  1. The Brief We were going for the threepeat as 1.Bundesliga champions and the board brief was to Finish in the Champions League Qualification Spots this season in the league, building on our title-winning season. In the DfB Pokal, the board want us to make the Quarter Finals. Finally, the board want us to make the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League. Our budgets were £5m in the wages and £210m transfer budget. The Results Great start this season. I hope it'll carry on throughout the season. The Transfers OUT AMRC Bruno Waack (£55m, Juventus) D/WBR Ciaran O'Reilly (£600k, FC St.Pauli) GK Adrian Lauer (£150k, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim) DM/MLC Soren Jarosch (£1.7m, 1. FC Köln) Sad to see Jarosch go, I was hoping he'd stay until the end of his career, but he wanted out and hopefully he'll want to be a coach so I can bring him into my backroom staff. Waack was a victim of my desire to shake things up. Needed to clear the AMR logjam and for a lovely price too. O'Reilly never really developed at the club and it's best for all if he moves on. Lauer was also a logjam victim

  4. So, we had some decent attendences at the pre-World Cup training camps. Sadly, Muric and Waack were cut from the German squad and Sarigul was dropped from the final 23 of the Turkish squad. So, eventually, we had 8 players representing their countries at the 2046 FIFA World Cup in Japan How did they get on? Let's find out! Lebanon - Out, Group Stage Ali Farhat's second attempt at the World Cup did not go as well as his first as his Lebanon side crashed out in the Group Stage, losing 0-4 to Colombia and then drawing 0-0 with Croatia. with both players playing every minute United States - Out, Third Round Oliver Lovett and Jovan Busch's USA navigated the Group Stage eventually, losing 0-1 to Serbia with Lovett playing all 90 mins and Busch subbed in the 63rd minute, and then winning 1-0 against Syria, with again Lovett playing all 90 and Busch subbed off, this time in the 78th minute. Busch was on the bench for the whole Second Round clash with Morocco, as Lovett played all 90 mins in the 2-0 win. In the Third Round loss, 1-2, to the Netherlands, there was a turn of events. Busch started and played all 90 mins, whilst Lovett was subbed on 49 mins as the USA crashed out. Germany - Out, Second Round A disastrous World Cup for Fabian Demmig and Rudiger Derichs's Germany as they struggled through the Group Stage. Even before the tournament started, Derichs suffered a hamstring injury on his Germany debut, forcing him out of the World Cup 26. Their campaign started with an awful 0-0 draw with Comoros, then didn't get much better in Game 2, giving up a 90+4 minute equaliser to United Arab Emirates in a 1-1 draw. Finally, Scotland put them out of their misery on penalties after a 0-0 draw in the Second Round. Demmig played every minute, picking up the Player of the Match in the Second Round clash. Romania - Out, Quarter Final In sharp contrast, the World Cup for Marius Tomas and his Romania side was a good one. They sailed through the Group Stage, beating Mexico 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with South Africa. They then faced New Zealand in the Second Round, who they comfortably dispatched 2-0. Then came their crowning glory as Tomas made a Player of the Match contribution with two assists as Romania beat Portugal 3-2 after extra time in the Third Round. Sadly the run came to an end with a 0-1 loss to Spain in the Quarter Finals, but Tomas played every minute of their campaign. Turkey - Out, Quarter Final A relatively successful World Cup for Okay Cakir and Turkey. A 3-2 win over Suriname booked their place in the next round, even with finishing the Group Stage with a 0-2 loss to Morocco. It took extra time, but they navigated their way past Serbia in the Second Round, 3-1, to advance to the Third Round, where they faced Cape Verde. This game was notable for Cakir's minutes streak to end, being subbed in the 61st minute of a 2-1 win, having played every minute up to that point. Their run came to a screeching halt in the Quarter Finals, losing 1-4 to France, with Cakir suffering the ignominy of being subbed in the first half...
  5. The Stats Bundesliga Table Aug - Dec Results Jan - May Results DfB Pokal Results UEFA Champions League Results Player Stats Commerical Summary Data Hub The Eyetest We retained the title by the skin of our teeth, finishing 1st in the Bundesliga on the final day as rivals FC Bayern Munich lost to third placed Borussia Dortmund to hand us the title by a point! Dortmund's win put them level with second so the top three finishers were seperated by just a point. Striker Adnan Muric led the way with 12 goals, with him also coming up with 6 assists for the season . We also squeaked the DfB Pokal, with a Final win on penalties against 1.Bundesliga challengers SV Werder Bremen, after drawing 0-0. We also retained the DfL-Supercup. beating RB Leipzig 4-1 on the night for a magnificent domestic Treble. We looked at our fixtures in this season's UEFA Champions League and decided our best way back into the Champions League for the next season was to play the backups. So we finished 30th in the league and out at the Group Stage. Stats-wise, we finished 3rd on Goals Scored and 1st on Goals Conceded, by some mile, a full 11 goals better than second place. The Misc Lefteris Karakitsos finished second in the German U-17 Player of the Year Award I won the German Players Manager of the Season Award Tim Brodwolf won the German Player's Player of the Year Award, Marius Tomas was second and Fabian Demmig finished third, completing another clean sweep
  6. When we went the second time around for pens, I was worried a little, yeah
  7. A very smart idea, regarding your choice of domestic or Europe. I have done the very same thing and tossed out Europe in order to get back in for the last few seasons
  8. That’s entirely fair, I think. I’ve certainly spent the last few FM’s thinking of saves as more projects than just idly picking a team and running with them. I have another save in mind if I can win the CL and CWC on my current save and that’ll be a brilliant project

  10. My thoughts? Yes, the realism is not the biggest thing. But the PROJECT would be the biggest thing. When Al-Fayed took over our club, we had the likes of Mickey Adams as manager, but after we had Keegan in the Second Division and Jean Tigana in the First/Championship. I think if you approach the whole thing as a project in itself, the move is a good one and fun IMO
  11. Looking forward to this, buddy!

  14. Well, we've got some excellent prospects in this intake, which is apparently ranked as Excellent. Let's check those prospects out M/AML Soren Borg - Work Rate: 13, Pace 15, Techinque 14 - DNA: PASSED We've finally got some good talent in on the left side. He'll be close to the first team pretty soon as well AMRC/ST Stipe Ivanjko - Work Rate: 11, Pace 13, Techinque 15 - DNA: PASSED What a weird octogon. But I think he could be an excellent alternative to Muric up front. D/DM/MC Marc Wohlart - Work Rate: 12, Pace 11, Techinque 14 - DNA: PASSED A good prospect for the Segundo Volante role and he will be a first team fixture as long as he develops well How Local Is Your Intake? This revived segement is to find out any players from Cottbus or a 10-mile surround and keep an eye on them to see if we can get a true homegrown superstar! 1. Simon Steinhauer Simon is the only prospect within an hour's drive of Cottbus. Probably won't amount to much, but we'll give him every chance.

  16. The Stats Bundesliga Table Results to date Full Stats Shooting Tackling Passing Possession Defending The Eye Test We made another executive decision this season to ignore the Champions League this season, once again using the backups in order to give us the best chance to be able to make it back next season. It's again paid off as we're currently 3 points behind Bayern, with 13 games to go. We're still in the DfB Pokal, but we've had some favourable draws luckily. Adnan Muric once again tops our goalscoring charts so far, with 10 goals and, unexpectedly, Bruno Waack tops the assist charts with 6. The Transfers OUT All we have done this window is send three players out on loan.
