  1. I have made some schedules based on mr houghs tactics. There are for first-team and youth players. I schedules were influenced by SFrasers training ideas. I'd be interested to see what people think. They are not the finished article by any means but it's a good attempt it think. So try it and get back to me with your input good and bad. Enjoy!!!!

    Hi

    Why high aerobic and low strength training for DC's? Issent the high aerobic training gonna cause injuries?

    Also how do i know wich player to put in the forward training schedules?

  2. This new version is not doing well for my team. I am in my second season with Man city, still have a few players adapting but i can see the tactic is not working as it should do. I was having much more succes with your original classic tactic. I think the OI's are unnecessary and may do more wrong then right imo. I will play some matches without OI's now to see whats happening. I hope it gets better.

  3. 3at: Any advice on what needs improving?

    Gee Simpson: sorry to hear that mate, which club are you at? Are your defenders fast enough? Do they have good anticipation? What kind of goals are you conceding?

    matthew56: I've been using the maximum size, for the new season I'm going to try the standard size and see if that is any different. My guess is that if your defenders don't have very high pace/anticipation, you might be better off not using the maximum size pitch. The defensive line in this tactic is very high, and with a big pitch that means lots of space behind your defenders for the opposition to exploit.

    Well

    GK=default

    RB=stay back

    LB=stay back

    CB=Challenge keeper (best header,jumping,bravery, strength)

    CB=Attack far post

    RM=attack ball from deep

    LM=attack ball from deep

    CM=lurk outside area (bets longshooting CM)

    CM=anything inside big box

    ST=attack balll from deep

    ST=attack ball from deep

    I get many more goals from corners now.

  4. i'm using this as barca, i'm battering teams without scoring that much. my strikers hardly score at all, etoo, henry, bojan. any ideas anybody?

    cheers

    You have creative players up front, the default V6 piranha doesent use their creativity to its full potential. Some guy posted an adjusted V6 for his real madrid team. Its the one i am using now and my strikers always score. The tactic also swaps CM's , wingers and strikers. I always used the default V6 piranha untill i started using that other tactic. It made my team perform much better. Highly recommended, playing on 9.03.

  5. Yeah. Patience is another attribute to use with this tactics.lol You really need time. And I'm not talking about ten matches, no. It took me 4 seasons to have decent results. You need to stick to it.

    bs only took me like 5 games and i could already see the difference, once understanding in the team is at a top level any good tactic would work in like 2-3 matches providing that you have quality players. And even then, i signed 11 players in my 1st season with city and still the tactic produced results and only got better because the team was getting to know eichother better.I won the title and uefa that season and in my second season things are going almost perfect, still 10 matches to go and i won the title already and league cup, still playing fa cup and ECC. In the team report it sais understanding between the players couldend be any higher. No wonder because i kept most players from my 1st season anyway. If it took you 4 seasons to have decent results then your probably doing something wrong.

  6. I would strongly suggest you decrease the intensity of training even though i've done that and yet i still get a least 2 players either coming off or carrying knocks at the end of each game. I just don't know what to do. I might be a case of decreasing really low due to having so many games per season. I don't know.

    Well intensity of training really doesent have any effect on injuries what so ever unless you are going to very heavy intensity. Then you would get more injuries as a result of training.

    But injuries while in a match are unavoidable, they only happen depending on the players injury proness i gues. Mostly as a result of other players challenges and tackles and if you are playing in bad weather conditions the chances are even higher of injuries. End of season players tend to get injured even more.

  7. Hi i am still here and still rotating between V6 and eagle in my second season with city. I am nearing the end of the season and i am still unbeaten in all matches. I currently have a 20 points difference with arsenal who are 2nd in the league.I won the league cup and i am in the quarter finals of the ECC and semi finals in the FA cup. I could well win the quadruple this year, i'l post screenshots when the season ends.

  8. I am still unbeaten in my second season with city. Still rotating between V6 and eagle depending on opponent. Following tweaks improved the tactic further:

    -Free kicks : aim for best header

    -Attacking free kicks make sure your best headers go forward

    -Put throw ins to short (helps create chances or possesion)

    -When you have a 2 goal lead in second half do the following:

    Pull back the wingers to RM and LM, put them on forward runs rarely and hold up ball.

    Set the CM with backarrow and keeper to hold up ball.

    Drop team mentality 5 notches, defensive line 3 notches.

    Put tempo to slow and time wasting to often.

    Put closing down to "own half"

    Put your RB and LB to forward runs rarely.

    You can do the same with V6 but its most effective with eagle formation. Your players will try to keep the ball in the team, eventually the ball will end up by one of the wingers who will try to hold on to it, occasionally he will still attempt to dribble but mostly he will pass it back keeping posession. If posession is lost then a crowded midfield will soon regain it.Very effective as for now i am halfway my second season and i only conceded 10 goals in the EPL.

  9. Thanks for a great tactic tlyerbode just one thing i need help with every game once it gets to 80+ mins i always conced a goal am normally a few goals up so it normally dosent matter but is there any tweaks i can do so this can be better defensive near the end thanks

    I find that sometimes when you score goals first half then the opponent reacts in the second half and will become fired up due to manager team talk. If the opponents team happens to be extremely determined aswell then you have the ideal recepy for conceding goals late.

  10. Ok in only one match i got outplayed in the second half, most likely because they had a good teamtalk and their players got all fired up. Fortunatly for me i had a 2 goal lead and they got finished in the end when they changed 4-2-4. Appart from that match i have won and dominated every match so far. I am mostly using eagle for hard away and home games, sometimes if all goes well i switch tactics if i need a goal, i also use eagle on neutral grounds. To summarize so far i have won everything(10 games) in the EPL, won the community shield and european super cup. Looks like this is going to be a very succesfull season!

  11. I started my second season with city and my team is strong in all positions now. I will most likely rotate piranha and eagle depending on the opponent. I just played the english super cup against man united and won 0-1 with the eagle tactic. I noticed posession is high but it was hard for the team to find openings in front of goal due to the strong man united defence. We did dominate the game though and created chances from the wings with wingers cutting inside and trying to score. Eventually a man united player lost the ball and my midfield quickly delivered the ball to my lone striker vagner love who places the ball in the net. After that man united switches to 4-2-4 and that got us even more chances but we failed to score. Still we looked very solid in the back so i am having big hopes for using this tactic in away matches this season.

  12. My first season at manchester city has ended and so far with using this tactic i have won the title and uefa cup + i still have the fa cup final left to play but even if i lose that one my season is already a great succes. I have only been using V6 for most of the season and i only tweaked it for hard opponents and tricky away matches. I used the automatic career start wich didend make things easyer and i brought in lots of players to replace the dead wood at the club. Even though i bought some quality players some are still not playing to their full potential but still enough to win trophies. I could credit my managerial abilities for some part that made my season a succes but in essence its tyler's tactic that diserves the most praise.

    I cannot stress enough on the importance of a good keeper and fast defence that really makes a big difference using this tactic. Your field players in general also need to be of adequate quality because in the end season i played a few matches with a B team and it didend pay off like it did when i fielded my A team.You can really see the difference on the pitch.

    Now up to that cup final and after that i'l probably look for some topquality players to make the team even more solid.
