  1. Ah ok fair enough, thanks for clearing that up! Yeah he's doing well performance-wise but I'm getting pretty frustrated with his attribute development as one week he'll have a few increases here and there then for no such reason his attributes drop so he's back to square one. Is this just the attributes somehow balancing themselves out? I think he's pretty much hit his peak anyhow. How is your save? Wow, it must be bittersweet having so many different combinations you can play. Have you given him an extended run in the team yet? Maybe he just needs time to settle in or something although it can't be that bad for him seeing as he played for Atletico for so many years. What's his value at now? If selling are you looking to recoup the majority of the transfer fee or are you just looking to get him off your team (and hefty wage I presume). Thank you Ofcourse: Profile - http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/5641/lionelmessioverviewprof.png History - http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/6361/lionelmessihistorycaree.png
  2. Just finished the 2019/20 season and won 5 competitions altogether (lost to R.Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup playing a 2nd string team). Only a couple interesting points: My striker who finally took over Messi as undisputed striker showed me I made the right decision in picking him. Ended up breaking all kinds of records. Could have definitely scored more if he didn't miss a month of injuries as well as rotation of the squad. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/4350/jrgenstangoverviewattri.png Also, the previous summer I had a news item I'd never seen before. http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/3276/michaelajibadenewsinbox.png Does anyone know what this is? I think I got it because my bank balance reached £1bn because as soon as I checked my finances I only had £700m left.
  3. Agüero, I'm guessing you payed his release clause fee? How are you incorporating him in your team?
  4. I took your advice and kept him until the end of the season playing in the majority of the matches. Still no increase in attributes and even decreased in some areas. Turkovic has improved even more and tbh he's only 20 and I feel with the right training he can develop into a world class DM, I'll be sure to take a screen shot at the end of the next season. M'Vila moved to Lyon 5 seasons ago for a mere £7.5m as he was unsettled and wanted a new challenge etc. I would have signed him at that time but I'm tired of signing the same old players so decided against it and looked for other alternatives (I found my regen Song). M'Vila would cost me £35m and I'm not prepared to pay that for someone who isn't going to add a great deal to my squad. Yeah, Muniain. I don't know where to start with this guy. He's absolutely brutal. Scores, assists, mazy Messi-like runs but his attributes don't do him justice. He keeps suffering niggly knocks and injuries so he often drops attributes as soon as he's gained them and has to start from scratch. I suppose if he's given a injury-free season he can become even better but I can't see that happening judging from past seasons. He was actually my first signing of this save and has already been tutored by Messi to have determination 19 and a "determined personality. Coincidentally, his dribbling and first touch have now improved to 18 and 16 respectively along with composure of 17. He's looking better. Actually, Jones just transferred to Chelsea last summer for £40.5m. I was looking at getting him for CB but never got round to it and they snapped him up. I never really considered getting him for DM but I don't mind him moving somewhere else as it atleast proves the AI are making some big transfers to make the game more competitive. Regens are very good, I think. I've been quite lucky to find so many good ones GK- http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/7011/borisleroyoverviewattri.png Definitely first choice, only 20 and can see plenty improvement in the future. CB- http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/8316/enzolerdaoverviewattrib.png Future leading CB for sure, 19 and already capped for Italy. CB- http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5458/almeidaoverviewattribut.png Best prospect in my team I think along with Stang, absolute physical beast but could do with some mental improvements LB- http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/22/canercoskunoverviewattr.png One of the best LB's I've ever had, solid all round with no weaknesses. Already replaced Criscito as starting LB. CB/DM- http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/6734/patrickmaasoverviewattr.png Future captain no doubt. Excellent mental attributes just where needed as well as being a towering presence. AM- http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/9429/matasviscovichoverviewa.png Brilliant little player. Very skilful on the ball too. ST- http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/4350/jrgenstangoverviewattri.png I love this guy already. 20 years old, scored 51 goals last season and is Germany vice-captain. Definite goal-scoring heir to the great Messi.
