  1. I've been using this tactic with a russian first division team Krasnodar (media prediction 8th).

As you can see it's working out pretty well. The offense works great, however the defence is often in trouble. I can accept the fact wingers can cause trouble, since my own are playing so high up the pitch. However there seems to be too much space in front of the defense line for the opposition to play around. Of course it doesn't help that my defenders aren't that good. Anyone gotten around to tweaking this side of the tactic? Thanks for posting this btw, seems to work in lower leagues.

  2. I tried switching to the 3 AMC approach with arrows up as others have suggested in this thread. It certainly made my play better. I comfortably won the title as Dynamo after struggling earlier in the season. The attack often rests in the empty space between the opposition defence and midfield, making deadly runs from there. Good stuff. Two of the 3 amc's are strikers and it seems to work good enough. However I have noticed the central amc, in my case Ermin Zec, is often the target of passes. He is pretty much a poacher and not exactly a creative player, so I'd prefer someone else passing the ball to him instead (when he is up front)..He seems to do ok nevertheless, won the top goalscorer of the league with 17 nettings.

  3. I've been using the 8/5/10 tactic with my current Dinamo Kiev team. The team is pretty good overall, especially when compared to the other teams in the UPL. I was using the goalstorm tactic but it wasn't working too well against other top teams in the league like Shaktar (I was lucky to draw 1-1 at home). After changing to this one my first match went pretty well, I hammered Slavia Prague 5-0. I guess after a few games the AI has started to figure out how to counter the new tactic. Lost to Dnipro 1-3 at home, got beaten by AZ and Arsenal in the CL etc. Against mediocre and bottom teams I do okay, but really struggle with the top ones. They tend to dominate the game and I feel lucky to even draw the matches.

I suck at tactics so I can't really pinpoint what's wrong, especially when I only watch key highlights. My teamtalks probably suck, though I've been reading up on them lately. My fullbacks aren't too good defensively and often I feel my two central defenders are positioned really down the pitch by themselves. Scary stuff for ball losing situations. Oh and it probably doesn't help that my central defence is rather slow.
