  1. Wont let me upload the photo for some reason, any ideas how to get it on here?
  2. Fella's here's a screen shot of how i've altered things and its still the same, if not worse coz i'm not scoring as many. Nearly every goal i have conceded is from a cross, my defenders are getting skinned, my midfielders are getting rings run round them. Please any help would help.
  3. Thanks for the feedback fellas. So in terms of alterations to my set up, would you recommend Fellaini as ball winning midfield support, maybe Baines on fullback attack and Walker on automatic, or Baines/Walker both on attack? Then maybe leaving Pressing, Creative Freedom and Tackling on default? Whilst we're here, i read somewhere on here that specialist positions ie - Deeplying playmaker, Advanced playmayker etc should only be used in rigid philosophies? Can anyone shed some light on this and if so, playing the system i do could you recommend payer roles in a fluid and rigid setup? Thanks again for your input
  4. I am having massive trouble with my defenders, they seem clueless when it comes to tackling, marking, just defending in general. To give you an example, the opposition winger has the ball, when i pause it my back four are set up well, even my centre mids are positioned well, the ball is whipped in to the box and arrives at attacking players feet, my defenders and defending midfielders turn into zombies and the attacking players runs round them and scores, its not only with crosses, its whenever an attacking player runs at my defence too, my defenders just cant seem to not only tackle but jockey them. I am Tottenham and i am playing a 4-2-3-1 formation, GK - Lloris (GK DEFEND) RB - Walker (FB AUTO) CB - Dawson (CD DEFEND) CB - Vertonghen (CD DEFEND) LB - Baines (FB AUTO) CMR - Fellaini (BWM DEFEND) CML - Parker (CM DEFEND) WR - Lennon (ISF ATTACK) AM - Sigurdsson (TREQUARTISTA) WL - Bale (ISF ATTACK) My Team Instructions are: Philosophy - Balance Strategy - Control Passing - More Direct Creative Freedom - More Expressive Closing Down - Press More (have also been on 'Stand off more' for a whole season) Tackling - Aggressive Marking - Man Marking Crossing - Drill Crosses Roaming - More Roaming The only in game shouts i use are 'pass into space' and 'play through defence' if the pitch is big or 'pass to feet' and 'run at defence' if its a small pitch. I leave all specific instructions as they are apart from 'counter attacking'. I dont use the sliders on player instructions, and my team preparation is on 'teamwork' until fluid then a rotation of the others every week for rest of the season on 'average' I am in my 2nd season with Tottenham and had a reasonably good 1st season, finishing 3rd and doing well in the Europa League, if my defence weren't so vulnerable i probably would've won the Premier League as i was 8 points clear at one point but went 5 league games without a win in March which ultimately lost me the title. I leave all my defenders on 'defending' training schedule and every now and then assign my defensive midfielders (Sandro, Huddlestone, Parker, Fellaini) on 'defending' training too. I have also tried changing my system to a 4-2-3-1 deep, with Parker and Fellaini in the defensive midfield slots but doesn't seem to make any difference. If anyone knows where i am going wrong on can give me any advice on how to tighten up my defence without losing much attacking threat i'd appreciate it.
  5. Can anyone recommend team instructions and player roles for my Tottenham team in a 4-2-3-1 formation. I have edited it so Sigurdsson, Dempsey, Dembele and Adebayor are there at the start, my only signings were Fellaini and Baines from Everton. I have tried 4-2-3-1 in my first season but didn't get good results with it so changed to a rigid 4-4-2 and ended up finishing a respectable 3rd (ahead of arsenal more importantly). I don't mind 4-4-2 but wanted to stick with 4-2-3-1 so any help would be appreciated
  6. Anyone else having problems managing big teams (ie - Chelsea). I have started three games in the last few months, Tottenham, Newcastle and Chelsea, I won the league with Tottenham in my first season, finished third with Newcastle in first season and got sacked by Chelsea in December of first season. I'm wondering if I'm not a manager for the superstars as I just don't seem to get the best out of em. Anyone else have this problem or know/can help with where I might be going wrong?
  7. Can anyone recommend any good promising English or British youngsters that are good enough to play as an advanced playmaker in the three of a 4-2-3-1. I play all three as advanced playmakers and its working well but would like to add a bit of young English talent to my mostly foreign Chelsea squad.
  8. Is there somewhere on the editor where you can change the kick off times in the premier league to an evening, similar to la liga?
  9. Does anyone ever have a problem in beating the big teams away from home? I have started a game with chelsea and i am three points behind Man Utd, i have beaten them at home 2-0, beaten Tottenham at home 2-0 but i have lost away to Man City, Arsenal and just lost away to Man Utd to leave me 6 points behind them. I understand that this is not unrealistic but i just never look like beating any of the big teams away from home, they look more dangerous on the attack, more solid at the back and quicker and fitter than me. I play a 4-2-3-1 Balanced Control so its not like i'm going all out attack or anything. Can someone please help?????
  10. Just started a game with Chelsea and am playing 4-2-3-1 with two ball winning midfielders (one defend one support). Do you think it could work????? Thinking of using to out of four of these lot Essien, Mikel, Ramires and Meireles?

  12. I seem to always struggle with my training schedules in the game. I want a possession based training schedule to suit a team like Barcelona, Arsenal, Spain etc. only problem is I can't download on my computer so I wonder if someone could post a screen shot of a good training schedule. Cheers
  13. Yeah i hear what your saying and i knew someone would come back and say that but there just seems to be something missing from the team
  14. I'm currently playing a Barcelona game and first season i was superb, won La Liga, Spanish Cup, Champs League and World Club Cup playing some of the best football since i started playing the game. I am playing 4-2-3-1 with Abidal, Pique, Puyol and Alves at the back, Busquets and Xavi, and with Messi (on the right) Fabregas in the middle and Iniesta on the left with Villa up top on his own. I'm in December in my second season and although i am 8 points clear at the top of the league i don't seem to be playing as well, not just as a team but individuals, ie Messi, he has scored 19 goals which by December is quality but his missing the target from the 6 yard area which for his standard is ridiculous. I also just lost in the final of the World Club Cup to Sao Paulo which is pathetic coz that is the easiest tournament to win. My thoughts for my loss of form (i suppose you could call it) is i think in the first season all the players are still in Pep Guardiola mode and still playing his football, and although we are still playing decent football there just doesn't seem to be the same fluidity about our play. I set defenders to defending training and midfielders to midfield training etc so i think they might be losing their attributes that Guardiola's training gave them which i understand coz i'm not Guardiola but i still want them to play that sort of football. First of all do you think that is why i'm not doing as well, Secondly, can anyone recommend a good passing training schedule to use for a Barcelona team? (i cant download on my computer so screenshots would be handy)
  15. Need Help

The defensive line on an attacking strategy is quite high (even when closing down is selected to 'stand off') What do you recommend for a solid, possession based tactic that would suit all players? Control?
