    FMM now stuck behind a Netflix subscription!?

    Sports Interactive have largely themselves to blame for failing FM Mobile sales.

    • The game gets next to no advertising or marketing compared to other versions. We hear nothing about new features and screenshots until about a week before release.
    • In press releases, FMM is generally a footnote with only a vague paragraph or two dedicated to it. In my opinion, that reflects SI's feelings about the title.
    • The FMM technical team is tiny compared to other versions, hence there's only so much development that can be done, resulting in some users feeling that the game changes little from year to year.
    • Piracy is an issue, but I don't feel they've done much to counter this and seem to have just given up in the hope they can shut down the game or sell up to the highest bidder.

    I've loved FM for decades. I've loved FMM for almost a decade now. This decision is unquestionably a low point in my time playing this title. I have a Netflix account but am really in two minds whether to play next year's version.

    SI have done FMM dirty for years imo, like an unwanted stepchild, resulting in modest sales and they are now trying to find a way out.

    EVERY adult on the planet has a mobile phone. You can't tell me that there are less potential FMM users out there than there are full FM users.

    More control over B teams would be nice also like to choose which players "must" play on what positions and to choose tactics.

    There are many more small tweeks that could make this game milion times better.

    I do sometimes but it's not a silver bullet and doesn't always work. 

    For example, if I'm playing a team with two strikers, I'll play with three centre backs to give me a spare man at the back. 

    If I'm playing a team with only wing backs out wide, I'll play with both full backs & wingers and set up to attack down the  flanks (effectively doubling up on the wing backs). 

    Against 4-4-2, I start with a 4-1-2-2-1 narrow to dominate the centre midfield.

    Sounds like he needs to be Spanish with Basque as second nationality.

     

    The same thing happened when last year's version was released. Aymeric Laporte was French/Spanish. The devs changed his details so he become Spanish with Basque as 2nd nationality.

     

    I also remember last season the GK ,Unai Simon, had played in the Euros and had about 10 Spain caps, but when the game was launched he had none.

     

    This makes me question the accuracy of whoever is gathering the Spain data.

    Game Crashed

    Same here. It was fixed for 2 or 3 weeks but has come about again since the last update.

    I've mentioned this elsewhere but I figure this forum would get the most feedback. 

    I'm on Oneplus 8T on Android OS 13.

    Every time I lock my screen on the new version, the FMM app restarts and then freezes on the Sega/SI screen (so I have to force stop it). 

    It's really frustrating as any time I leave my phone to pop upstairs or go do something, I end up losing progress if I haven't saved it recently.

Cant think of a wing player scoring 3 per game in any team of the world right now.

     

    Agree 100% right here. IF's were definitely overpowered in previous versions.

    These won't always work straight away, especially if the person has a problem personality - best of luck :)

    Thanks. I'll give that a try.

    With regards to getting good performances out of him, I often bring him off  the bench these days as his morale is so low, so that probably doesn't help.

    How to handle 'Has no faith in manager'

    Does anyone know how to win back a player's 'faith' in this game? I finished 15th in my first season with Sampdoria. My star striker decided he 'has no faith in his manager'. 2 seasons later I've finished 3rd and got to the Europa League SF's but the big crybaby still hasn't got over it. I'm prob gonna sell him this summer as I can't stand him sulking around the training ground anymore. Any tips?

    Started a game in Germany with 1860.

    Good shout. I've asked for this on and off for a while, but no luck. Pretty sure there was a squad position filter years ago but when the UI got overhauled it was removed. I'd find it extremely useful especially when starting with a new team where you don't really know the players.
