no team have ever really had an average attendance close to 2000 let alone 1000 and yet they go up. Sponserships too, its more of a making promises pact which only a few teams don't live up to.  But yeah you are correct that Honda would probably require a much larger investment if they change, they have an U18 team and have facilities, just not a suitable stadium. it is still technically their choice on whether they want to get promoted each year. Either way its a JFL issue not a J3 one, and as it is not in game, theres not much that can be done as licensing are only involved with J1-3.

Promoted JFL teams average attendance over the past decade:

    2022: Nara Club (2,456), FC Osaka (2,563)

    2021: FC Iwaki (2,121)

    2019: FC Imabari (3,101)

    2018; Hachinoe (2,208)

    2016: Numazu (2,332)

    2015: Kagoshima Utd (2,624)

    2014: Renofa Yamaguchi (2,602)

Its not even a matter of changing. Its a matter of pure geography and fan-base. They have to share the city with Iwata - who are basically J-League old money.

  2. Ko Itakura - favoured personnel --> Daisuke Takagi (45035220) [friend], Kaoru Mitoma [former team-mate]

Ao Tanaka - favoured personnel --> Wayne Rooney [idol]

From the old Frontale player bios. In the case of Itakura-Mitoma bromance, I can't find the article about this (it was in an old matchday programme) but they basically came up through the Frontale youth team together and then when Kaoru moved to Europe, Ko kinda mentored him a lot. They've known each other since they were like 11 years old.

  3. I honestly would just cap promotion at those four teams that currently hold the J3 License, with Reliac and Kochi eligible beyond 2025. Honda FC are not a self-sustaining club. They have one the smallest grounds in the JFL, their average attendances have never gone beyond 1,000 and they still employ company players that operate on part-time contracts. The reason they don't go up, is because it would financially cripple them to go professional.

  4. Nations League semi in 2029 got played at the Marcel Desailly Arena. Again, nobody plays there. Odd name considering Desailly never played for Lens.

Also in  2025, the UNL finals was played in Nottingham and Wembley. Fine. Except Wembley hosted the 3rd place playoff and Nottingham hosted the final. Should have been switched.

In 2028, Germany hosted it. And they chose to host games at the Olympiastadion in Munich. Not the Allianz Arena, the Olympiastadion that was built in the 70s.

  5. Ryo Hatsuse has been one of the better full-backs this season but he was woeful last season. But this season he's back to the form he showed earlier in his career.

As a whole the stats are pretty much based on the end of the 2022 season, rather that what is happening right now this season. Its why Damiao is still appearing as a world-beater for us.

  6. Seems like stadiums are completely busted. Kashima are now moving into a 54,000 seater Zico park despite the fact their average attendance at their current stadium is 28,000.

Same deal with Nagoya. Although the Nagoya stadium is being renovated for 2025 not 2028.

I think this might be down to reputation. Both Grampy and Kashima have fairly big fan-bases in Japan.

  7. Its Jordon Brown not Jordan Brown --->  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordon_Brown_(footballer,_born_1994)

You had the same mistake in FM22 and didn't fix it.

Also I'm fairly sure HKFC aren't amateur anymore. They had to ditch their amateur status to comply with new AFC regulations requiring all top division teams to hold a professional playing license. Its one of the reasons why Sangmu were relegated in Korea. HKFC signed a ton of players on professional contracts at the start of the season. So you have guys in the team that are all on amateur contracts, which isn't true at all. Only a few are.
