. Olivero was also very important in my FM21 save playing for me at St Joseph's.

I won't complete it this edition and not in Croatia for the first time. Since may and my second CL group stage phase participation in season 7 with Sesvete , i stopped playing FM. Since last week i started a career topic about Gibraltar and only singing GIB players (Youth academy challenge light version).

Wonderkid from Gibraltar ?
I was checking some intakes at major clubs and saw a great player at Liverpool that was born in.. Gibraltar !
Fitzpatrick will never play in Gibraltar (unless at the age of 45) and he will probably choose England as well.

I am very happy with the domestic double. Making money again next season through the European qualifiers and getting close to a European group stage is the main goal. Of course, we will also continue to grow and steal a player from another team here and there.

Yes after a few seasons we should be stronger as lincoln but I still think they can take over again afterwards if the level of players from gibraltar does not rise. Once the real players from my current squad start quitting, our level will also drop. I am only allowed to buy players with Gibraltarian passports and they are allowed to buy spanish and english etc. i hope they do that so the level of the league goes up. I will also help them out by buying players from them for a solid price (as soon as I have enough cash myself).

Malbon 23 is the best prospect, i like his personality en flair/technique/first touch. Newton 23 could be a fullback option in the future and Rowe 23 is a tall central defender with a good personality. Of course, after every intake, I have to check what has appeared in gibralter at the other teams. Hopefully I can poach a good player here and there.

Only one game this month and the players are on a winter break for one month.
Man 62 qualified for the champions playoffs with only 11 points. The only competition we seem to have is Lincoln , as expected.
I'm going to try and sign some of the above players. Most of them are not interested in talking with us.
Britto will join us on free from big rivals Lincoln. He is a first team player. He was also a very important player in my St Joseph's save on FM21.2 -
Youth intake preview - Class 2023
Long time since I have seen such a negative forecast but I shouldn't have expected anything else. My current squad is quite strong for Gibraltar and the youth intakes in gibraltar will be weak to average for the next 10,20 years and so much below the standard of my senior players.

27 out of 27 is more than i expected. i hope we can continue like this and it will be important to win one more time from Lincoln in the champions playoffs.
TransfersSigned a regen DC from Gibraltar, no information about his homegrown club. Brandon Stead is getting a chance to improve and is my first youth signing (U19). I'll tag those players with 'YT' label and give them a real face.
He received a first call-up for U18 Gibraltar.

Borge was also in my St Joseph's save, we talked about him in that FM21 topic. Morgan is a beast and the best player (attribute average) in the squad. I'm working on a Europa and competition first eleven, as soon as i'm able to field two different teams, i'll do try that for sure. I always use one tactic with different settings but you are right that i need to reconsider my European tactic because my 4 4 2 is way to extreme/attacking for Europe.
Barnett and Jolly should be playing on the right back position but i don't have many good central defenders left. that is why Benitez was still here (he currenlty is being sold). I only have two real central defenders in the squad. Benitez and Orihuela
Signed three very good Gib players with a lot of International experience (i'll post them soon) and two of them can play at the back but also they lack height. At the moment i have team full of fullbacks and no really good central defenders. The best GIB options are Annesley and Bernardo Lopes(lincoln).
Brandon Stead is a newgen, he was in the game after a few months and had no previous club. I give every newgen from Gib a new face(newgan) after intakes. My academy players receive a tag and the player that i poach from other teams like Jay Key receive a YT tag.
Not sure what i will do with Vinet , position wise but he will feature in my first team. Fitzpatrick is a crazy player and will never join us

My intake, don't know what to think about it but i also have some expectations regarding Rowe and Malbon
The personality Leader in on the negative personalities because they don't have any fixed attribute range, not sure if this is still correct on FM23 . You are right, this could be a positive personality depending on the hidden attributes. a Born leader for example has 20/20 on determination and is ranked higher
