@Jimbokav1971yeah, you did get my point but since English is my second language sometimes I over-exaggerate my point unintentionally. I seem to remember that all youth (facilities, coaching and recruitment) affect both ca/pa but recruitment affects the extent of players. I also seem to remember that all the coaches have some kind of impact on type and from where players come from. Also devs also keep on hammering the point that everything is interconnected so maybe coaches/hoyd knowledge of other countries, rep of coaches/hoyd, rep of club, general knowledge of club all make slight difference to quality of players coming through but more importantly the type of players and from where they come from. Junior Coaching does seem to be the most powerful for better players. Youth recruitment might take some time to 'kick in'. From which dates are you holidaying? From before intake preview and until youth intake appears?

Doesn't youth recruitment only affect how far your coaches and youth scouts find these players before they appear in youth intake? So maybe you could look at the variety of places these players come from and this only leads to slight PA/CA uptick, no? Whilst 20-20-20-1 would lead to incredibly high ca/pa it would only generate local players (for example, Sofia-based team would generate mostly local players) and someone with 10-10-10-20 would generate average/bad players but with varied places these players come from Can you test it out/check if it's valid?

How have I missed that this has been released? You've given me some work to do over the weekend. Always great to read your articles even though I have been playing and quite successfully for over 15 years. I just know that I will learn something that I didn't know before or you'll give me new idea. I'll definitely have some ideas and thoughts about the book once I go through it Cheers, Cleon!

Hi, but why does it end? Also in inbox it says assignment 'update' and it doesn't mention that I should go to completed focus section to look for players it suggests, and there's not one place where they are all displayed. Also, if there's like 15 focus assignments I'd have to go 15 times a month into completed and scroll further and further to get to focus that just finished. Can there be a screen where all suggestions from one focus are displayed and not dispersed in so many focus assigments when in reality it's only one?

I have uploaded multiple saves and reported as bugs few days after beta dropped and all they said is they cannot reproduce it and been ignoring the thread ever since.

Has this been investigated or looked at at all?

I haven't fully tested it yet but mid block or even low block with higher defensive line could work to tighten the space that opponent will have. Funnel them inside and drop more could work to avoid those pesky over the top balls. Also, DLF-s drops deeper than on last fm and if you can I'd use CF-S or F9. Another thing with reworked inside winger/forward roles actually hugging the line is that they could be viable now as Pep style wingers with stay wider. I need to workshop this a bit more

it works well this year as well my wingers are not dynamic enough so they were very tired. I think defensively it needs to dial back unless you've got extremely physical side

Assigning multiple scouts and analysts for one focus yields no reports, maybe try that? Also, there are so many players that are actually scouted that fit the criteria but don't ever get recommended. This is honestly so disheartening to me. I've spent most of the weekend trying different approaches to scouting and I'm getting 1-2 recommended players with what lads at the discord suggested and just resort to using player search to find players. For example this is my Austria focus as GNK Dinamo and noone is currently recommended. But in player search I have this lad who clearly fits the bill and has B+ grade And no, he's not in near matches or in progress These are all players that are interested in signing and fit the requirements for that focus and yet NONE of them are recommended I've got world wide package and this is the scout for austria Something is honestly wrong with recruitment focus and anything that I try does not give me same results as it did in FM22 and previous versions. I fired up fm 22 with my Everton save and look at all these recommended players that I get fortnightly!

I have fixed the issue, SI when you select the tactic in focus then you get no recommended players when you select Any tactic then you get recommendations

I got none, both as Dinamo Zagreb and as Bayern

Anyone able to get scouting recommendations from ongoing focus?

I do have assigned scouts. As you can see there are six scouts assigned and there are players in ongoing but never in near matches or recommended. I have raised this issue in bug tracker and waiting for SI staff to reply.

I've got the same issue Over 45 days ongoing scouting, no recommended players And then there's all these players that were scouted and were not recommended I've let it scout on holiday for over the whole summer transfer window and same thing happens - no recommended save is called - "test - bayern scouting.fm" It clearly is broken and needs adjusting. No way should my 6 scouts and 6 analysts say they don't have anyone to recommend to me. Not even near match. I've then done priority scouting with 6 scouts and 8 analysts for 20 days and this is what they've come back with...nothing save for that is "test - bayern scouting - priority.fm" Uploaded files test - bayern scouting.fm test - bayern scouting - priority.fm thanks! edit - if need be i can upload the issue with save files as separate thread
