  4. FIFA Club World Cup 2049 Well, we had a decent run in the CWC.. After smashing Al-Hilal behind a Hoxka hat-trick, we squeaked past Liverpool thanks to a Fatih Sarigul goal early in the second half. Dejvi Hoxha popped up once again with a winner midway through the second half against Paris Saint-Germain, which put us in the Final against Manchester United. And we survived a United missed pen to win 1-0 again, with Fatih Sarigul drilling home in the 40th minute. We had finally won every competition we could as a club! New kit debuted in this tournament too
  5. Welcome to Loan Watch. Our feeder club is SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2.Bundesliga. This will allow me to be able to send my best prospects off for meaningful football for a season. This season, we sent out D/DM/MC Samuel Kroos, DL/DM/MC Slavko Stanojevic, M/AML Simon Steinhauer, D/DM/MC Marc Wohlert, ST Marco Gudde, and DM/AMC Salif Ble. The club avoid relegation from 2.Bundesliga by two points, finishing 15th Marc Wohlert was the real workhorse of this season, racking up a monsterous 3,240 mins with Samuel Kroos getting the best Avg. Rating with 6.78. On the flip side, Slavko Stanojevic only appeared for 306 mins, mostly from the subs bench. Marco Gudde scored the most goals with 6, but had the worst Avg. Rating with a devilishly average of 6.66.
  6. It's time for the UEFA Euro U-21 Tournament 2049, and for this, we had 8 attendees. Well, this is, once again, an endorsement of what we are doing as a club with our youth players. How did they get on? Let's find out Austria U21 - Out, Group Stage Antonio Gros, a toiler in our Cottbus II side, was called up after just three caps for the U-21 side, however he played just the last 7 minutes of the entire tournament for Austria, having been an un-used sub in the 0-0 draw with Italy U-21's and the 2-0 win over Croatia U-21. He finally saw the pitch in the 83rd minute of the 0-5 loss against Republic of Ireland U-21's, sending them out at the Group Stage England U21 - Out, Quarter-Final Matt Holdsworth & Jack Donaldson, were our representatives for England at the tournament. Holdsworth was subbed off in the 73rd minute of the 2-0 win over Scotland U-21's and then subbed in the 60th minute with a minor injury in the 6-2 win over Germany U-21's. Holdsworth was subbed yet again in the 84th minute of the 3-0 win over Spain U-21's, with Donaldson making his first appearance from the bench on the 69th minute. Nice. Both players were on the pitch for the full 90 minutes as England lost 0-1 to the Netherlands U-21 in the Quarter Final Germany U21 - Out, Quarter-Final Thom Maurer, Samuel Kroos, Soren Borg & Lefteris Karakitsos were our German representatives at 2049 Euro U-21. A good start as Maurer and Karakitsos played all 90 mins of the 1-0 win over Spain U-21's, with Karakitsos scoring the winner. All four players made it onto the pitch for the 2-6 kerbstomping by England U-21's. Borg and Kroos making their bow from the bench, with Karakitsos and Maurer playing all 90 mins. They made up for it with a 5-2 win over Scotland U-21, with all four players playing 90 mins, Karakitsos scored the fifth and Borg was named POTM! Sadly, they were knocked out of the Quarter Finals on penalties after a 0-0 draw with France U-21. All four played some part, with Karakitsos missing a penalty in the shootout. The Netherlands U21 - Out, Semi-Final Wim Egberts, our starting left back, was ever-present in the Netherlands' run to the Semi Final. They started with a 2-0 win over Belgium U-21's, with Wim scoring a goal in the 3-1 win over Poland U-21 and in the final match, losing heavily 0-3 to France U-21. They knocked out England U-21's, 1-0, in the Quarter Finals and then 2-4 in extra time to France U-21

  12. Still going! The save will basically end when Tomas retires. I don't think I could continue without him
  13. Our worst showing for quite a few years tbh. Novak will hopefully be a staple going forward

  17. It doesn't look the best intake, as shown by the AVERAGE rating. Still, lets look at the top 3 prospects. AMRL/ST Devonte Ward - Technique 10, Pace 13, Work Rate 5 - DNA: FAILED Love this guy for a prospect, but his work rate is appalling. Hopefully, his Determination will bolster that. AMLC Daniel Bittroff - Technique 16, Pace 10, Work Rate 16 - DNA: PASSED This is a prospect that passes the DNA test and I think could blossom into maybe an AMC/AMR prospect, if he gets his Dribbling up M/AMC/ST Burak Yucel - Technique 15, Pace 9, Work Rate 9 - DNA: FAILED An extremely skilled AMC, but he needs a lot more rounding to get into the first team How Local Is Your Intake? This revived segment is to find out any players from Cottbus or a 10-mile surround and keep an eye on them to see if we can get a true homegrown superstar! 1. Çağrı Çalik Thi This guy will do well in the IFB role if he bulks up and gains some strength 2. David Unversucht He's not likely to make the first team, but I'm happy to be wrong about this 3. Michael Schneider A possible candidate to play in the Segundo Volante role. 4. Robert Aliyu Another full back which we need depth in.
  18. This is next season's lineup without moves. Let's look through to see when/where there are issues. GK - We've got ourselves set for at least the next two seasons. Then it's who will make way for Novak DR - Luszkiwicz has managed to hold off Dreher who we re-sold and Berrenberg is a very distant backup DCR - Brodwolf is king. Donaldson seals his backup slot DCL - We're sticking with the first two, but there is a real dearth of youth talent in the ranks DL - Egberts is still my #1, with Holdsworth displacing Aydin as backup, Karbstein will come back into the third slot DMCR - Morina is now first choice, with Mehmeti as backup. Zorn is de-facto third choice, but there is space to talent to rise DMCL - Cakir moves to first choice DM, with Kroos developing behind him. Boateng is a very distant third choice ML - The Bagman always delivers and Borg is a very decent backup. Tommi Ressig reappears as third choice. AMR - The Carpathian Messi is the best player in the league in my opinion. Justin Distelhorst has moved into backup and we're a bit stuffed on third choice AMC - Hoxha is clear first choice, Gashi moves into the middle as a backup and Jentszch sits in third choice. ST - Sarigul, Muric and Busch. Same as it ever was
  19. The Stats Bundesliga Table Results to date Full Stats Shooting Tackling Passing Possession Defending The Eye Test Pretty much a repeat of last season, as we're in second place behind FC Bayern Munich. Fatih Sarigul is leading the club with 19 goals so far and we're into the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League and latter stages of the DfB Pokal so we're currently having a decent season. Tomas is getting more and more injured though, which can only be a bad thing going forward. The Transfers OUT ML/AMR/ST Yannick Krause (£2.5m, FC St.Pauli) DR Eduard Dreher (£3m, FC Utrecht) D/WBL Omer Aydin (£7.5m, Borussia Mönchengladbach) It was a clear out of players who just wouldn't play, or wanted more than they were worth
