    Kevhamster / Smurf,

I am looking for a laptop around the £500 - £700 range, that will handle FM easily enough (obviously) but also be suitable for the kids' homework / general browsing and perhaps Franchise Hockey Manager or Out of the Park Baseball in the short term.

Ideally from Currys, AO or similar as I can get some decent cashback offers from them. But generally whatever you think's best.

I had thought of the following as a token offering to the conversation with my limited knowledge of these things.

You guys do a fantastic job, thank you so much in advance.

Just as a follow up to my reply to you this morning kev, this one's still available at Currys. I know its had good shout outs previously in the thread, thoughts currently?

Something with this sort of spec would be great.

There may be others which are cheaper, but I'm on my mobile and the AO site isn't great on mobile.  I looked at Currys but they seem to be struggling for stock at the moment.

Thanks for your prompt reply mate.

The AO laptop is out of stock so any other suitable alternatives would be appreciated but having read through the whole thread, is it the processor, above all else, that I should really be focusing on when making comparisons?
