Work Rate, Teamwork and Stamina is required attributes that I do not compromise on. I don't really look at the other attributes as long as the player have a high PA. As Herne pointed the hidden stats are equally important. If a players is inconsistent or dislikes big matches he is discarded.

I play with two BPDs in my tactic and they both have an avrage rating well above 7. I have not noticed anything wrong with the ratings in my save. It may be a tactical/personell issue since a switch to DC improved their rating? Could it be that your PBD is a poor passer or has poor vision/decisions? If they try and miss a high amount of risky passes that may hurt their rating?

I found a workaround. I loaded an older version of the save and hired a B Team Manager. Seems like this only happens when you donæt have a B team manager.

I fixed it myself. Went back to an older version of the save and hired a B Team manager.

I just took the Real Madrid job, and on deadline day I have to register players to my B team. The problem is that when I press on the squad registration button I get to the player overview screen but I have no option to register players. There is no registration tab either so I am unable to proceed with the game. I hope someone know a workaround for this!

No, that was not what I said at all! I meant that combined with other instructions you may increase the risk of getting countered. For instance if you have short passes, high tempo and cautious mentality and the only attacking outlet on your team involves risky passes to your attackers. In that scenario your defenders will just pass it amongst themselves increasing the risk of someone eventually making a mistake. When that mistake happen you will get countered. That mistake may well lead to a ball over the top because the defence push higher up when you have the ball. Think Man Utd under Van Gaal. That team got countered a lot because all they did was pass the ball sideways all day long.

Caught on the break? If they where trying to attack then the back line would push higher up even with a lower defensive line, because if the didn't they would be strecthed and open up gaps all over the place.

And trigger press more often. That means that your players are more likely to leave their position in order to press an opponent, thus leaving space behind that the opponent can exploit. Also the low block will give the opponents playmakers more time and space to ping passes to the opponents strikers. The cautious mentality also means that your players will be very carefull with the ball. For instance they will not initiate a counter attack when they have the opportinty because the pass is to risky. That may acctually increase the risk of getting countered by the opponent.

Sorry, but your game file is probably corrupt. If you have rolling saves then you may try to load an old version.