  5. I've only got regen DM's now. My main starter is Turkovic: http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9048/zlatkoturkovicoverviewa.png Was going to ease him into the starting lineup but due to Busquets' injuries is undisputed 1st choice when fit. 2* now but 4* potential. Back up is Maas: http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/6734/patrickmaasoverviewattr.png He's my starting CB but is also Natural so if Turkovic is unavailable usually takes his place and someone else fills in CB. Busquets: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/575/sergiobusquetsoverviewa.png As you can see he's nothing like his former self and is basically at his peak. Will probably look to ship him off in the summer if he doesn't improve. Song: http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/4256/franckysongoverviewattr.png This lad is on loan for the season and has 4* potential too. If Busquets is moved on will take his place in the squad. Mascherano I have trained to play CB since day 1 and has performed extremely well. He's 32 now and is getting on, aswel as his form dropping slightly last season. Contract is up in the summer so debating whether to keep him or not depending on his wage demands. Only thing is he is a brilliant tutor. Muniain: http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/9152/ikermuniainoverviewattr.png Suffered quite a few injuries last season but is getting back to his best now. Iniesta is looking into doing some coaching with a view into management later on.
  6. Mate you're brutal! I understand your point though but I like holding onto players who've won me countless trophies over the years, nevermind Valdes who has just broken the apps record for the club! I think the only player key player I've let go is Villa only because his agent was too selfish. Yeah that was originally the plan but I loaned out the regen keeper to Shakhtar and he played a key role with them all season. He came back looking like this: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/7011/borisleroyoverviewattri.png So I think he's ahead in the pecking order of ter Stegen who'll have to settle for Cup matches and a few league ones here and there. I could do, yeah. The only thing is the wealth of CM's I have (plus I like playing with an anchor). Thiago: http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/6937/thiagooverviewattribute.png Think he has to play seeing how good he's turned out and he's home grown. Fabregas is also a key player but is quite injury prone. I also signed Wilshere a couple seasons back thinking it was only going to be temporary but the rate he keeps improving he's turning out to be the best I've ever seen him personally. http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/8746/jackwilshereoverviewatt.png He's struggling to get into a 3 man midfield nevermind a 2 man one so I'm not sure what's happening there. Busquets just isn't the same player anymore. They've seriously ravaged him with injuries so his attributes have dropped significantly. I read somewhere on these forums after suffering long-term injuries their attributes drop by a lot more than usual but unfortunately he hasn't recovered from those drops. He's only rated 2 stars by my coaches so I'm looking into letting him go Iniesta is 32 so I'm already starting to tone down his number of matches and Xavi retired 2 years ago I think so is part of the backroom staff
  7. Yeah mate that's what I usually do sometimes to incorporate both of them but that means I have to sacrifice my wingers and switch to a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow and I don't like playing Sanchez/Muniain AMC because they're abit too "dribbly" so they'll be on the bench I guess. The only other thing is to play 1 DM then just cram everyone else in attacking positions but that'll be too attacking. Yeah me too, and that £36m is usually reserved for Messi although Sanchez reached that too. Around what stage do you start to ease out VV? He's 34 now on my save and his stats are starting to drop and I've got this 20 year old GK 3* (4* potential) who is more than ready to replace him. VV's contract is up in the summer but I like to keep my long-serving players until they retire then put them on my coaching staff but there's hardly any room in my squad with Marc-Andre ter Stegen as my 3rd keeper
  8. http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/4350/jrgenstangoverviewattri.png What am I supposed to do with this lad? He's simply a goal machine as even since he was 17 years old scored 26 goals in all comps. I would play him as my ST but that's Messi's position and he's undroppable because he's scored 50+ goals in the last 2 seasons and I don't think I should change his position in any way shape or form. I could play this lad LW as he's accomplished there but I've got Muniain/Lucas Moura there so it's already packed with Sanchez/Pedro at RW. Should I just keep him as a fringe player until Messi starts to drop? Talking about Messi, somehow his value suddenly skyrocketed at the end of last season. Has anyone seen a natural value like this? I.e not just after being transferred? http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/4016/lionelmessioverviewattr.png It might something to do with his new contract which has a 5% yearly increase (£25,000) because of his ridiculous agent which nearly refused to renew and didn't accept anything less.
  9. IMO Muniain no doubt. Younger, spanish, less wages, re-sale value (if you want it). He's actually a fantastic dribbler (averaged 6.2 dribbles per game) and he's a very good finisher. The only slight criticism I can give is that he can be abit selfish at times but those are the mazy runs that can lead to a goal or an assist. If you do sign him, get Messi to tutor him to raise his mental attributes and I'd teach him to 'try through balls often'.
