FM24 Touch Switch - Keyboard and Mouse

Does anyone know if it is possible to play FM24 on the Switch and connect a mouse and keyboard? I have the Switch dock and i'm thinking, potenitally naively that it should just be a case of plugging the mouse/keyboard into the USB ports and away you go but not sure if that would actually be the case.
