  2. Hi Kubi, that's good to know.

    Is it possible to use a similar process to change the way Anfield looks in the game? I'm not a fan of the big gaps in the corners and the 1960s floodlights and, if nothing else, would like to change it back to the way it appeared in FM16.

    Just for the record, I've already reported it in the Liverpool data issues thread at the request of a couple of mods.

    Ive noticed they have streamlined a little and vary more but they are still mostly the same old same old. 

    I put in a feature request about this type of thing as it really needs a refresh.

    I asked if the 'script' of all of these interactions could be made available to the community to either suggest changes or to mod the whole thing.

  4. Very happy about those improvements to the editors.

    Especially the option to give a player a transfer value when you move him between clubs, a more detailed explanation of the different editor options, the ability to add non-player future transfers and the computer helping to fill in a player’s missing stats by being able to choose his role.

    Great stuff.

    You could try using one of the old ad board mod packs. I had an FM15/16 one in place at the start of the beta and it replaced the flashing boards. photo Liverpool v AFC Liverpool_ Pitch Full-2.png

    That one has fan flags and banners but there are others that have ad boards - see the skinning forum.

    i would hope so otherwise what's the point of having multiple ppl analysing your games :)

    I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of DAs makes no difference beyond the first one. Am I right in thinking that this is still the case with physios?

    Regarding the performance stars, it may be a case of wait and see.

    My graphics rating has plummeted from 4 or 5 (can't quite recall but know it was nice and high) stars in 16 to half a star in 17. I have been playing on low detail and the match engine is pretty smooth.

    So I asked in the new laptop/pc thread about buying a graphics card to compensate and Welshace (heroically helpful techie guru) advised against it as the graphics capability I already had should play 17 very well.

    So, I'm wondering if my half a star may be a bit of a bug as I'm not the only one experiencing it at the moment.

  11. Trying to arrange some friendlies during an Indian training camp but there are no nearby teams to choose from.

    Choose other takes me to a list of Indian clubs but I can't spot how to actually choose one. Am I stupidly missing something obvious or is there a problem?

     

    I have to say that that I am very impressed by the standard of this beta, very few issues. The match engine is smooth and the play produced is both varied and dynamic. Actually seeing low cutbacks into the area from wide positions for pacey mobile forwards to take advantage of rather than asking players to do it but then dying a little inside each time they smash high crosses into the defender five yards away.

    The UI is slick and responsive but I am getting a few flickers and stutters as the calendar processes.

    Columns in the squad screens seem a lot less unruly (I'd have paid just for that!)

    I've not really bonded with my social feed yet but it's early days and I am at least glad it is there to be explored.

     

    All in all, so far, take a bow SI.

  12. Hi! Would anyone disagree that a player with an ambitious personality and a media handling of evasive and unflappable would be the best candidate for youth development?

    If I read this correctly, any ambitious personality indicates 15+ for ambition, and evasive and unflappable as the media handling gives 15+ for professionalism, pressure and temperament. Pressure and temperament is an added bonus of course.

    Or are there any other combo of personality and media handling that is better? Not counting Model Citizens of course, since they are extremly rare.

    I think you are spot on with the Amb/Ev combination. Unfortunately, I have found it is also quite rare.

    One way I have used to shed a little light on the quality of potential tutors is if you happen to have a professional squad you can scout ambitious players and the reports will give an indication as to whether they will fit in or have to adapt. Thus giving a guide to their professionalism. The same can be done if you have an ambitious squad and then scout professionals.
