I've been given some good advice over the past few weeks which I'm grateful for but I wanted to wait until black Friday before purchasing a laptop. I have now  seen a couple more but not sure which one to opt for. All 3 are very similar models. Difference is in the storage space. Which one do you think I should opt for, please?

I thought I already told you.

It's just a bit better - not really sure and couldn't be bothered looking back to be honest.

No mate, you recommended the one below which I appreciate but I also wanted to know if the graphics card below is perfect for the 3D match engine

Budget would really help here  - cheap for me might be expensive for someone else.

As he's 9 he will probably want to play other games - and you will also need to purchase a Monitor.

In this instance I'd go with the i5 7200 U as it's base processor is 2.5ghz - FM requies 2.2ghz

The Ryzen does not meet FM minimum specs.

Not that one for the same reason as posted above

It's a bit under spec for FM but should be ok.

They're all the same really - go for the last one - it's a tiny bit better.

FM requires 2.2ghz - I'd be only looking at processors with a minimum of 2.2ghz base speed.

    Looks good!

There's no information on the specs reallly - I wouldn't bother.

Thanks Smurf. May I ask what is better between the one you recommended and the one that has a 17.3 inch screen? Also would either be absolutely fine with 3d match engine.

  4. @Smurf

Hey mate. Just been reading through this thread and I have to say your contribution along with others is astounding. Much appreciated. I looked at the following laptops and would like advice on which to opt for that would be good for the next version of football manager. I'm ideally looking for a laptop that can run the 3d match engine very smoothly, run a large database and a couple of countries without running slow.

    Thanks
