  1. Oh man haha! Been doing this every day anyway. Thanks for replying; I know NDAs and internal rules etc govern when info can come out.
  2. @Desmond Richardson - are you allowed to indicate when we can expect info re: iOS version of Touch?
  3. Also the Champions League licensing wasn’t shown either. If we were still months out from release I’d understand, but the beta will drop in the next week or so. The lack of marketing/hype generation for FM23 has been weird.
  4. Because what we all really wanted was more press conference questions and new meeting rooms.
  5. Tbf, in this video Zealand highlights his frustration that set pieces and international management have not been touched or improved at all.
  6. Thanks for taking time to answer all the questions, @Desmond Richardson - appreciate you!
  7. Thanks for sharing these images. Absolutely beautiful!
  8. There’s also no mention of the Champions League license in the article either. Is this incorporated into console/Touch in the same way as the full fat game?
  9. If this is the case it’s utterly bizarre considering they still haven’t made it so the game runs on multiple cores. At the end of the day, we are all here because we enjoy playing football manager. I started on CM2 as a child and was hooked immediately. However, I find myself playing much less because each iteration feels to move further away from ‘fun’ and closer to ‘admin work’. (And this is from someone who plays FM Touch!) This coupled with major issues like set pieces and international management not being fixed or even acknowledged. If SI came out and said they were working to rebuild set pieces, international management, XYZ etc but it wasn’t ready; fine. At least we know you are aware it’s broken and are trying to fix it. But we don’t get this, so every year we raise the same issues and go round in circles as the frustration in the community grows. I’m actually really pleased that Zealand and others are being more vocal about things needing improvement. They have large audiences and hopefully this might encourage changes for FM24.
  10. Great shout! I play on mute because the noise doesn’t reflect what’s happening. Proper sound would be amazing for immersion. Actually hearing your fans make noise celebrating a goal would be a good start.
  11. Agreed. As sic said, it’s about immersion. I want it to look and feel more like it should. Make me believe it’s Tuesday night in league 2 on one hand, and the Champions League Final on the other.
  12. The fact the match day graphics look worse than FM17 is my main gripe. The actual match engine has improved massively but the stadiums look terrible, pitches, weather and lighting have all gone backwards. I’m not even that bothered for graphical updates to the football side. But I want the stadiums to feel different and realistic, weather to actual look/feel real and the pitches/lighting to go back to what it was like in FM17.
  13. Just because there are less posts in that section, doesn’t mean there aren’t those of us who play non-PC versions. When they announced no FM Touch on iPad for 22, I was disappointed because that’s the way I play. I don’t have the time or desire to play full-fat FM anymore. I’d love SI to continue putting resources into alternatives to PC because it makes the game more accessible.
  14. They could do this but be less specific to avoid as much ‘drama’ Announce the roadmap and ideas that are being considered or worked on but don’t advise when to expect them. We get info on future additions and how the game might look and SI don’t have to give any concrete dates.
  15. I don’t even think they’ve pushed full fat FM enough either. Aside from the 42 minute video, and the blogs which were just the video in writing, there’s been nothing since.
  16. Touch has always felt neglected in terms of any info/announcements. Rarely do we get any meaningful info until close to release. I feel SI miss a trick every year generally with the lack of marketing/promotion building up to release. It should be little and often to build and maintain excitement.
  17. So FM mobile has team talks this year. Certainly hope this means they are included in Touch too.
  18. Yes I’d like to see improvements in how the match day looks. FM17 looked better in terms of stadiums, pitches and weather. FM22 is a better visual representation of the football. Combine the two. In terms of performance, I’d be happy if they enabled the game to take advantage of multi-cores instead of running on just 1 core most of the time.
  19. I’m hoping AI squad management has been improved, but the Squad Planner feature for me is an entirely different concept. I see this more as a ‘notebook’ - it means I no longer need to use pen and paper planning my squad and transfers as it can be done within this screen in game. As long as the AI managers have been improved so they function better, they don’t really need a planner as what they do should happen in the background (I.e. they don’t need a notebook)
  20. It’d be nice if it could recognise the tech capabilities of your device and adjust accordingly. My iPad Pro could handle far more than 3 leagues. That said, the PC star ratings for processing speed (and graphics) are so badly wrong so I don’t hold much hope.
  21. Had a look through the screenshots on Apple Arcade. There are different ones for each device (iPhone, iPad, Mac) None of them have the squad planner listed in the menu, like the PC screenshots do (left hand side menu) I was really excited that FM was coming back to iPad but now I’m more hesitant and wondering what will actually have made it in. The Champions League license, music, walkout and bespoke camera they talk about in the blogs is my number 1 (I love CL). Will have to wait and see if anything gets announced as to what we can expect.
  22. Looks like the champions league music is included. No more loading up YouTube before my champions league games.
  23. Like the focus on defensive tactics working in game as opposed to gegen or nothing. The Champions League graphics look amazing, but Danny didn’t actually confirm if the anthem is included in game (I want to hear the music!) As an iPad player, last one I played was FM21 so looking forward to this.
