  1. Thanks again for all the advice given in this thread btw, some invaluable information that helped me out big time. All the best and have a great Christmas and New Year everyone.
  2. No you absolutely right, the MSI one for the money seems like a better laptop. Gigabyte i read a few bad things about the sound, keyboard and touch pads. If i had seen the MSI one i'd have gone for it for sure, don't know how i missed it. Oh well it's done now and the Lenovo one has been despatched, just gonna have to bite the bullet on this one.
  3. Ok i just ****ed up and spent 1000 on a laptop. http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/59423062-Lenovo-Y50-70_1659103.html Comes with 3 year warranty. I really hope i didn't just do something i'll regret haha!!!! hopefully i'll be able to try out some other games like Chivalry on it, i've been wanting to play that game for years.
  4. Yeah thanks. I'm waiting on John Lewis to get it back in stock. Comes with a 3 year warranty from there.
  5. Gonna go with this i think. http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/N550JK-CM531H-ASUS-N550JK-CM531H_1669293.html
  6. Ok after reading more into it i'm definitly going to pass on the U processor one. Thinking of this now http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7-16GD11-1408-MSI-CX61-2PF-1408UK_1699913.html , i just wonder if i can get better for the money.
  7. http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-15-7537/pd?oc=cn75317 This also looks really good, with the 16gb of ram. I know it has a U at the end of the processor name, but i've read some reviews and recommendations that make me think it's not that big of a deal.
  8. Ok i think i'm gonna pull the trigger on the Cube Chameleon, is there absolutely nothing better for that price? (£700) and also is it worth paying the extra £50 for the 17 inch version? i've never gamed on a laptop, i think i'd prefer the 17 though. What size do you all prefer?
  9. Those Cube laptops look pretty good, which size of screen do you guys prefer?
  10. Couldn't tell you if it's a good laptop or not i know jack **** about these things, but using the code TDX-PKJK gets you £20 off bringing it down to £409.
  11. The only reason was for the credit buy now pay later 0% option. I have a bit of money saved but i would have liked to have paid it up at 0%. After reading that guys story i think i'll pass on them lol
  12. Anyone see any decent deals over here http://www.very.co.uk/electricals/laptops/e/b/4873.end?sort=price,0 I'm willing to go to around £600. Thanks for all the advice in the thread btw, doesn't go unappreciated.
  13. I've been looking around and just can't find anything that i'm confident enough to pull the trigger on, anyone seen anything decent on the sales for around £500? need something that will last me a few years and play FM well.
  14. After comparing to other websites that one is actually only around £50 in savings. Obviously they are going off of the high RRP.
  15. Hey Eugene, if you a have a min, could you have a look at some of these black friday deals Save On Laptops are doing and let me know if they are good value? Savings of £170 on this one ASUS X550CC-XO016H. I'm just needing something that will play FM really well and unfortunately i know feck all about computer specs.
