  1. Tough shout for the US, might just squeak it. Belgium haven't been that impressive yet
  2. No real like for like in this squad. Boyd and Johnson have been left at home. Johannson and Wondolowski are quite different
  3. That intro was hilariously bad BBC. Dempsey up top; Zusi and Bedoya on the wings
  4. Dempsey's effort after Johnson cut into the box from the right the only other I can think of
  5. Sort of. He said he'd have a word with Dempsey as he didn't sing. What a mug
  6. Saw a keeper with these boots and different coloured gloves too. Awful. One uniform rule change I would support. In related bit of boot banter, England rugby prop Joe Marler had a pop at a Premiership ref for wearing white boots earlier in the season:
  7. No shame in losing 2-1 to Italy, even if there were a few names the average England fan won't have recognised in their squad. I thought we were good for 70 mins going forward and then we got a bit tired and started to run out of ideas. For me Rooney plays up top or not at all. He's a striker, I've never really liked him in the number 10 role or being pushed out wide. I thought it was quite surprising we didn't bring on Milner on the left to try to give Baines some help to deal with Candreva and Darmian. His energy was just what we needed to neutralise Italy's main source of attacks. I thought it was bananas to bring off Welbeck for Barkley and shift your best playing player (Sterling) for the first 60 odd mins out wide where he saw less of the ball. I don't think we're far from finding the right balance behind Sturridge but for me Roo isn't the answer. If I was Woy, I'd go for something like this vs Uruguay: Hart; Johnson, Cahill, Jags, Baines; Gerrard, Henderson; Welbeck, Sterling, Lallana; Sturridge Hope Sturridge is fit, looked to be limping when he came off. Happy to bring on Wilshire and Barkley to change things up and hope Ox is fit to be a sub as he has looked really good for England in recent games.
  8. Betfred: Get behind England every match they play in Brazil this summer with a free £10 in-play bet. To claim, simply stake £10 or more in-play on any Three Lions game (at odds of 1/2 or greater) and if your luck's not in, we'll give you a £10 Free Bet!
  9. It's probably land that is set to be cleared for grazing or logging. I doubt that they would be quite that inconsiderate to the environment for a publicity stunt
  10. Three at the back possibly? 3-5-1-1?
