  1. The wire? Enjoyed reading this - a lot of really good detail. Looking forward to seeing how it develops. I'll be following for sure.
  2. Sorry for the bump, but I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading this thread. It motivated me to start something similar on FM16. I have reached 2020 and if I make it a decade in,I may start writing about my progress.
  3. Thanks, but still having the same issue:(
  4. Firstly, thanks for a great skin. I am however having one problem. When I click on some players profile the game freezes and it dosent go to that screen. However, I can view other pages on that player, like contract, scout report, attributes and so on. It seems to be a fairly random which players this effects. When I change skins, the same players don't have this issue. Any ideas of what this could be?
  5. (3. Cool name. Yep, nailed this one. ) As reasons go its hard to go past this one
  6. Paul - Thanks, I've enjoyed reading your updates and I love how you are showing such steady progress. It seems so realistic Romanista - The fierce rivalry was one of the reasons I chose my club. I am looking forward to becoming a noisy neighbor Virilem - Great recovery to finish mid-table after a horror start. Franck Julienne looks like a beauty, where did you get him from? Edit - Haha actually it is a small world, http://imageshack.com/a/img538/8793/Roiu9S.png, he signed for us a couple of years ago http://imageshack.com/a/img537/2479/X3wrmn.png ArranoBeltza - I can see why you love Altamira. At 21 he still has time to develop further as well. Have any bigger clubs been sniffing around him?
  7. Hi guys, thought I would join in the fun in this thread. I holidayed until 2016 to try and get a team I was interested in. Eventually I came across Lyon-Duchere who were formed in 1963 and of course share the beautiful city of Lyon with their vastly more famous neighbors Olympique Lyonnais. As well as completing this challenge I would also love to knock OL out of their complacency. The Lyon Wiki page dosent even list us as a club in the city! Profile - http://imageshack.com/a/img540/3556/Q3ikXo.png Manager Information - http://imageshack.com/a/img673/3389/pvQ0HJ.png Club Competition history - http://imageshack.com/a/img673/5219/sPEOc0.png Club General - http://imageshack.com/a/img661/3351/GhISA8.png Club Facilities - http://imageshack.com/a/img540/7222/5uk2JJ.png Interestingly enough we are not favorites for the drop and the season preview has us finishing lower mid-table but we shall see! The squad looks like it has some strength in the wing back area so we will start with some kind of 5 man defense formation but with the pitch description listed as terrible I'm leaning towards a direct style. edit - tried to get a club logo at the top but I managed to stuff it up..
  8. Born: Solihull Borough (They wearnt Moors when I was born!) Living: Melbourne City, I suppose, but under great duress..
  9. Hungary's reset date is still 20th June
  10. Looking forward to attempting this challenge after full release
  11. Interesting Quacky as one of the things that attracted me to Hungary over Holland was the 16 team leagues and so only 30 games. I'll have to check out the cup competitions as I hadn't considered that. I saw that there was a long winter break but it still seamed the fixtures were still spread out enough so that you arent playing 2/3 times a week.
  12. Hi Guys, I'm planning on joining this thread for FM15. I'm split between Holland and Hungary at the moment. I'm worried that Holland might not quite be in the spirit of the challenge but Hungary might be far too hard when it comes to the CL! Indecisive I know. I was going to do Dafuge's but I've spent most of the last part of FM14 with Solihull and I want a break from the English leagues.
  13. Sorry for the late bump...but I am looking at a 3-4-3 formation. How did you go with this? I'm thinking about the same type of philosophy in terms of style but looking at a more flat formation to include 3 strikers as I have taken over a club with 6 forwards and not a lot of flexibility in the squad or the financial state of the club.
  14. Hi Neil, Yes I have the Berkamp14 transparent skin, & logo megapack that worked ok in FM2013 Is there an easy way to find out which image could be causing an issue as I think plenty of other people use both of the above without issue.
  15. Hi, I am bit late finding this thread..but thought I would post my progress so far I started this save when I first got FM14 and have been messing around with some other saves but I have come back to this one. I'm originally from the Solihull area so I decided to take on another local club and see how far I could take them (I'd played Solihull to death on a previous version) and I have always like the city itself. As you can see I picked Worcester City. Worcester start off in a ground share arrangement with Kidderminster and probably one of the lowest reputation's in the Skrill North. They have no history of note, except a sole Southern League Premiership win back in 1979. I'd like to be romantic and say it was before I was born, but unfortunately, it isn't.. The first season went well and we were promoted by the playoffs. I mainly used a 4-2-3-1 counter tactic (which two patches later, now seems defunct) so I wont bother posting it. I have also put a list of my 1st year transfers below. Nick Rogan, was a star for me on load from Hednesford. As you can see he scored an amazing 37 goals and I did manage to get him on a free transfer at the end of the season. I entered the Skrill Premier predicted to finish dead last and as this was before the contract bug was fixed half my team left on free transfers, unwilling to negotiate with me. The wage budget was very low for the new season and the max wage was 350 per wk so it was hard to attract the players I wanted but as you can see I did manage to get some freebies. So halfway season two is where you find us. We have been doing ok, but since the latest patch I have been in a pretty ordinary patch of form. We do still do have a bit of a buffer zone to the relegation zone and I will be happy just staying up this season. We will move to our new ground next year. Nick Rogan is having another terrific year and without his goals I'm not sure where we would be. We did enjoy a bit of a cup run, by forcing Chesterfield to a reply away and beating them at home 2-1. They were top 6 in League 2 at the time. We were drawn away at Brentford in the 2nd Round but we bowed out 2-1. I'm now working on a basic 442 to try and turn my fortunes around.
