    Yeah - this is a steam error - the servers are all timing out. I believe another major game went into open beta at the same time, so its likely the servers are being hammered at the minute.

    You are best asking for advice on these in the Editors Hideaway - where you will more likely catch the attention of someone with the relevant editing expertise.

    I can see you point - but on the other hand I note you are Spanish league - are you Real Madrid or Barcelona? - If so - you could argue that they are required and the board would be disappointed in the manager if they were not to win both of those... maybe not to the point of sacking - but stranger things have happened (are happening) at those two clubs...

    Have you got a staff member responsible for training? (I believe you have to be in charge of training to set the groups).

    By bumping the ratings - did you do CA as well as the attributes? did you go over their PA (if so - the game will have moved the attributes back down to balance them). It certainly sounds an interesting experiment - were any of the mental/hidden stats changed as well (as these can have an impact on performance). I'm not saying that everything is right or wrong, just adding thoughts as to variables that may be worth investigating.