  10. Just finished the 2014/15 season and it went really well winning the double, with the exception of losing in the quarter final of the Spanish Cup 9-4 on aggregate but that's a different story. Well anyway the standout performers this season were my 3 forwards Alexis: http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/4549/alexissnchezoverviewatt.png Muniain: http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/9152/ikermuniainoverviewattr.png But the undisputed star had to be Messi, ofcourse: http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/4016/lionelmessioverviewattr.png Also had time to finish the season with the champions league final and this had to be the craziest match I've ever played. 2 days before, Messi suffered an injury in training which would have ruled him out of the match but there was no way that was happening so went for the option to give him injections leading up to the match. This is how it turned out: http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/6725/manutdvbarcelonainforma.png Was 5-2 up with 34 minutes to play and I thought there was no way I'm getting back in this match seeing they had all the momentum so I brought on Iniesta for Thiago in the 87th minute and he went on to lay on 2 assists which saved the day (and the laptop). Now looking forward to making some signings, was going to get Hazard to challenge Muniain for the LW position but judging by his last season I think he's made that spot his own
  11. I have to say Alexis Sanchez is absolutely unbelievable in my game and is the 3rd name on my team sheet along with Pique and Messi. Had all my strikers (Villa, Muniain, Messi and my regen) injured so I was forced to play him there for 2 games. Switched his role to Poacher and he ended up scoring 8 goals in 2 games, he just breezes past defenders as if they aren't there! Atleast I know now if worse comes to worse he can play there if need be. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/4549/alexissnchezoverviewatt.png Also, he's now valued alongside Messi on £36M.
  12. Very impressive results, how are you lining up the team? Classic 4-1-2-2-1 formation?
  13. Just sold Muniesa in this transfer window as he wasn't developing as I had hoped. I literally tried everything from tutoring, match experience with me and loaning out with others but he didn't seem to get much better so I cut my losses and sold him. Fontas and Bartra are in my first team set-up so I've still got home-grown players in there. Not sure why I need a star LW but think my squad needs some freshening up. Villa is getting on abit and is becoming quite injury prone, Muniain is usually back up to Messi although he covers LW too, Sanchez (1st choice) and Pedro cover RW and Afellay can deputise in any position but due to recent injuries has seen himself playing at CM. Deulofeu is doing OK, but he isn't ready for 1st team action just yet: http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/8041/gerarddeulofeuoverviewa.png Just missed out on Neymar actually , to R.Madrid of all teams. They decided to lodge a bid a couple days before the transfer deadline so I felt obliged to counter bid, unfortunately he accepted their offer of £140,000 a week. Yeah that's true, good idea. It's between Goetze and Lucas Moura or I might even get both!
  14. Classic Puyi, always there when you need him. Great achievement with the 24 clean sheet though mate KUTGW . Are you pressing high up like Barca IRL or have you adjusted the team yourself?
  15. I've just signed Alex Sandro in my save too, he's young and has the potential to become even better so I decided it was worth it. Had to shell out abit though (£21.5M) but hoping he'll pay it back eventually. He's currently rotating with Criscito so I find there's good competition. I could do with some advice as to whether I need to strengthen my squad in any way. I hardly spend money as I prefer to look towards the youngsters as my only noticeable transfers for huge sums are Criscito (£17M), Muniain (£20M) and Alex Sandro (£21.5M). The only place I can see myself looking at is a star LW and I've set my eyes towards Goetze but no matter what I do he doesn't seem interested. I've tried tapping him up but he seems so reluctant to move, I've even won the CL twice in a row! TBH I've got a transfer budget of £106M and I can't do anything with it. Here's my squad, suggestions would be welcome. http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/3123/fcbarcelonasquadplayersfr.png http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/6632/fcbarcelonasquadplayers.png P.S. I've trained Masch to play as CB with Pique since day 1 and he's natural there. Oh, and I think I've got to give a shout out to Thiago. Literally a genius the way he plays and he's probably ready for a starting place in my midfield especially with the injury-prone Fabregas/Iniesta and the ageing Xavi. He's coming on really well and has been rewarded with a new long-term deal. http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/6937/thiagooverviewattribute.png
