[Player suddenly 'lost' natural ability in role]

I've had a weird situation on 19.3.5 – my player has gone from a Natural Trequartista to Ineffectual within the space of six days, despite being a natural since he's been at the club. He trains in the position, and has played the majority of his games there.

Is this something you'll even look at now that FM2020 is out? At the very least, it would be nice to get it confirmed as a bug for my own sanity.

I’ve just started at a club with no Assistant Manager, and all of my players have no roles, just “This player has no suitable roles for this position”. This goes right down through to the U18 squad.

 

is this deliberate, or should I report a bug?
