ok ive tried to play good honest tactics that do not exploite the ME or AI and try to play good short quick passing and attractive football and it just aint having it. im sick and tired of domination and somehow the AI and ME finding ways to f*** me over. SO im going back this. F*** SI for F***ing this game up for people that dont want to exploit the ME and play a decent 4 4 f*** 2.

Oh right, because Hough didnt specify that it was the middle striker that needs to be good in the air, the way it reads suggests the 2 outta forwards need to be good in the air.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, If you playing with the tactic (i'll use the classic as an example)

You will notice that the 2 outer forwards move onto the wing then either cut inside or cross so players with good jumping heading ability would be better.

Pace isn't really needed

If they move out to wings and cut inside or cross, why do they need good jumping heading? they would need dribbling, crossing, creativity etc? or am i missing somthing lol.

ok i think i officially prefer the beta on wizard. i dominate possesion, shots, ccc and feel more safer with it. i feel a little un easy with the classic like i could actually loose and i dont like its look (which is a personal thing lol).

So mr hough, its safe to assume the classic tactic is tighter at the back than the wizards BETA? can you tell us what changes there are in the sliders to make it tighter? and coulnt you apply these to the beta to make that as tight?

Then, my question. This tactic uses 3 Forwards. Which one are the advanced forwards and which one the deep lying forwards?

The central is deep lying and the 2 on the outside are advanced forwards.

I'm working on others tactics i'm going to do a winger one now though as i know alot of people like using wingers

I have been using the beta version on my spurs team. i was around 5th or 6th in nov/dec in my first season when i applied the beta version. Ended up winning the league fairly easily.

But i think your right, it does seem abit leaky. i would race into a 2,3,4-0 HT lead and let in a few goals in 2nd half. but that is probably due to complacency which you can eradicate. when i say dont let performance drop at HT it helps. so if you install this into your players over time it should be perfect

im going to carry on using the beta as i dont like classic view tactics. but if one day you do tighten it up at the back then i will gladly try.
